We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. Because of our cats, we can only accept small dogs into our home for boarding, but can go to your home as needed.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

I have three years of experience in veterinary medicine, with two of those years also being involved in a 4-H veterinary science project. Aside from my experience with veterinary care, I have been petsitting for the last seven years or so. I have cared for small and large breed dogs, cats, and birds. I have a soft spot for dogs as I have six years of prior experience in the 4-H dog project and some occasional AKC competitions. I've taken a break to focus on school; however, I've missed the petsitting aspect of my life. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets :) I am currently in vet tech school full-time; however, I am hoping to incorporate petcare back into my schedule. I have taken a short break from petcare to focus on school, but I've found that I miss it! In the past, I was able to incorporate petcare into my schedule effectively for both drop in visits and dogwalking. While doing drop in visits, I check the state of outdoor yards prior to letting animals out. This avoids possible escape or contact with animals or foreign materials. Additionally, I treat client pets as though they are my own and provide them with the love and care they need to be happy and healthy :)

About: I grew up caring for animals, dogs, cats, horses, fish, cows, chickens, and a goat, having pets most of my life. My background is in healthcare while in the military. I have been my father's caregiver which allowed me to help foster puppy litters to adult dogs and care for a pack of 8 dogs-4 of which are mine while caring for him. I care about movement and exercise for your pup, as well as finding out their music tastes! I care for them with cuddles and scratches and personal attention. I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!

She was super responsive and kind and listened to our instructions for Remy.
