About: Hi I'm Katie. I'm an avid dog lover and would love to care for your pet. I work 3 days a week as a nurse and have the rest of the week off to care for your pup. I've grown up around dogs and now have a dog of my own. I'm very active myself and take my dog, Caspian, on long walks and adventures! My previous pup was a diabetic and I know the struggle it can be to find a good caregiver for your diabetic pup. I am willing to check sugars and give insulin as needed. Over the years I have taken care of friends and family's dogs, whether it be dog walks, dog sitting, etc. I would love to take care of your dog for you as well!

About: i’ve taken care of my own animals and others for 10 years. I love all animals and I am so exited to meet yours! i work about 30 hours a week 4 days a week 6 am - 2 pm my shifts very on the day but my schedule is very flexible. I can work with all types of breads from small to extra large! If your pets need lots of exercise and playtime I am your girl.

About: I have experience helping care for a dog with an autoimmune disease, so I'm always mindful of pets with special needs, such as a specfic diet or medication, needed to keep them healthy. Currently I'm unemployed, so I have all the time in the world to look after the three cats I live with, and I'd happy to look after other people's pets too! I like to give pets their space while staying attentive to their body language and needs. In someone else's home, I'd be respectful of the space while caring for their furry loved one.

About: Pet loving person. All size dogs welcome. I'm generally home most of the day, there will be times that I won’t be. I currently have a dog of my own. I have owned/cared for pets for the last several years. I run a semi regular schedule every day. I generally get out for walk every day, weather determined. There will be no shortage of doggy loves. I’m not able to travel far. Cancellation policy at least the day before if possible. I'm a stay at home parent with semi lots of free time. I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to walks and dog park visits. I have serveal dogs of my own so behaviors and size don't scare me. I can handle majority of temperaments. About: I moved from San Diego 6-1/2 years ago where, in addition to being a realtor, I ran a very successful high-end pet sitting business. While there, I enjoyed a very loyal client base and was lauded for my dependability and genuine love for the animals in my care. My clients and their pets, quite literally, became like family to me. I look forward to developing similar relationships with pets and their owners here in Coeur d'Alene. Rest assured that I am able to provide many references and look forward to caring for your pets as though they were my own. I hope to obtain my real estate license here in Idaho and, as was the case in San Diego, I would be working from home. Additionally, I have a 21-year old daughter who loves animals as much as I do and who is taking on-line college courses and is home much of the time. In other words, someone is almost always home. I may also make visits to animals during the day if my schedule allows. I am very flexible re scheduling of pet visits and often take last minute requests for pet care. We live in a comfortable home with a fenced yard, however, I do not leave pets alone in the yard without supervision, and I enjoy taking walks with dogs. We have a 10-year old Border Collie named Macy who is very sweet and used to sharing our love with other dogs. She gets along with all sizes, ages and types of dogs and is used to visitors. I will generally be working from home and have a 21-year old daughter who loves animals and who will be in and out and with whom I can coordinate schedules. I work from home and go out only for short periods to do errands, so canine guests are never left alone for long periods of time. They are always supervised when they are in the backyard. I live in a comfortable home with a fenced yard. I have a very sweet 13-year old Border Collie who is used to welcoming our furry boarders.

About: Hello! My name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. I have always had dogs in my household growing up. Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

I have been a personal dog owner for about as long as i can remember (lets say since I was 10). I love having a fur baby to walk, play with, and care for. About: I have a deep love and appreciation for my fuzzy little friends and all that they have taught me. I have learned everything I can to support my own pets and maybe even yours! I know how to perform CPR on both cats and dogs. I am comfortable following care plans for senior pets. Trained to provide subcutaneous fluids to kitties. I am currently available Monday - Thursday, barring the occasional appointments. I work long hours over the weekends so I am unfortunately not available at all Friday - Sunday I am a big believer in routine, as I know my fur babies definitely have and prefer theirs. I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!

About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
