“So grateful to have found Ros to look after Teddy for the day. It was the first time Teddy was in doggy daycare and he can be an anxious dog but I needn’t have worried. Teddy had a great time with Ros and Georgie, having lots of playtime with his new doggie friend. Ros gave me updates throughout the day and clearly looked after and cared for Teddy. Can’t recommend her enough and already have made another booking!”

“Sonia has been looking after Sammy for a couple of weeks now and he is very happy to go. Sonia really wants to offer him the best care and ensures he has everything he needs. Sammy has kidney desease and need to drink often. Sonia makes sure he has plenty of water available. Due to his age, he can be slow on his walks but Sonia follows his pace.”

About: I have loved and cared for animals since I was very young. My family have always had dogs and cats and I would be there to look after them. Whenever any friends or family need a pet sitter, I’m always there to help! I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of time to look after pets. Please let me know what your needs are as I am very flexible with my time. I live in a ground floor flat and we do have a large garden (not fenced). I’m happy to walk your furry friend as much as needed as I walk daily anyway (10k steps a day).

“Jenni is absolutely amazing, we were let down last minute and Jenni responded very quickly and was able to help look after our boy for a few hours. He was very happy with her and enjoyed his day. Thank you so much, we will definitely be booking again 😊”

“Absolutely brilliant. Shay agreed to mind Barney at very short notice including pre-meet. Barney took to Shay straight away and had a great day. It is so helpful to have the reassurance that Barney is being so well looked after. Already rebooked for several more stays for Barney with Shay”

“Herbie stayed with Lei for day care and she was fantastic. From a communicated perspective, she sent lots of photos and was excellent in coming back to messages. She took Herbie for 2 walks (morning and afternoon) and he had a brilliant day playing with the other dog Lei was looking after that day. Will be sending Herbie there again!”

“Fern was great, very flexible with times and responded straight away to my request. On the day Fern sent photos of Nero throughout the day and especially after i had just left him which put me at ease straight away. From all the photos i recieved i could tell he definately had a lovely day. He has come home and curled up in his bed for a nap so i can tell he has had lots of fun. Thank you so much for having him Fern.”

About: I know everyone says this but we really love dogs and having had challenges finding suitable care for our own dog wanted to offer our home to others. We like to think of ourselves as offering your dog a holiday while you enjoy yours. Our Vizsla, Ivy, has given us four years of fun, challenges and far too many face licks. She loves company so taking in new pooches is as good for her as it is for us. We offer a spacious home and garden with daily walks, enrichment activities, access to the furniture and plenty of cuddles. We will adapt to your preferences and try and keep whatever routine or habits are unique to them - after all this is meant to be fun for them too! We are happy to consider dogs who may need additional help. Ivy suffers from separation anxiety so alone time is rare and she also requires daily medication. We know it can therefore be an additional struggle finding that home from home which we can offer. We have experience of medium to large breed’s primarily but happy to consider smaller companions. Our household consists of myself, my wife, our toddler, Ivy and a cat. We do like to meet out borders before confirming a stay just to ensure the dynamics suit. We have flexible work schedules so primarily one of us is always working from home. We are out at least once per day with Ivy and therefore find an additional dog fits in seamlessly with our routine. We like to do a pre meet to make sure the environment suits your dogs needs. We treat every doggy visitor as if it’s our own, and yes that does mean they can sleep on the bed.

“Ellie was amazing with my dog Koda, he’s a very energetic boy but can be nervous around men which Ellie was very understanding about. He looked like he had a great day and came home very relaxed and tired out. Thanks Ellie!!”

“Will and Sam were great with woody my 2 year old chocolate lab. I was anxious as woody had never stayed with anyone before. They kept me updated throughout the day he eventually settled and was very well cared for.”

“Amy looked after our little girl whist we went to a movie and had a date day. Molly had a great time and Amy took great care of her. It was our 2nd time using Amy and we will be back! Thanks Amy”

About: Hi my name is Maddie I’ve been around different animals and had many pets growing up. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs and cats who need a little extra support. My first job was working in a local cat rescue and cattery so I gained a lot of experience there and that really helped develop my love of looking after and caring for animals. I’ve raised three dogs from puppies, and also I have cared for my senior dog who had several medical needs, and I’m confident giving medication when required to both dogs and cats. I also have house sitting experience, looking after several dogs and cats while ensuring they felt safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My priority is to provide the same love, care, and attention your pets are used to, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work full time from home and am available to work anywhere remotely. I can do weekend boardings as well. I am unavailable Wednesdays but other than that I am fully available and flexible to meet your needs. I am fully insured and can send over proof if needed. I live with my boyfriend in a large house which has a small fenced back garden. I live within seconds of a big park where I can take your dogs for a walk and for whatever their exercise needs may be. I love all animals big and small and I am confident lead walking all types of dogs. I like to offer a home from home service so am flexible with your requirements. Pet Sitting & Boarding – When I’m in your home, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine closely: feeding, walks, play, medication, and any special care they need. If they’re staying with me, they’ll enjoy plenty of love, attention, and comfort in a relaxed home setting, whilst keeping to their typical routine. I can send daily updates and send photos/videos as much as you would like. My most important goal is to ensure your pets happiness but also ensuring you are updated frequently so you can rest assured your pet is getting the best care possible.

About: I grew up in a multi-dog household and have owned dogs for 12 years. Your dog will stay with me and my 3-year-old dog, Mia, who is sociable, confident, and loves making new friends! I previously cared for a senior dog with kidney disease, so I have experience with medical needs, administering medication, and managing special feeding plans. I have also got a lot of experience in using positive reinforcement training methods, from attending many puppy classes and behaviouralist sessions with my current dog Mia. I’ve worked with small and medium breeds (terriers, spaniels, and mixed breeds). We also have a shy cat who has her own secure room away from the dogs for peace and quiet. For her safety, I can only host cat-friendly dogs. I’m a certified crazy dog lady, and my life revolves around keeping my dog happy! I’m a self-employed pottery teacher, and my dog comes to my dog-friendly studio, where your dog will get plenty of love from my students! Depending on my schedule, your dog may join me at work or stay home and play with Mia. We have a calm, quiet household with slow mornings (if Mia allows!) and enjoy local walks. We rarely leave dogs alone, so your dog will likely be with me and my partner most of the time. We do three walks a day—a longer morning walk and two shorter, sniffy ones in the afternoon and evening. During the day, we mix in play, training, or sniffing games to keep dogs happy, and they can relax on one of our many dog beds or comfy sofas. I have a secure small fenced garden patio with dog safe plants for doggies to sunbathe on. Each wall / fence is 4' high and the gate is padlocked for security, with a wifi security camera facing it. Dogs will always be supervised outside for safety and security reasons. We have stair gates for certain areas of the house (to keep the cat safe / bedroom clean from our puppy!) Dogs can sit on furniture and sleep on the bed if they wish. We have an extremely dog friendly house with wooden floors for easy cleanup should we have any accidents.

“Lauren if I could give you more stars I would! You were amazing with George and have complete trust in you, loved the updates and photos and could see how much George loved being with you!”

About: Since I was a teenager I've been taking care of my grandparents cocker spaniel Alfie for up to a week at at time, and some weekends. Recently I've bought a house and now have a 9 month old puppy of my own called Enzo. Raising him has given me experience with puppies, as well as the knowledge I had from caring for Alfie. Between the two of them they've thrown every hurdle at me so I feel well prepared to look after your dog too. It can be difficult organising last minute care, which is why I offer same-day requests and more than happy to pick up if needed. I'm available for boarding most weekends as we are in with our own pup anyway. As I work from home on Fridays and Mondays I can look after your pup both Friday and Sunday night so that's no worry. We have a large fenced garden (which Enzo loves sniffing around) and I have a spare dog crate in case your dog needs crating overnight and you have forgotten one. Enzo is crate trained but if your pup is okay sleeping in a bed/sofa in the living room that is fine too.

About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs I really miss having my own. I have 3 children and my boys love to help walk, play & care for dogs too. I am a keen runner so I have come back on Rover to offer a dog running service for those dogs that need more than a walk round the block. I run most evenings and from September will be able to offer a running dog service in the daytime too, I run upto 15k weekdays and longer runs on a Sunday. Being a full time mum I feel I can offer boarding anytime. Now the children are back to school I can offer walking services anytime throughout the week after 9 am. I have a lovely fenced garden front and back so lots of space and security for your dog. I live by a lovely park with lots of field space but love going on more adventurous walks too.

They are friendly, calm & gentle people with an empathetic and caring nature who will no doubt put your dog at ease if they stay or if they are being taken for a walk.
