Ultimately I decided my dog needed her medication. It takes a long time to kick in though. Christy took her for a walk, gaves her loves, cuddled her, talked to, etc. The more going on in the house the more panicked she was! She was trying to fight the medication. About: I have had dogs since I was small. I absolutely love animals and spend time playing and taking care of each one. I have done in home and pop in sittings for 2 years not for family, friends, and have been recommended to others. I work full time as a nurse. I work the night shifts Monday—Wednesday. I also have a young daughter and I am still going to school to be a Nurse Practitioner. I have previously worked in rover and had a great experience. I’m looking to just add some extra income and what better to do it then getting exercise and loving on pets! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home. We play and walk them regularly. Give treats and immunizations. We clean up after them and have a fenced in yard. I will clean up animal messes and feed them to your schedule.

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: I grew up caring for animals, dogs, cats, horses, fish, cows, chickens, and a goat, having pets most of my life. My background is in healthcare while in the military. I have been my father's caregiver which allowed me to help foster puppy litters to adult dogs and care for a pack of 8 dogs-4 of which are mine while caring for him. I can now enjoy caring for other's fur babies giving them love and support. I am interested in always learning about animal behavior and all aspects of their care. I have been my father's caregiver but sadly he passed at the age of 94 and would enjoy caring for other's fur babies giving them love and support. I have an open schedule that is veryflexible. I am blessed to have my son's help caring for our dogs, allowing me to provide in-home and overnight care if needed. The number one goal is to adapt personalized routines for your pets so they are happy and healthy.

About: I’ve loved and taken care of animals since I was a kid. My family used to call me the dog whisperer because I was the family and friend pet sitter. I have some training experience from my own pets and those of my family. I am a firm believer that a pet is truly a part of the family and should be treated as such! I work from home and can house dogs during the day. I love taking walks in the mornings and evenings and bringing a furry friend along sounds like such a treat! Weekend hikes are also more enjoyable with company! My dog is like my child. She gets love and affection all throughout the day and as often as I can afford. I also have a large fenced in yard that my pup loves to run in all the time. I do my best to keep my pup happy and healthy. I want her to live a long and happy life.

About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. I have worked as an equine veterinary technician before for 2 years, which has exposed me to many different types of pets, big and small! I currently am self employed and run my own business. I enjoy going on walks and figured why not get a new buddy to go with me! I love animals and would much prefer hanging out with your cat, or dog than anything else really. I'll alway make time to pet that dog! (or cat, we don't play favorites. But we all know cats decide when they want to be pet. ;) ) I always put safety and comfort first. I have a soft spot for dogs as I have six years of prior experience in the 4-H dog project and some occasional AKC competitions. I've taken a break to focus on school; however, I've missed the petsitting aspect of my life. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets :) I am currently in vet tech school full-time; however, I am hoping to incorporate petcare back into my schedule. I have taken a short break from petcare to focus on school, but I've found that I miss it! In the past, I was able to incorporate petcare into my schedule effectively for both drop in visits and dogwalking. Years of experience training my reactive dog has assisted me in learning body language and how to properly avoid uncomfortable situations. While walking, I avoid greetings with other dogs as well as people. This keeps everyone safe and eliminates any possible issues that could arise. While doing drop in visits, I check the state of outdoor yards prior to letting animals out. This avoids possible escape or contact with animals or foreign materials. Additionally, I treat client pets as though they are my own and provide them with the love and care they need to be happy and healthy :)

About: Hi, I’m Alexis!💞☺️👋🏼 I have always loved and had a connection with all types of animals and joined Rover in the summer of 2022 to fill some of my time, I took a short break but now am back to sitting in CoeurdAlene, Idaho to fill some of my free time!☺️🐾 Before I found out I didn’t quite have the stomach for it and actually explored the career, I always wanted to be a veterinarian so I could get to work with animals! Since I couldn’t handle the messy medical parts now I love to sit + walk the fur-babies, take them to the park, and give lots of snuggles + treats!🥰 I’ve took care of pets since I was little and our animals had multiple litters of puppies and kittens as well so I’ve got to take care of little fur babies too along with the experience I’ve gained through Rover❤️ My mom and I ran a pet sitting page through Thumbtack in 2014 for a few years that was super similar to Rover and we were voted a top sitter under ItsRainingCats&Dogs<3 I love getting to feel like I’m helping a family and pet stay close while they are apart, while I’ve done pet sitting I’ve worked with elderly, blind, deaf, and other disabilities that needed help with some extra things.❤️ I like to make sure the animal always feels as comfortable as it can if staying in my home so let me know any special needs and I will always send pictures!😊 I’ve also given medications before if your animal needs to take them while being watched just as long as it’s pills or oral, I’ve never administered a shot.❤️ I have a small lab retriever mix who is full of energy when he wants to be and has never not wanted to introduce himself to the others, he is about 20 lbs and going on 8!😊🐾 He also LOVES to get out of the house and go on car rides + swimming so as long as it’s okay with you and your pet wants to, they can come on the adventures as well!🥰 I’m currently finishing some school online and work on jewelry for my Etsy shop in the daytime so I am almost always home during the week and usually just run quick errands throughout the weekends so I’ll always be back to check on the pets if I go anywhere as long as they work well being left alone, if not can make arrangements☺️ I have a large grassy field I let them use the bathroom every 1 -2 hours and always watch over them while they eat just in case anything were to happen. If you’re furbaby gives you a hard time in the bath or you’ve noticed they’ve been getting a little stinky, I don’t mind sitting in there with them and getting wet. If they get anxiety from baths I can bring treats and help them stay calm.❤️ We have some oatmeal soap for dry + sensitive skin and soft bristle brushes as well as nail clippers if you notice they need theirs done I have been clipping my dogs for a long time😊 I love to get outside myself so if your dog likes to go to the dog park or on walks we’ll be besties🥰🐾 Me and Winston go swimming often as well in the warmer months! I always will supervise feeding times or manage if pets need to eat separately, I let the babies out and pick up if the owner wants me to keep the yard clean, watch to make sure no doors or rooms that are supposed to be kept shut are left open, make sure crates/kennels are secured 100% when leaving, I always will put a leash on when going anywhere with a pet and bring water if it’s hot outside to keep the babies cooled down🫶🏼
