“Lisa was my very first Rover experience and she did not disappoint. Thank you for the great photos and the report card. It’s clear that they needed the walk and break. I will be using Lisa again without question. Thank you Lisa and Rover.”

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: I have hands-on experience working at a dog grooming salon for a year, where I cared for dogs of all sizes. I’ve also taken veterinary classes in college, giving me a strong understanding of animal health and behavior. I’ve owned pets my entire life and truly love caring for them. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and drop-in visits during mornings, afternoons, and evenings in most cases. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand that every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during every visit or walk. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, leash requirements, and any behavioral or safety concerns. I also believe communication is important, so I provide updates and photos to help owners feel confident while they’re away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets.
About: I have taken care of our German Shepherds, mixed breeds and recently my daughters Rottweiler. Many years ago, we had a cocker spaniel. I absolutely love dogs & we miss having one a lot! What a better job, seeing a dog that loves to see you, the unconditional love dogs show, and I get to care for several different kinds! I work part-time in the mornings until noon; however, I will be retiring soon so I’d like to do something I love! What better way than to love and care for dogs! I can easily crate your dog or let the dog out in the morning, feed and water, let the dog out in the backyard to go potty. If I’m just going to client’s home.
About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. I have worked as an equine veterinary technician before for 2 years, which has exposed me to many different types of pets, big and small! I currently am self employed and run my own business. I enjoy going on walks and figured why not get a new buddy to go with me! I love animals and would much prefer hanging out with your cat, or dog than anything else really. I'll alway make time to pet that dog! (or cat, we don't play favorites. But we all know cats decide when they want to be pet. ;) ) I always put safety and comfort first. I follow each pet’s routine so they feel at ease, make sure they have fresh food and water, and keep their space calm and secure. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I treat every pet like they’re my own—with love, patience, and attention.
About: I have been taking care of pets for about 3 years for my family and friends. I mainly take care of any type of dog, and I mainly stay at my friends’ houses if needed, but i have also had pets stay with me as well. I am currently a college student and will be in Coeur d Alene for the summer time (May-August) and in Moscow during the school year (August-May). During the breaks I will also be back in Coeur d Alene, so I love to help out whenever I can! I have a line that goes around my back yard, and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at my house. My cats are outdoor and indoor cats, and my dogs are indoor and very friendly.
About: I have experience with overnight care, daily care, walks, potty training, vet trips, and every other outing with pets. I love all pets like my own and would love to support your family in any way I can! I am a nanny with availability for your flexible schedule! I am open to a one-time visit or a recurring visit! I am all ears for whatever you may need! I do not board pets in my home, but when it comes to your home, I can easily crate them and ensure that they stay within the boundaries you have set for them.
About: I have personally owned several dogs and trained dogs since I was a child. From puppies to adult dogs. Cattle dogs do Dobermans. I am able to travel to most locations in the Phoenix metro area. I have a dog yard and plenty of safe place to walk dogs. I understand what the needs are for dogs such as taking them out and feeding them. Making sure they have a peaceful environment.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life, and I have my own dog named Milo. I treat everyone’s pets as if they were mine. I have plenty of time in my day to care for your pets. My job is flexible with hours and I am always able to work things around. I have a fenced backyard and plenty of dog toys, and two fur babies, so your pup/s would be able to interact as if they were home.
About: I have over 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs, including raising three litters of puppies and training champion-bred pointing setters. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors who need extra patience and attentive care. What truly sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to their happiness, health, and well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Part-time with a flexible, changing schedule. Available for morning, lunch, and evening visits, plus overnight and all-day care on certain days. Very easy to communicate with! With three dogs of my own at home, I’m unable to host pets. Instead, I provide professional, high-quality care in the comfort of your home, and where your fur babies feel safest and most at ease.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
