“We had such a wonderful experience with Jackie over a long weekend. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond even taking the time to meet with us beforehand. While away, her communication was exceptional. She kept us updated with thoughtful messages and clearly treated our cat with so much care and attention. It gave us total peace of mind. When we returned home, we were genuinely touched to find a sweet thank you card and a warm “welcome home” loaf of bread from her favorite bakery. That level of thoughtfulness is so rare and truly sets her apart. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is truly one of a kind. If you’re looking for someone who will treat you and your pets like family book with Jackie.”

“Xenia was so good with our kitties. We loved having someone we trusted take care of our babies while we were gone and it was so comforting knowing they were happy. She sent pictures and even was able to get our shy girl to come out while she was there. We would use Xenia again in a heartbeat and are so grateful we found her!”

“Christina was great with our 2 dogs, who fell in love with her. She showed up promptly for the drop in visits and followed the plan as discussed. Will definitely use her again”

“Brianna has watched our very rambunctious golden retriever, Dexter, a few times now. She does a fantastic job! We would recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Jessalyn did a great job dropping in on our cat while we were on vacation! She sent lots of pictures, played with him with toys so he didn’t get super bored, and took very good care of him with food, water, and cat treats. His litter box was clean and he had been brushed as requested. We will definitely use her again 😊👍”

“My kittens love her. Good with medical issues with cats and administering and watching for signs of problems. Cleans up after them when they throw up, so glad! Sits on the floor and plays with them.”

About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. I have worked as an equine veterinary technician before for 2 years, which has exposed me to many different types of pets, big and small! I currently am self employed and run my own business. I enjoy going on walks and figured why not get a new buddy to go with me! I love animals and would much prefer hanging out with your cat, or dog than anything else really. I'll alway make time to pet that dog! (or cat, we don't play favorites. But we all know cats decide when they want to be pet. ;) ) I always put safety and comfort first. I follow each pet’s routine so they feel at ease, make sure they have fresh food and water, and keep their space calm and secure. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I treat every pet like they’re my own—with love, patience, and attention.
“Jess is amazing! She sent detailed paragraphs on how my kitties were doing and multiple pics each visit! They were very calm and well taken care of when we returned! Her communication is the best and keeps you posted on everything! Thank you!”

“Lisa was amazing! She made leaving our cats and chickens so much less stressful. I highly recommend here and would definitely use her again. She had excellent care and communication.”

“Shachel was amazing at taking care of my foster kittens while I was traveling. She is so kind and sent daily updates with photos. I highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies!😻”

About: I've taken care of a wide variety of animals ranging from dags and cats to horses and lizards! I have lots of experience with large and energetic dogs in particular! During the summer I am free all day every day and can spend as much time walking or just hanging out with your pets as they need! I treat all animals with respect and love, making sure to pay attention to their needs and comfort, but I am not afraid to be assertive when needed.
About: I have taken care of neighbors and family member pets since I was 10 and i have always had an animal in my home. Pets take to me very quickly, and i have always enjoyed thier company as well. My mom has been doing rover for little over 3 years so i have been able to assist her with rover related services. I have taken care of many puppies and older aged dogs and cats, and I am aware of the different needs of different pets of size ages and backgrounds. Most of my pets have been rescues so i am also good with pets with ptsd and anxiety. I have high patinence levels and adapt easily to new situations. My first priority will always be the safety of the pet so I will always make sure to clarify details and not just assume. I make sure my pets are fed, brushed and giving exercise daily. Sometimes my eldest dog will come into my room at 2 am asking to go to the bathroom because she knows I will get up to let her out when she cant get anyone else to wake up. And when needed I enjoy giving my pets baths. I check in on the frequently to make sure that they aren't anxious or in need of something. I am consistent with feeding schedules and bathroom schedules, along with grooming schedules if needed. I also make sure to pick up any accidents that may happen. I am observent and often the one to catch if something is up i am often the one in my home to notice things like bugs, cuts, splinters, and clumps of fur that may be bothersome or itchy.
About: I truly enjoy dog walking and dog sitting. Currently, I am unable to have a dog and dog walking/sitting brings me so much joy. I especially like taking dogs out for daily walks/jogs/hikes. I'm good with their familiar walks and also exploring new places if they are an adventurous pup! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and making new doggie friends. I'd love to meet your baby - send me a message! I currently work from home most days and can be available for daytime check-ins. I am also available most mornings and evenings for walks and check-ins as well. Weekends are very flexible as well. When caring for your pets in your home, I will make sure it is calm and comfortable for your pets. I appreciate knowing any rules and routines that best suit your pet so that I can follow them and make it easier on you when you return home.
“I'm so glad that I found Rover to help me with my cat while I was on vacation. Sherin took good care of Toby and I was relieved to see that he was happy upon my return home..”

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was a child and have also always cared for my own pets. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, cows, birds and a love for all animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and a horse. I am in grad school so I am looking for something incredibly flexible for extra money. I don’t have a set schedule right now and my life is a bit crazy! The centennial trail is right down the road from my home. My two dogs love to play and we haven’t met a friend (four legged or otherwise), that we don’t love!

About: My father taught me about life by giving me pets since I was able to walk. Animals are a gift and should be treated like they are family. I work full time, but I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Having a small farm myself, my kids, who are older, pitch in to give animals all the care and love they need! I have a fenced in property and enclosed kennels for exercise. I also enjoy taking them on walks and playing ball with them outside. Any specific requests will try to be honored…

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
