“Vicky is amazing with my little pup! Benji stays with Vicki 3 times a week so he’s not on his own so much and he absolutely loves it!!! She sends pictures throughout the day to keep your mind and ease and just overall provides the best service!! I 100% recommend to everyone 🥰🥰”

“Anindita took wonderful care of our Indie whilst we took our son to the aquarium. We’d not ever left Indie with anyone else before, except family, so we were feeling slightly apprehensive about it. But as soon as we arrived Anindita made a big fuss of Indie and reassured us she’d be fine, and she was! We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again if we were back in Plymouth.”

About: My name is Daryl, I've been a dog lover since I was a small child when my father's friend's dog gave birth to a litter of puppies that I absolutely fell in love with. Since then my family has had five dogs (as well as many other animals) of various shapes and sizes, some of which can be seen in my photos. Throughout my teenage years I was the main dog walker in the house so have been walking and caring for dogs for 20+ years! I recently adopted Cooper, a 4(ish) year old German Shepherd cross who has quickly taken over my life - we go for long (2.5 mile minimum) walks every day and would love to have some extra company. I work from home full time so your dog would never be left alone and would be given plenty of attention, not to mention regular toilet breaks in my walled garden/yard. I work from home full time Monday to Friday so am always available during the week for anything from a couple of hours to a full day! I have a walled yard with a lockable gate that your dog will have full access to. My dog Cooper will be here to keep yours company - he's a big lad but super friendly and not at all territorial, he just loves to play. Dogs are welcome to get on the furniture and make themselves at home, I'm not precious. I can feed your dog if requested, all food and treats are grain free.

“My dog enjoyed a very chilled Sunday with Jake. Lots of picture updates, Bella has been looked after by Jake and Nicola for some time now so I know she is comfortable and settled when I leave her.”

About: We have had Milo for 8 years and regularly look after my best friends bedlington whippet. We will treat your dog like our own with lots of love. Joel works from home full time so is very flexible. I've just graduated from vet school, but don't start working until mid September, so I am around all day during the summer. We are very relaxed and will allow the dogs to be on the sofa and bed. We have a fenced garden and can let the dogs out as often as you would like us to. We would never leave your dog alone. Milo has lots of food allergies so we are very sensible and don’t leave food lying around etc.

“Tegan was absolutely amazing! She responded quickly to messages and we met in the park to see how she and Tala would get on. They took to each other immediately and I was confident that Tala would be in good hands. This was my first time of leaving Tala with anyone other than family so I was a bit anxious about it but needn't have worried - Tala had a fabulous time! Tegan had her 3 days in a row and when I dropped her off on the second day, she happily ran into Tegan's house, wagging her tail :-) I work long shifts so Tegan had Tala all day long and Tala was always happy and relaxed when I picked her up. She had plenty of walks and cuddles and I suspect she wouldn't mind moving in with Tegan permanently!”

“Amber did an amazing job looking after my pup, always kept me updated with photos and videos, kept him busy and she had her two dogs that my pup played with, would 100% book her again, willing to help train your pups, shes a superstar!”

“Tom was an absolute star looking after Elvis for us at short notice. Updates and info was great as was communication. Tom was ever so flexible which was ever so much appreciated. Elvis clearly had a great time and qwas excited to return to Tom the next day. We will definitely go to Tom again if we're back in town.”

About: Growing up, my family had a large German Shepherd named Chico who I absolutely adored and would spend large amounts of time playing with. This is where my love for big dogs began. After moving from my parents, I was unable to get my own dog due to not finding suitable accommodation. However, I managed to get many hours of caring for my nieces boarder collie in. Reggie, the collie in question, was my first experience with a reactive dog. After months of doing my own research and training Reggie (and my niece) we saw some real progress in his behaviour. Fast forward a year and I was training my own, very large, very reactive Catahoula/Labrador. Training such a large, powerful dog and working alongside an incredibly skilled dog trainer taught me so much and helped me build my confidence with dogs that needed a little more patience and work. Because of these experiences, I am more than happy to work alongside pets that others may not be. I would be offering more than just a walking/sitting service and am happy to use my knowledge to help owners train their pets if desired. Please send me a message for my availability as I work shifts but am happy to move things about when I can. I will always want to meet a dog before sitting/walking then to ensure we are the right fit for one another! My care for your pet will always vary greatly depending on their own needs and personality. I will always ask to meet the pet and owner first to discuss any care requirements they have and to make sure we are a good for for one another

“Liam was great with my dog. I couldn't do a pre visit due to living so far away. Kobe is nervous with strangers but Liam handled him great, felt so comfortable leaving him. When I came to collect him he hadn’t seen me through the window and I could see how settled he was. Highly recommend ☺️”

About: Both Harriet and I have grown up surrounded by dogs and today we are proud owners of two much-loved companions: our playful Collie Pablo and our affectionate Dalmatian Domino. With one male and one female, we have gained valuable hands-on experience in understanding the different behavioural needs and temperaments of both sexes, and we are confident in managing all the joys and challenges that come with each. What truly sets us apart is the life we have built around our dogs. We walk them multiple times a day, rain or shine, always prioritising their health, happiness, and stimulation. Whether it is scenic routes around Plymouth or adventurous hikes through the Highlands and Welsh mountains during our holidays, their wellbeing shapes our daily routine. We would love nothing more than to offer that same standard of care to your dog. Your pet will stay in a warm, safe home environment with their own comfortable bedroom, complete with personalised feeding and sleeping arrangements and regular access to a secure garden. If you prefer your dog to use a crate or specific setup, we are more than happy to accommodate this based on your instructions. Our approach is tailored to your dog’s needs. If they are sociable, they are welcome to enjoy the house and play alongside our dogs. If they prefer a quieter space, we can keep them relaxed in their room with frequent toilet breaks, enrichment activities, and walks suited to your preferences. In addition to our experience and commitment, I am a former Royal Marines Commando, trained to operate with discipline, care, and responsibility under pressure. I also hold a full DBS check, offering added peace of mind for you and your family. We do not simply look after dogs. We welcome them as part of our family. Nothing makes us happier than seeing tails wag, and we would be absolutely delighted to care for your dog with the same love and attention we give our own. Pet care is a central part of our daily life. Harriet works from home full time, and Robert works remotely two days a week, which means that every day, there is always someone at home to care for the dogs. On weekends, we are both available and fully dedicated to spending time with them. When we are looking after dogs, they become our main priority. We adjust our schedules as needed to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and comfort throughout the day. Whether it is walks, playtime, feeding, or rest, your dog will be well cared for in a calm and attentive home environment. We understand that leaving your dog in someone else’s care requires real trust, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Your dog will be staying in a calm, clean, and secure home where their comfort and safety come first. Each dog has their own private bedroom with dedicated sleeping and feeding arrangements to ensure a familiar, stress-free environment. They will have regular access to our secure garden for toilet breaks and fresh air. If they are sociable and enjoy the company of other dogs, they are welcome to roam the house freely and interact with our own two friendly dogs, Pablo and Domino. If they prefer their own space, we will follow your preferences to keep them settled and content. We closely supervise all interactions and tailor our care to each dog’s temperament, energy level, and routine. Whether your dog needs quiet time, structured walks, or enrichment play, we adapt to ensure they feel safe, happy, and truly at home.

“Bridget was fabulous throughout! We were visiting Plymouth for a family funeral so didn’t really know what to expect. We had several communications before our dogs stayed, which put our minds at rest. Bridget was quick to respond to messages and keen to help. She also gave us regular updates and videos through the day. We couldn’t have asked for better care. I would thoroughly recommend Bridget and will definitely book again when we’re down in Plymouth. Thank you from Izzy and Jet too 🦮🐕🦺🐾”

About: I have had pets in my home since I was 2 and have been looking after my own pets since I was 11, since I was 17, I have been walking and caring for local families' pets when they have been away, day sitting and the occassional overnight stay. I have dealt with all ages of dogs, from puppies through to my own very senior (19 y.o.) deaf and blind dog, with a range of behaviours from docile, through "ordinary" to a manic ball of energy. i’m currently working part time and have time off everyday to care for your pets from 2pm onwards. my partner will also be in the home and is currently on leave from work so he will be able to care for your pets 24/7. i have a fenced in patio space but many open green spaces nearby. we have a good amount of sun in to the patio and home so if your pets like to lounge around they will love it. My home has a fenced in sunny patio area which is cleaned and disinfected regularly, the surrounding area has large green spaces so whether your dog likes to lie in the sun and/or scamper through the park, both environments are within easy reach.

About: As a dog parent myself, I understand the emotional and physical needs of pets at every stage of life. I’ve helped care for my own dog from puppyhood to adulthood, so I’m comfortable with training basics like leash walking, house routines, and positive reinforcement. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and well-attended to with gentleness and patience. Being a remote worker also gives me the flexibility to provide consistent presence and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own — with kindness, calm energy, and lots of affection. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own space or in their familiar home environment, my focus is always on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free atmosphere. I follow the pet’s regular routine closely — including feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any special care instructions — to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. In a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of the space and keep things clean and tidy, just as I would in my own home. I send regular updates and photos to give peace of mind, so owners know their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give to my own dog.

“Jamie gave Otto a fabulous day - he’s only 5 months but was very happy to be left especially with Rosco to welcome him into the house so enthusiastically! Otto got walked, met the cats and even played with the ferrets- which I couldn’t believe! Jamie kept me well informed all day. Otto came home tired but relaxed.”

“Tamsin was absolutely lovely with Rhubarb! She was so kind and thoughtful—she even bought some special treats for Rhubarb to enjoy during her stay, which was such a sweet touch. Rhubarb clearly had a great time and especially loved playing with one of the toys there, and to my surprise, Tamsin let her bring it home just because she enjoyed it so much! It was such a kind gesture and really showed how much she cares. Rhubarb came home happy, content, and clearly very well looked after. Tamsin was great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much!”

About: Loving animals is a characteristic that is second nature to me, coming from a family that owned a basset hound farm I have always been surrounded my animals and see it as a passion of mine. Every single animal is unique and deserving of care on an individual basis, I’ve learn this through my experience of carer for animals, both my own and others. Every pet should be loved and protected, I feel I can provide that for your pet and provide them with a secure an reliable friend when they need it. I am especially fond of larger dogs as these are the breeds I have has most experienced with, however I believe every animals is special and has a unique personality of their own.

Daryl S.
“I’m happy to recommend Darryl, for any dog sitting job. He’s been taking care of my springer spaniel at least once a year when I go on holiday, and he’s always done a fantastic job. Darryl is a genuine dog lover and really gets along well with my pup. He makes sure she gets plenty of exercise and attention, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about her well-being. I never have to worry when Darryl’s in charge because I know he’s reliable and trustworthy. If you’re looking for someone who’s great with dogs and will take excellent care of them, Darryl’s your guy. I couldn’t recommend him more.”

Sara B.
“Sara is a patient and dedicated animal lover. She works hard to ensure dogs are having their personal needs met and will go above and beyond to help any animal out. I've seen the learning curve in her working with increasingly difficult dogs and watched her figure out how to tackle any problems that come here way. She helped me in loose leash walking for my Collie, who would tug on the leash so hard it would choke him. It was a bit of trial and error, but after a couple of months I can confidently walk my dog with a coffee in hand and not have to worry about him yanking me over!”

“Mia came to look after three dogs and was punctual, polite and listened to the needs of each dog, taking notes which was a comfort, as one, Frigg, is a handful at the best of times. She made sure that all three were exercised, medicated and cared for. She followed all the rules for the dogs when they are in the house, crating and not on furniture until they are washed etc, and all the house rules when she stayed overnight with them. It was a pity when we moved away as I think the three of them missed their friend.”
