If you have any questions about where I'm at at the moment feel free to reach out ⭐️ Hello! My name is Madi. I am a current vet tech student looking to go into small animal medicine after graduation. I have three years of experience in veterinary medicine, with two of those years also being involved in a 4-H veterinary science project. Aside from my experience with veterinary care, I have been petsitting for the last seven years or so. I have cared for small and large breed dogs, cats, and birds. I have a soft spot for dogs as I have six years of prior experience in the 4-H dog project and some occasional AKC competitions. I've taken a break to focus on school; however, I've missed the petsitting aspect of my life. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets :) I am currently in vet tech school full-time; however, I am hoping to incorporate petcare back into my schedule. I have taken a short break from petcare to focus on school, but I've found that I miss it! In the past, I was able to incorporate petcare into my schedule effectively for both drop in visits and dogwalking. I can provide petcare on most weekdays (depending on the current schooling load) and on weekends. Feel free to message me with any scheduling questions! While I am not currently offering client petcare at my home, I feel very strongly that I can provide a safe environment for your pets in their homes and while walking. Years of experience training my reactive dog has assisted me in learning body language and how to properly avoid uncomfortable situations. While walking, I avoid greetings with other dogs as well as people. This keeps everyone safe and eliminates any possible issues that could arise. While doing drop in visits, I check the state of outdoor yards prior to letting animals out. This avoids possible escape or contact with animals or foreign materials. Additionally, I treat client pets as though they are my own and provide them with the love and care they need to be happy and healthy :)

About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. I have worked as an equine veterinary technician before for 2 years, which has exposed me to many different types of pets, big and small! I currently am self employed and run my own business. I enjoy going on walks and figured why not get a new buddy to go with me! I love animals and would much prefer hanging out with your cat, or dog than anything else really. I'll alway make time to pet that dog! (or cat, we don't play favorites. But we all know cats decide when they want to be pet. ;) ) I always put safety and comfort first. I follow each pet’s routine so they feel at ease, make sure they have fresh food and water, and keep their space calm and secure. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I treat every pet like they’re my own—with love, patience, and attention.

About: i am extremely experience with pets of all abilities, sizes, weights, breeds, and ages. I also have experience with medication administration! I also have experience transporting pets in the car. I thoroughly enjoy long or quick walks or hanging out with the pups at your home :) I am available every day of the week! My only UNavailable times are (including my driving time): - Tuesday 11:15 - 5:15 - Wednesday 9:15 - 1:15 - Thursday 9:45 - 3:00 I spend time with your pups following instructions very carefully . I care about movement and exercise for your pup, as well as finding out their music tastes! I care for them with cuddles and scratches and personal attention. I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!

About: I have experience helping care for a dog with an autoimmune disease, so I'm always mindful of pets with special needs, such as a specfic diet or medication, needed to keep them healthy. Currently I'm unemployed, so I have all the time in the world to look after the three cats I live with, and I'd happy to look after other people's pets too! I like to give pets their space while staying attentive to their body language and needs. In someone else's home, I'd be respectful of the space while caring for their furry loved one.

About: Pet loving person. All size dogs welcome. I'm generally home most of the day, there will be times that I won’t be. I currently have a dog of my own. I have owned/cared for pets for the last several years. I run a semi regular schedule every day. I generally get out for walk every day, weather determined. There will be no shortage of doggy loves. I’m not able to travel far. Cancellation policy at least the day before if possible. I'm a stay at home parent with semi lots of free time. I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to walks and dog park visits. I have serveal dogs of my own so behaviors and size don't scare me. I can handle majority of temperaments. I also keep records and in contact.

About: I recently moved from San Diego where, in addition to being a realtor, I ran a very successful high-end pet sitting business. While there, I enjoyed a very loyal client base and was lauded for my dependability and genuine love for the animals in my care. My clients and their pets, quite literally, became like family to me. I hope to obtain my real estate license here in Idaho and, as was the case in San Diego, I would be working from home. Additionally, I have a 21-year old daughter who loves animals as much as I do and who is taking on-line college courses and is home much of the time. In other words, someone is almost always home. I may also make visits to animals during the day if my schedule allows. I am very flexible re scheduling of pet visits and often take last minute requests for pet care. We live in a comfortable home with a fenced yard, however, I do not leave pets alone in the yard without supervision, and I enjoy taking walks with dogs. We have a 10-year old Border Collie named Macy who is very sweet and used to sharing our love with other dogs. She gets along with all sizes, ages and types of dogs and is used to visitors. I will generally be working from home and have a 21-year old daughter who loves animals and who will be in and out and with whom I can coordinate schedules. I work from home and go out only for short periods to do errands, so canine guests are never left alone for long periods of time. They are always supervised when they are in the backyard. I live in a comfortable home with a fenced yard. I have a very sweet 13-year old Border Collie who is used to welcoming our furry boarders.

She was super responsive and kind and listened to our instructions for Remy. We really appreciated her attention to communication and her attitude towards our boy who is learning proper leash etiquette. About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up around a variety of different animals - horses, goats, dogs, chickens, etc. I also have experience working at pet care places where I took care of a variety of different dogs and cats. I’m comfortable around all different types of dogs and cats and am willing to adapt and adapt to care for your pets. I have experience with senior pets and puppies and can administer oral-medicine or eye drops, ointments, etc if needed. When I come over to take care of your pets I will make sure to give them food, water, pets and playtime and dedicate my time to caring for them. I will make sure any doors are securely closed and locked when I leave your home.
