“Kayla has been an absolute gem! She has been coming to our home daily for the past five weeks and has been incredibly consistent, dependable, and always on time. She is wonderful with my pups, and I always felt confident knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. Beyond being reliable and professional, Kayla is simply a wonderful human. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Rachael took excellent care of our cat Delilah! She was very timely, and detailed with the visit summaries. She also bonded well with Delilah and gave her lots of attention. Delilah was very content when we arrived home from our trip, which is rare as she typically is very lonely and sometimes depressed when we are gone. So we know that Rachael's visits made a big difference in reducing Delilah's stress. Thank you so much Rachael!”
“Brianna is such a huge help! She has been so helpful navigating Rover, flexible with my changing schedule, accommodating to my dogs, etc. I’m so thankful she has been available. She does exactly what we have discussed and she definitely eases my mind while I’m away!”

“Jessalyn did a great job dropping in on our cat while we were on vacation! She sent lots of pictures, played with him with toys so he didn’t get super bored, and took very good care of him with food, water, and cat treats. His litter box was clean and he had been brushed as requested. We will definitely use her again 😊👍”

“Nicole is the absolute best! You will not find a better sitter for your pets! I’ve used her services for over six months weekly. She is highly flexible and my very anxious dogs just love her! She was always on time with a very time sensitive medication.”

“Jess was prompt to show up for our meet & greet. Our Vizsla, Cash, took right to her. She asked great questions about his personality and care needs. Jess provided details about each visit (twice a day for three days) and some really fun photos. We plan on hiring her again and again!”

“Adam is the best! He sets the bar for the kind of person you hope you can find to take care of your pups when you can’t. We appreciate his genuine concern for our 3 pups and his dependability. So happy we found him.”
“Stephanie was amazing and our corgi loved her. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior as well as very kind and affectionate toward our boy. She took photos every day to show what they did on her visits. Highly recommended.”

“Tayla did a wonderful job watching our sweet Bentley! She sent pictures and communicated daily which really helped us not miss him so much! Thank you Tayla for taking such great care of our family!”

About: Hi, I’m Jordyn! I’m 22 years old and I absolutely adore animals. I have three large, very active and cuddly dogs of my own. I’m doing Rover full time so I’m always available for a walk, a drop-in, playtime, or housesitting as well. I understand that leaving your pet to a stranger while you’re away is pretty scary, so my goal is to create a bond with your pet and make sure that you can trust me 100% and feel comfortable. I want to provide the same level of care and love that you do with them. My own dogs are five, six, and seven years old. I have raised each of them since they were 8 weeks old so I have been around plenty of puppies before. I also have experience housesitting with senior dogs too, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can take care of larger dogs, but I would prefer no more than 80 pounds as I’m not too strong. I’m good with dogs of all energy levels and would love to play with them, or be quiet and calm as they need. I have housesat and watched other pets for long periods of time (as long as 2 weeks). I also don’t mind picking up/cleaning up any messes either. Unfortunately, due to my home being pretty full, I cannot board in my own house. I am also okay with other pets like cats, fish, and turtles as I have experience in taking care of all of those. I’m home all day except for running errands or appointments so I’m always available to take care of your pet. They will always be my priority. My own dogs have a nice yard to play in and they go on walks frequently. When caring for your pet, I will make sure to care for them the same way you do, as well as treat them like my own. I’d love to take them on walks, play, give treats, and show them lots of love.
“Kelsey and Cody did such a great job with Tinkerbell! We felt totally at ease on our vacation knowing they were taking such great care of her. Very kind and share excellent check-in photos, too!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Otis Orchards
Rachael, thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us and our shy cat Nani. Rachael, went above and beyond and coordinated with our leasing office to gain access to our apartment after we realized we forgot to leave the key for her. Our cat is very shy and Rachael took the time to let her get used to her and sing to her and gave a beautifully detailed summary of the visit. Will definitely book again.

Victoria took such great care of my cat AND my several fish tanks, which included several odd requests for aquarium care. she even went to my mailbox several times when my live animal order shipment got delayed. I arrived back home to see everything in good condition

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
