About: I provide concierge level care for your pets giving them lots of attention. I've taken care of all types of dogs including german shepherds and high energy breeds, and have fostered several pups destined for service. I have two cats of my own. I even feed and muck stalls for horses or other barn animals. Pls inquire re those rates. I am retired and take care of my hobby farm near Liberty Lake. I am very experienced with pets and they get a lot of attention and companionship from me. I can walk dogs or play with ball for exercise. I sit or play with cats depending on their personality. If more daily companionship is needed for dogs I am used to having them come with me for errands in my SUV in a crate.
“Xenia was so good with our kitties. We loved having someone we trusted take care of our babies while we were gone and it was so comforting knowing they were happy. She sent pictures and even was able to get our shy girl to come out while she was there. We would use Xenia again in a heartbeat and are so grateful we found her!”

“Christina was wonderful with my cat! She went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and comfortable. She was reliable, communicative, and kept me updated throughout. I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was, and I would definitely trust her with my cat again!”

“Jess is amazing! She sent detailed paragraphs on how my kitties were doing and multiple pics each visit! They were very calm and well taken care of when we returned! Her communication is the best and keeps you posted on everything! Thank you!”

“Kayla has been an absolute gem! She has been coming to our home daily for the past five weeks and has been incredibly consistent, dependable, and always on time. She is wonderful with my pups, and I always felt confident knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. Beyond being reliable and professional, Kayla is simply a wonderful human. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl, when my family rescued a pregnant dog, and we raised her puppies together. I have a lot of experience with cats, especially seniors who need extra love or medicine. While I enjoy dogs of all ages, I specialize in small to medium breeds. I’m a patient sitter who focuses on building trust. My husband often joins me on our pet-sitting adventures! He absolutely loves dogs, and they always have a blast playing with him. This means your pet gets double the love, attention, and playtime during our visits. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are our top priorities! I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for midday walks and check-ins both on weekdays and weekends. I can easily stick to your pet’s usual routine to make sure they get plenty of attention and potty breaks while you’re away. I live right by the Centennial Trail, which is perfect for safe and scenic walks! I always keep dogs on a leash and stay very alert to our surroundings. Since I don't host pets at my place, I’m happy to come to your neighborhood for our adventures. I’ll also send you plenty of cute photo updates so you know exactly how much fun your furry friend is having!
“This was our first time using Rover and came across Stephanie. We are sure glad we found her because she was great with our kitty. We were gone over the 4th of July and she was great with Maggie. Pictures and videos were provided and Stephanie gave great insight to how Maggie was doing. We had a great first experience with the app, through Stephanie! Thank you!”

“Jessalyn did a great job dropping in on our cat while we were on vacation! She sent lots of pictures, played with him with toys so he didn’t get super bored, and took very good care of him with food, water, and cat treats. His litter box was clean and he had been brushed as requested. We will definitely use her again 😊👍”

“Nicole is the absolute best! You will not find a better sitter for your pets! I’ve used her services for over six months weekly. She is highly flexible and my very anxious dogs just love her! She was always on time with a very time sensitive medication.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with a passion for helping pups thrive and feel right at home. I’ve been training and showing dogs in obedience for over 20 years, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior, structure, and positive reinforcement techniques. As a licensed veterinary technician with 15 years of experience in both emergency and general practice, I’m highly skilled in monitoring pet health, recognizing subtle changes, and safely administering medications when needed—so you can feel confident your pet is in knowledgeable, capable hands. My home features a securely fenced, shaded, and grassy backyard designed for safe play, along with plenty of toys and enrichment opportunities like feeding puzzles, treat games, and agility equipment to keep dogs mentally and physically engaged. I also offer bathing and full grooming services, making it easy for your pet to come home happy, healthy, and looking their best! My priority is pet care! I am a licensed veterinary technician but am not currently working in the field (but have kept my license up to date). I am home nearly 24 hours a day (aside from occasional errands) and minimize time out of my home when I have client pets. About: I have taken care of neighbors and family member pets since I was 10 and i have always had an animal in my home. Pets take to me very quickly, and i have always enjoyed thier company as well. My mom has been doing rover for little over 3 years so i have been able to assist her with rover related services. I have taken care of many puppies and older aged dogs and cats, and I am aware of the different needs of different pets of size ages and backgrounds. Most of my pets have been rescues so i am also good with pets with ptsd and anxiety. I have high patinence levels and adapt easily to new situations. My first priority will always be the safety of the pet so I will always make sure to clarify details and not just assume. I make sure my pets are fed, brushed and giving exercise daily. Sometimes my eldest dog will come into my room at 2 am asking to go to the bathroom because she knows I will get up to let her out when she cant get anyone else to wake up. And when needed I enjoy giving my pets baths. I check in on the frequently to make sure that they aren't anxious or in need of something. I am consistent with feeding schedules and bathroom schedules, along with grooming schedules if needed. I also make sure to pick up any accidents that may happen. I am observent and often the one to catch if something is up i am often the one in my home to notice things like bugs, cuts, splinters, and clumps of fur that may be bothersome or itchy.

Christina was wonderful with my cat! She went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and comfortable. She was reliable, communicative, and kept me updated throughout. I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was, and I would definitely trust her with my cat again!

Rachael, thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us and our shy cat Nani. Rachael, went above and beyond and coordinated with our leasing office to gain access to our apartment after we realized we forgot to leave the key for her. Our cat is very shy and Rachael took the time to let her get used to her and sing to her and gave a beautifully detailed summary of the visit. Will definitely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
