About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, including my own, for as long as I can remember. I have trained my pets as well as other's in basic obedience. I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. My favorite breeds to care for are large breeds, most specifically breeds like pitties, mastiffs, and dobermans, but I love all dog breeds too and love how every dog has their own unique personality. I've also cared for cats doing volunteer work and have 2 of my own. I'm currently available anytime of the week all year besides the few times per year that I travel. I am working to potentially have a career with dogs. For care in the client's home, I will do whatever is instructed to me to be done for the pet. I am good at reading dog body language and understanding their needs. I've cared for fearful/avoidant dogs and hyper/clingy dogs alike. I am not able to provide care in my own home since I live with family and own 2 rescue cats.

About: Hi, I’m Jordyn! I’m 22 years old and I am new to Rover. I have three large, very active and cuddly dogs of my own. I’m doing Rover full time so I’m always available for a walk, a drop-in, playtime, or housesitting as well. I understand that leaving your pet to a stranger while you’re away is pretty scary, so my goal is to create a bond with your pet and make sure that you can trust me 100% and feel comfortable. I want to provide the same level of care and love that you do with them. My own dogs are five and seven years old. I have raised each of them since they were 8 weeks old so I have been around plenty of puppies before. I also have experience housesitting with a couple senior dogs too, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can take care of larger dogs, but I would prefer no more than 80 pounds as I’m not too strong. I’m good with dogs of all energy levels and would love to play with them, or be quiet and calm as they need. I have housesat and watched other pets for long periods of time (as long as 2 weeks). I also don’t mind picking up/cleaning up any messes either. Unfortunately, due to my home being pretty full, I cannot board in my own house. I am also okay with other pets like cats, fish, and turtles as I have experience in taking care of all of those. I’m home all day except for running errands or appointments so I’m always available to take care of your pet. They will always be my priority. My own dogs have a nice yard to play in and they go on walks frequently. When caring for your pet, I will make sure to care for them the same way you do, as well as treat them like my own. I’d love to take them on walks, play, give treats, and show them lots of love.

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!

I can easily stick to your pet’s usual routine to make sure they get plenty of attention and potty breaks while you’re away. I live right by the Centennial Trail, which is perfect for safe and scenic walks! I always keep dogs on a leash and stay very alert to our surroundings. If I’m providing house sitting, I just ask for about two hours each day to care for and exercise my own dogs while my husband is at work. About: I’ve always had a passion for animals, when i was younger i used to always beg my mom to take home the stray dogs. We lived in Brazil at the time so there was plenty. She always said no so i opted for playing with them all day! I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family since i was 12, ranging from many breeds, sizes and ages. I currently work at starbucks in the early mornings and then spend the rest of my day chasing around my 11 month old! Would love an excuse to get outside of the house, and change up the routine! It’s hard to do a one size fits all description because each owner’s and pet’s needs are very different! I typically like to take the dogs for a minimum of a half hour walk, sometimes longer. I tend to stick nearby their house, unless owners recommend a different trail their dogs are familiar with! Meals are typically done at the owners request & schedule. When dropping in at a client’s home i also take special care to make sure everything stays completely in order and to respect their rules ( i.e. no shoes in the house).

About: We always had multiple animals growing up! Dogs, cats, hamsters even! I absolutely love animals and pet sitting allows me to get pet time in since we don’t have pets. It’s also gives my three year old son chances to get used to pets. He loves all animals but cats especially. Just like his mama! I always bring my fiancé & son to the meet & greet. That way you know who will be in your personal space and Incase my fiancé needs to do a drop in due to my work schedule. It is important for the dogs to be kid friendly but can work around it and avoid bringing my son. *** rates are flexible! They may change if you are far away considering gas prices. It is very easy to work pet care into my routine. I typically work from 4pm to 11pm, 3 to 4 nights a week. Although my fiancé will be available if a drop in is needed during that time. My schedule fluctuates but I always will keep you in the loop on if he needs to go. If you’re okay with it during the initial meet & greet. It has not created an issue in the past:) In clients homes I’ll sure the animal has fresh water & is fed correctly. We make sure to give treats if allowed and lots and lots of play time. Along with snuggles if the pet enjoys them!
