“Kayla was a great sitter for our dogs. We have a puppy as well as an older dog, and we all know how they become our babies in a lot of ways so it’s not always easy to find someone you trust. Kayla made me feel like I can trust her right away. She came to visit our dogs before she watched them, and we were very shot notice. I truly appreciated that. She made sure to fill out their cards and upload pictures of them. We are very grateful she was available and did such a great job.”

About: I provide concierge level care for your pets giving them lots of attention. I've taken care of all types of dogs including german shepherds and high energy breeds, and have fostered several pups destined for service. I have two cats of my own. I even feed and muck stalls for horses or other barn animals. Pls inquire re those rates. I am retired and take care of my hobby farm near Liberty Lake. I am very experienced with pets and they get a lot of attention and companionship from me. I can walk dogs or play with ball for exercise. I sit or play with cats depending on their personality. If more daily companionship is needed for dogs I am used to having them come with me for errands in my SUV in a crate.
“Nicole was great with our dogs and my puppy and older dog can be stubborn and she did amazing with them. Will definitely book again with Nicole. Very trustworthy and kind to our dogs ! I like how she even took time to send pictures and sit with them (:”

About: I LOVE animals! I’ve grown up with cats since I was 5 years old, and have had dogs for about 4 years now. I am very comfortable with both, and I love to build relationships and trust with the animals I care for. I have been watching animals including cats, dogs big and small, as well as horses for friends and family for about 3 years now alongside my current job. I have the most experience with cats, and German Shepherds and other big dogs. I am also experienced with senior cat and dog care, including giving medicine and physically assisting larger dogs when needed. I also love to spend time playing with animals, getting to know them and their personalities, and helping them to feel comfortable and safe! I currently work M-F at an elementary school and have online classes for graduate school on Monday and Tuesday evenings. I am available for house sitting though the week, but due to my work I am unable to give potty breaks from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays. I am available most weekends and my calendar will be updated accordingly. I pride myself in building trust and relationships with the animals I care for. I love to engage with animals and play with them, as well as make sure that they are comfortable and feel safe with me in their environment. I am able to help them physically if needed, and administer medication to ensure their health and safety. I also love being around animals - I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you are gone!!
About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl, when my family rescued a pregnant dog, and we raised her puppies together. I have a lot of experience with cats, especially seniors who need extra love or medicine. While I enjoy dogs of all ages, I specialize in small to medium breeds. I’m a patient sitter who focuses on building trust. My husband often joins me on our pet-sitting adventures! He absolutely loves dogs, and they always have a blast playing with him. This means your pet gets double the love, attention, and playtime during our visits. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are our top priorities! I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for midday walks and check-ins both on weekdays and weekends. I can easily stick to your pet’s usual routine to make sure they get plenty of attention and potty breaks while you’re away. I live right by the Centennial Trail, which is perfect for safe and scenic walks! I always keep dogs on a leash and stay very alert to our surroundings. Since I don't host pets at my place, I’m happy to come to your neighborhood for our adventures. I’ll also send you plenty of cute photo updates so you know exactly how much fun your furry friend is having!
“Jessalyn did a great job dropping in on our cat while we were on vacation! She sent lots of pictures, played with him with toys so he didn’t get super bored, and took very good care of him with food, water, and cat treats. His litter box was clean and he had been brushed as requested. We will definitely use her again 😊👍”

“Brianna was amazing she took care of me with very short notice. She did a great meet and greet the puppies loved her she kept me up-to-date the entire time I was gone with pictures and status thank you Brianna I look forward to using you again”
“I was so lucky to find Averi on here! She was wonderful and affectionate to our big girl Golden. Thanks for also watering the flowers while we were away! Sunny says thanks for all your care and walks.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!
“Tayla did a wonderful job watching our sweet Bentley! She sent pictures and communicated daily which really helped us not miss him so much! Thank you Tayla for taking such great care of our family!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals and I’ve done a lot of rescue and rehoming! I love animals, from cats to fish I’m crazy about them. I’ve cared for babies and elderly of a lot of different species and I pride myself in always doing my best in taking care of all their needs. Ive got quite a few of my own babies at the moment but they’re all very friendly and adjust easily to new animals. I don’t currently work so I’m home 24/7 to care for my own pets, I have two crate trained dogs, five cats two frogs, two birds, fish, and a hamster, so I’m basically always cleaning and playing or training one or the other! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.
“Kelsey and Cody did such a great job with Tinkerbell! We felt totally at ease on our vacation knowing they were taking such great care of her. Very kind and share excellent check-in photos, too!”

I have my own pup who loves playing with others, and is always happy to make a new friend! I’m very attentive to any needs your pet may have and will follow any instructions to a T! If you have any concerns I’m more than happy to reassure :)
About: From human babies to cats, bearded dragons and beyond, I'm excited to meet you and your pet! I've always loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and reptiles. Caring for your furry (and not so furry!) loved ones brings me lots of joy and is how I wish I could spend every day. Also available for overnights up to a week, staying in your home so your animal is most comfy! I can administer pills and monitor health conditions, and can provide physical assistance for small dogs and cats with mobility issues, like getting up and down furniture. I'm open and eager to learn administering other medication types if you are comfortable teaching! Anxious and shy pets warm to me easily, and so do senior dogs and cats! I have open availability during the summer months as I work for the school district. I want to spend my time loving and caring for your pet/s, so please let me know what your needs are and I'll do everything I can to make it work! “Adam is the best! He sets the bar for the kind of person you hope you can find to take care of your pups when you can’t. We appreciate his genuine concern for our 3 pups and his dependability. So happy we found him.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for years and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, and I always strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd mix, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and high-energy dogs. I’ve also administered medications to my own dogs when needed and always follow care instructions carefully. Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs while they were away. I also rescued one of my own dogs, which gave me experience helping an adult dog adjust to a new home, build confidence, and replace unwanted habits with positive behaviors through patience and consistent training. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether your dog prefers a relaxing walk or an active adventure, I’ll tailor their care to their individual needs while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available most days for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. If I’m providing house sitting, I just ask for about two hours each day to care for and exercise my own dogs while my husband is at work. Outside of that, I’m committed to following your pet’s normal routine and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and any special instructions so they receive the care they’re used to. Whether we’re out on a walk or spending time at home, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit, taking your dog for a walk, or house sitting, I’ll provide attentive, compassionate care while doing my best to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I’d also be happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Otis Orchards
Rachael, thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us and our shy cat Nani. Rachael, went above and beyond and coordinated with our leasing office to gain access to our apartment after we realized we forgot to leave the key for her. Our cat is very shy and Rachael took the time to let her get used to her and sing to her and gave a beautifully detailed summary of the visit. Will definitely book again.

Victoria took such great care of my cat AND my several fish tanks, which included several odd requests for aquarium care. she even went to my mailbox several times when my live animal order shipment got delayed. I arrived back home to see everything in good condition

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
