“Amanda was great. Our dog is named Rover (yes). We dropped off Rover with Amanda for two nights. Rover would normally bark at someone new but he liked Amanda. She sent us pictures during the trip and gave him a bath too! She was easy to work with regarding drop off and pick up times. When we picked him up we could tell he had a good visit with Amanda. About: I have had the privilege of caring for my own kitty for two years. His name is Greyson; a gray tabby with lots of need for attention and food. Unfortunately, I had to rehome him due to a change in my living circumstances. I loved him so much and miss being around such a lovable little guy. About: My wife, Audri, and I are lifelong animal lovers with experience caring for a wide variety of pets. Audri grew up with Huskies, Malamutes, cats, rabbits, and birds, while I grew up with countless dogs and cats, as well as goats and even a pet rat. About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

I have grown up, spent time with, and cared for many different types of animals in my life, and I have loved each one. I have experience with all kids of pets, from large to small, from puppies and kittens to seniors, with a wide range of personalities, activity levels, medical needs, and all those adorable little quirks that make your pet special. Does your precious baby dog need a kiss on the head and to be tucked in before bed? Easy. Does your fancy pants cat require a spotless litterbox every time? No problem. Do I need to put on a show and act like I "cooked" a gourmet kibble meal for them every time? Done. I am very comfortable assisting with any medication needs for your animal and helping train/reinforce any training regimen you may have as well. Let me go above and beyond for your pet! I currently have very open availability and I have time to focus on Rover as my primary responsibility. I am able to commit to a regular schedule of pet care. While I am unable to host your animal in my home due to the fact that I rent, I am more than happy to travel to the environment where your pet feels the most comfortable: your home and neighborhood. I am more than happy to follow any rules and routines you may have.

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”
