About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.
About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: I’ve loved and taken care of animals since I was a kid. My family used to call me the dog whisperer because I was the family and friend pet sitter. About: My pet care experience is extensive, having completed over 30, 5-star dog/cat sits, years of caring for and raising dogs and cats, as well as experience with Positive Reinforcement training and Clicker Dog Training. “We adore Kate! She walked our pup for a week and a half and was prompt everyday, sent photos and took long walks with our pup. Our dog was happy and tired at the end of the day, which is a sign of a great walker! She was flexible with our last minute booking and always sent an updated Rover card so I could see what went on. Will ABSOLUTELY be reserving her services again! She is fantastic!!!!!”
About: Pet loving person. All size dogs welcome. I'm generally home most of the day, there will be times that I won’t be. I currently have a dog of my own. I have owned/cared for pets for the last several years. I run a semi regular schedule every day. I generally get out for walk every day, weather determined. There will be no shortage of doggy loves. I’m not able to travel far. Cancellation policy at least the day before if possible. I'm a stay at home parent with semi lots of free time. I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to walks and dog park visits. I have serveal dogs of my own so behaviors and size don't scare me. I can handle majority of temperaments. I also keep records and in contact.
