About: I started out by walking dogs for my neighbours after school, about 22 years ago. I was paid £1 per week, which increased to £2 eventually! For the last 10 years, I have been providing reliable pet care for dogs and cats of different sizes and breeds. My priority is not only in guaranteeing the necessary nurturing for a pet but also building a strong emotional bond with them and ensuring safety. I have been a cat owner for most of my life. My animals are so loved and cared for, and yours will be too. I believe quality pet care is a combination of comprehensive essential care, safe environment and building a strong emotional bond, where pets feel loved and secure. I am available to house sitting, walks and visits. I can take lots of walks in the day with your dog, play games, work on commands, stick to schedules if needed. I can be available 7 days a week and can work remotely most of the time. I also manage my own work diary so I can be flexible around your dogs schedule and needs. I may need to run our for work errands, but most of the time, pets under my nurturing are never left alone for long. While sitting your pet in your home, instructions will always be kept to. Just as much respect will be given to your home as your pet. Security of your home will be maintained. Your pet's needs will always come first.

“Stepped in last minute so I could go to Poole with husband on a last minute work trip. She and her son took wonderful care of Angel and our home. Never worry when Eloise is taking care of Angel.”

“I’ve been looking for a regular sitter for my dog for a little while and I just could not be happier to have found Wendy! She’s brilliant… Communicative, fun, experienced, I knew as soon as I met her that my boy was going to be in super-capable hands and would have the best time. And he did! Wendy went the extra mile to meet with us, and understand his needs and has been so generous in every way. We can’t wait to have her back. Thank you Wendy!”

“We booked Nicholas last minute to look after our 4 month old puppy when our usual sitter was ill. Nick was quick to respond to messages, arrived on time and sent us lots of photos of Loki through the evening despite the fact we were only gone for 5 hours. Would definitely book again. Thanks Nick!”

“We are very pleased with the service provided by Sophie. She initially took tommy for a walk so that she could meet us and get to know Tommy, our poodle. Then a couple of days later, Sophie looked after Tommy at our house while we were out for seven hours. Sophie responded quickly to our messages while we were organising the dog sitting, She is very reliable, arriving at the agreed time for both appointments. Sophie listened carefully to all the information we gave her about Tommy and our house, so we felt confident leaving her in charge. We will definitely ask Sophie to look after Tommy again.”

About: I've looked after my mother-in-law's dog on and off for the last 15 years. Mitsy was a joy to have around the house. She was very playful and enjoyed going for short walks daily I am currently unemployed after working as a PA for the last 30 years. I've always enjoyed looking after dogs and now want to make it my job going forward I have a fenced garden and plenty of space to play in the garden. I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa and sleep on our bed

“Ariana was a fantastic sitter for our little pup. She was quick to respond, communicative, open and forthcoming. She obviously is well experienced with difficult dogs so could easily handle our little one with some reactivity to other dogs when walking. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: In my family home we have a Black Labrador that is 9 years old in which I have helped to look after her when my parents have been working full time, which has been a lot in the last few years. I also have looked after several other dogs for people down my road where I live at home when I am not at University. I have experienced looking after people’s cats too and would be more than happy to care for them too. I am currently studying at Bournemouth University, however I am taking a year out to do a placement year after May when I finish University, so I will be in my home town and can accept a lot more bookings on weekend and in the afternoons during the week. In my house at home, I have a spacious, fenced garden. I care for my dog, Elsa in my home by regularly giving her attention and letting her out into the garden to roam, and also on long walks around the big spacious fields we live near by.

“We were very pleased and fortunate to have Holly as our cat sitter. She is very caring and looked after our cat Billy very well. Hopefully, we will continue to call on her excellent service in the future.”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs throughout my life, but more recently I’ve had 2 French bulldogs who were my absolute world. Unfortunately my baby boy Lenny became ill recently and I had to make the toughest decision to say goodbye to my beloved baby. He is now dancing in the sky with his big brother Ralphy ❤️. Since he’s been gone, life just hasn’t been the same and I miss those daily sloppy kisses and cuddles that bring me so much joy. Although I am not quite ready to get a pup of my own just yet, I would like the share the love I had for my boy Lenny with your fury companions. Creating a home away from home experience, cuddles and kisses included for free! I know how difficult it can be leaving your pet to go on holiday but please expect regular pup dates, blissful country side walks and maybe a cheeky roast on Sunday with your permission of course! I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and offer them a calming, fun and blissful retreat whilst mummy and daddy are away. I am currently expected to go into the office 2 days a week and I work from home the other days (Mon - Fri). The days I go in are flexible so I can pick these which are best suited to your requirements. I live in a secure, gated ground floor flat with private access to a fenced outdoor decking area. I also have access to a larger communal, gated front area and all 3 of my neighbours are dog lovers. My fur baby used to sleep in my bed with me so I am happy to offer this, or if crate trained this can also be adhered too. I believe pet hair on the sofa adds character and can always be hoovered up so they are more than welcome to make themselves at home! 🥰

About: I have had animals my whole life through owning cats, dogs, and hamsters. I’ve grown up with big dogs so I will not be daunted by any size. I have looked after puppies training to be guide dogs and attended dog agility sessions before. I also have worked in care homes and with children so I can handle pretty much anything. I have experience cat sitting for my neighbours when I was in college. I also currently have a dog and hamster at home and live with friends who own a cat. I’m currently a full-time student and athlete however, I have days off Thursday-Sunday which gives me plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I will probably spoil them a bit too much with attention but having a furry friend is such a good stress reliever which I need as I finish my final year at University. I also play rugby competitively so I am very active and don’t mind walking in the rain or dealing with mud!! I am more than confident handling animals of all sizes and can read signs of sensitivity or unease. If your dog is food motivated then I’ll always have treats on hand to keep them safe and close and maybe teach them a few tricks if you’d like. My current dog is scared of cellotape so I understand pets can have peculiar quirks which need extra attention and caution. Regarding walks, I know how scary it is to see a stranger’s dog off the lead so I always shout ahead to check if their dog is friendly before releasing mine from command. I also am aware of specific house rules involving crate training, off the sofa, garden areas off limits etc and I will work hard to keep the cheeky pets in line.

About: I've always had dogs growing up and now luckily have the space in my home and garden to have dogs to keep me company as I work from home full time. I love long walks and often on the common so would be great to have dogs to join me! I encourage good behaviour, crate training when needed and most of all a lot of fun throwing a ball! I'll love and care for your dogs whilst their with me and very happy to send updates and photos whilst they're in my care. I'd really love our own dog one day, but for now I'm more than happy taking care of yours when you need an extra hand and a loving home for them to be safe and have fun in. I have 3 young kids who also adore dogs so the dogs would need to be able to be around them/not feel threatened by them. I'm fully insured with public liability insurance. I work from home full time, live next to the gorgeous woods of Bookham common and Norbury Park and have a large well fenced garden. I can do day time or overnight care Very well fenced and safe garden, no poisonous plants that could harm a dog or child. I have a large open plan living/kitchen with plenty of space for crates/dog beds etc.

About: I have lived with animals throughout all my 28 years of life, with both dogs, cats and other small furries - and my love for animals led me to fulfill a career in animal care! I started my veterinary career in 2016 as a kennel assistant at a vets, and then went on to train to gain a veterinary care assistant qualification to become a veterinary assistant in 2018, and then trained to become a fully qualified veterinary nurse for 3 years which I completed and gained my nursing registration in 2021. I continued my nursing career for another 2 years before starting my journey as an animal sitter and artist! Being self-employed as an artist and pet sitter allows me to care for and cuddle your sweet babies round the clock as I work from home 🏡 I have a multitude of experience caring for all pet animals of all ages, and have the ability and experience in giving medications whether injections, tablets or topicals, and also in handling and caring for more nervous/shy animals. I love all animals and can't wait to meet them! I work part-time from home which means I can be with your babies round the clock 24/7 on most days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays)! The days where I may potentially be in the studio are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays which if this is the case is only from 11am until 2pm, and with the ability for them (dogs) to come to the studio with me I have a lot of experience with all kinds of pet animals, and they will always have company with me. My garden is fenced in, so dogs can have safe playtime outside however I will also always be with them

Jenna D.Star Sitter
“Jenna is a very caring loving individual who adores dogs. She recently lost her own fur baby, Lenny, who she had had since he was a tiny pup Lenny had the best life. Jenna ensured he was walked, loved and he was part of the family. Jenna has looked after other dogs for friend and family and would be an excellent choice for my one who need their pet to be looked after.”

Lauryn W.
“Lauryn has grown up with medium/large dogs, hence has experience and good knowledge of what they need. We have left her in charge of our dog on numerous occasions, without hesitation. Lauryn is both reliable and dependable and is just what your dog needs & wants. She knows dog etiquette and once established is often found choosing to sit on the floor & cuddling/playing with them. Over the years, we have also looked after various neighbours dogs, friends dogs and more recently canine partners dogs - Lauryn has been involved in all of these and hence had experience with small dogs, puppies, and dogs in training. Overall, Lauryn is an excellent choice for your best friend.”
