Availability
My schedule is normally pretty open, including weekends. Looking forward to keeping me out of the house and active with lots of walks and cuddles! At this time, my house-sitting calendar is quite full, and I’m not accepting new house-sitting clients. My current clients know that it’s highly recommended to book early! However, I’d love to discuss my other pet care services and see if we’re a great fit.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve shared my home with pets my entire life and currently have two adventurous kitties who are learning to walk on harnesses as I prepare them for RV adventures. They have a few favorite canine visitors, so if your dog is respectful of cats, they’re welcome in my home too! I have a fenced yard and live a block away from a park but I’m also comfortable taking larger dogs that need lots of exercise to the dog park.
Information Cathy P. would like to know about your pet
Before our first visit, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet so I can get to know both you and your pet. I’ll ask about their personality, favorite activities, routines, special needs, allergies, medications, behaviors, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I’ll also ask for your veterinarian’s information and a local emergency contact if you’ll be traveling.
A typical day
Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding schedules, cuddle time, medications, or simply relaxing together, I’ll provide the same loving care they’re used to receiving at home. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Pet care experience
There’s something special about the love of a furry family member, and I’ve believed my entire life that a house just isn’t a home without one. I’m semi-retired and have been building my pet care business since December 2021. Caring for animals is now what I do full-time, and I truly can’t imagine spending this chapter of my life any other way. I’m fortunate to be a surrogate auntie, grandmother—and now even a great-grandmother—to many wonderful pets and their families. It brings me so much joy to build lasting relationships with both. I’m experienced with senior pets and understand that some need a little extra patience, attention, and care. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care routines to help your pet feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is simple: to care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own. I love to spoil my furry guests with affection, playtime, and attention—but I’ll always follow your family’s routines and guidelines. Whether that means treats, no treats, cuddles on the couch, or sticking to a strict schedule, I want your pet’s experience to feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m proud to have earned over 200 five-star reviews from wonderful clients. If you’d like to know what it’s like to work with me, I invite you to read some of their kind comments—they tell the story far better than I ever could! I look forward to meeting you—and, of course, your wonderful furry family member!
Reviews

Cathy was wonderful to work with. Our two puppy beagles had a drop in visit from her and everything went perfect. We will definitely use her again in the future with no hesitation.

Cathy took great care of my cat, Elton, over the holidays. She gave him lots of love and treats and took cute photos as well.

Cathy has taken excellent care of our two cats multiple times! She is great with them and we appreciate having a sitter we can trust!

Cathy took great care of my cat Elton as always. She gave him plenty of love and treats as well.
