When we showed up to his place he took the time to get to know the dogs and showed us where they would be and his yard. They immediately took to him and couldn’t be happier. He wore out two high energy silver labs and sent us updates of how they were doing. About: I owned and operated my own dog boarding and hiking business from 2017-2025 called Happy Tails On Trails, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. Your fur babies safety is a big priority for me so I will fallow all your rules and requirements to a T. I’m a very organized person so if you have a list of needs I’ll make sure to do it all.
About: I’ve had dogs around me my whole life; from active labs to precocious cocker spaniels to mutts with needs, I’m happy to provide the care your pets need while you’re away. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I love all kinds of dogs, from hyperactive to couch potatoes, malamutes to chihuahuas, puppies to senior dogs. I’ll be sure to keep your fluffy friends entertained and well kept while you’re away! As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. I’m happy to check on your pets multiple times a day to keep up with their schedules, and am happy to follow plans as needed. I do my best to follow any instructions provided for your pet. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.
About: I have a deep love and appreciation for my fuzzy little friends and all that they have taught me. I have learned everything I can to support my own pets and maybe even yours! I know how to perform CPR on both cats and dogs. I am comfortable following care plans for senior pets. Trained to provide subcutaneous fluids to kitties. I am currently available Monday - Thursday, barring the occasional appointments. I work long hours over the weekends so I am unfortunately not available at all Friday - Sunday I am a big believer in routine, as I know my fur babies definitely have and prefer theirs. I am happy to stick as close to their normal routine as possible.
About: I’ve been watching my neighbors since I was old enough. Ive worked at a dog grooming place so Ive work with all type of dogs, old and young! Ive also had two cats and a dog. I’ve also worked at a kennel facility so i’m use to all types of dogs and personalities! I don’t have a full time job right now so my schedule with just be a first come first serve. If anything changes in the future i will update immediately! I will respect all boundaries and rules put in place by you with your dog/cat and your homes. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the person friends and family trust to care for their pets. I have a Havanese named Pita who is my little adventure buddy. He’s 6 years old, about 16 lbs, and is a very friendly little guy who loves being around other dogs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and won’t be left alone during the day. I live in a clean, tidy apartment right off the Centennial Trail, so we love getting outside for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like they’re part of the family while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Pita and I already enjoy daily walks on the Centennial Trail, relaxing at home, and getting outside whenever we can, so your dog will be included like part of our normal day. About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!
About: I worked in dog grooming for a decade, and I do miss the dogs, often. I will be happy to help regardless of breed or size. I have open availability in my schedule. I work with many different service partners, and can easily adjust my schedule, with proper notice, of course. Dogs will be played with, of course!
