About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.

I've also fostered dogs in my home, and been privileged to be Mom to an Old English Sheepdog, Newfie, and now a Malamute named London. I am currently studying remotely for my Master's in nutritional health, so I'm at home all day. I hike with my pup twice a day, come rain or shine. I have a fully fenced (6ft) yard that is fully secure. We live on a quiet street and are just a few minutes' walk from a fenced dog park and a beautiful and quiet trail system.

About: For the past 15 years we’ve had 2-3 dogs and truly believe our dogs are a part of our family. Currently we have a 2 year old Aussiedoodle and we have two kids who love to play with dogs but also understand when a dog needs his or her space. We do allow dogs on the couch and have plenty of room for a dog bed if provided. I’ve had pets all my life and understand how important it is to have someone watching them who will treat them love and respect. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. While we have daily chores and errands we run everything is adjustable to fit your dogs needs. I’m rarely gone more then 2 hours at a time and there will usually always be someone home in my absence. Dogs are welcome to come in and out of our home via a doggie door and have full access to our large backyard. We recently moved and the yard is even bigger and better than before! If you require walks or even trips to the dog park we can definitely accommodate that. We do allow dogs on the couch and we have gates set up to keep dogs on our main level giving us the ability to keep a close watch on them. Note: For puppies under 1 or dogs with chewing tendencies or destructive separation anxiety we may require a crate. We do have one extra available and can definitely discuss further at the meet and greet. I’m currently a stay at home Mom so my schedule is flexible. I’m able to be home as much as needed and rarely leave for extended periods of time. My husband works from home so there will most likely always be someone around. In addition to our one dog we can board up to three additional dogs at one time. I will do my best to keep you updated and informed if there will be any additional dogs in the house at the time of your pets visit but I do quite often receive last minute request. Drop off/pick up times between 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM, any request outside these times may require an additional night to be booked. We recently moved into our new home which is larger then the old one with TONS of space for the dogs, a covered patio to relax under and a fully fenced in yard. We plan to install a doggie door as soon as possible so dogs can have free access in and out of the house. While rare to have more the. 3 additional dogs in the house we will occasionally take up to 5 additional dogs at one time. While we do our absolute best to monitor the dogs 24/7 they are dogs and can be unpredictable, we do our best to maintain a safe environment for all dogs and will inform you of any issues that arise.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! “First time using app based on local recommendation. Traveling with an extended stay. Had a meet and greet with Jackie before doggie day care to settle my nerves. Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. Felt very comfortable and at ease with leaving Ranger there for a “staycation”. He settled in quickly and Jackie kept me updated with text and pics and how he was doing throughout the day. The pics say it all. Highly recommended and hope we have another opportunity in the future.”
About: Always had a dog in the home growing up. Trained puppies and watched all of my neighbors dogs for them. Dogs have always loved me! I am self-employed so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to give your pet the time and attention needed. Morning, midday, and nights I can be available. About: My name is Taryn and I am currently going to school for nursing at North Idaho College. I cut back on work hours and figured I could help out with walks or pet sitting while I have extra time on my hands. I have two cats, a snake, and a tarantula. Although, I don't have dogs, I am very comfortable around all sized dogs and have frequently watched my friend's dogs when they've gone on trips. She was super responsive and kind and listened to our instructions for Remy. I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!

About: Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a father who worked at Marine World, I was raised around a huge variety of pets and learned the ins and outs of proper animal care early on. Over the decades, I’ve shared my life with multiple dogs and cats, and I've spent years observing behaviors. Currently, I am the proud pet parent of a 5-year-old English Lab named Snowball and a 1-year-old Pomsky named Sparky. I know firsthand that pets are family, and I am dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for your furry family members while you're away. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am.free after 4:00 PM and on evenings and weekends I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog or 2 to keep your dog company. I can also crate your dog if needed :) I will take them on walks and I have a dog park less than a mile away if you think it's okay to take them :)
