About: Hi, I’m Jordyn! I’m 22 years old and I am new to Rover. I have three large, very active and cuddly dogs of my own. I’m doing Rover full time so I’m always available for a walk, a drop-in, playtime, or housesitting as well. I understand that leaving your pet to a stranger while you’re away is pretty scary, so my goal is to create a bond with your pet and make sure that you can trust me 100% and feel comfortable. I want to provide the same level of care and love that you do with them. My own dogs are five and seven years old. I have raised each of them since they were 8 weeks old so I have been around plenty of puppies before. I also have experience housesitting with a couple senior dogs too, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can take care of larger dogs, but I would prefer no more than 80 pounds as I’m not too strong. I’m good with dogs of all energy levels and would love to play with them, or be quiet and calm as they need. I have housesat and watched other pets for long periods of time (as long as 2 weeks). I also don’t mind picking up/cleaning up any messes either. Unfortunately, due to my home being pretty full, I cannot board in my own house. I am also okay with other pets like cats, fish, and turtles as I have experience in taking care of all of those. I’m home all day except for running errands or appointments so I’m always available to take care of your pet. They will always be my priority. My own dogs have a nice yard to play in and they go on walks frequently. I’d love to take them on walks, play, give treats, and show them lots of love.

Everyone knows me as the friend who is obsessed with dogs, and I’m so excited to hang out with more pups! 😊 I have 2 labs of my own who absolutely love having furry friends around! They’re playful and social, but they’re also great at matching the energy and personality of other dogs—whether your pup wants to run and play or prefers to relax. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I have experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, high energy dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, etc. I understand that every dog has their own needs, routine, and personality. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, drop-in visits, and lots of love and attention while you’re away. Because I have dogs of my own, your pup must be comfortable and friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care. I am happy to provide drop in visits and/or walks for those “only child” type dogs 😉 feel free to message me anytime! Working from home, the dogs will never be left alone for long periods of time. I usually go for walks in the morning and at lunch and would be happy to take your pup! I have a larger 6 ft fenced yard and a doggy door if your pup is trained, they can come and go as they please! We provide plenty of toys and playtime, but I can also give them a good place to rest in a crate or even a dog bed next to me in my office 😊

About: Not sure why my profile says that dogs must be spayed/neutered, I honestly don’t have a preference. I have consistently had pets since I was 6. Cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and turtles. I have also taken care of friends’ pets on a few occasions. Animals warm up to me quickly and seem to be drawn to me. I also tend to leave homes a little bit cleaner than I found them and I have been told that I am the best overnight guest ever, by my mom. 😁 My schedule is very open as I am retired and currently don’t have pets. I am available for short or long term pet and home sitting in your home. I prefer to meet you and your pet(s) at your home before I commit to staying. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
