About: I have had dogs continuously for 30 years, at all stages of life. - raised and trained four puppies, so I am happy to continue or implement any training you want. Also happy to get up in the night for toileting if necessary. - I’m fit and love exploring new areas, so happy to take dogs on nice long walks. I also have a good throwing arm for dogs obsessed with balls. - I’m patient and happy to take my time with senior/nervous/special needs pets. My philosophy is that bites and scratches are my fault for not doing something the way your pet wants it done. I love all animals equally, and have had the privilege to care for several cats, too :) I am self-employed and work from home, so I am very flexible with how/when I do my work. Basically, I work around a pet’s routine! I understand how important routine can be, especially when change occurs (such as you going away and/or meeting a new person!) so I will do my utmost to maintain those routines. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your baby with someone you don’t know, so I’m happy to come meet you first if feasible, or at the very least do a video call. Don’t worry if your instructions are 10 pages long - I’ve had sitters too, I get it :)

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have six wonderful pups back home who I miss every single day while I’m away studying. Being a student without them isn’t easy, but BorrowMyDoggy has been such a lovely way to stay connected to the dog-filled life I love. I’ve used it to walk, play with, and care for all kinds of dogs, each one filling that dog-shaped space in my heart. From playful puppies to sweet seniors, I’ve helped with everything from walks and cuddles to grooming, feeding, medication, and training. About: I have joined Rover as I miss my family pets back home! Before moving to London I looked after my two family dogs, a German shepherd (Jake) and a border collie/German shepherd mix (Janet). They are very energetic and loving dogs. They like to just sit under the lemon trees in the backyard and go on long walks around the park. We first fostered them as puppies so I am comfortable with both younger and older dogs. I am happy to meet you and your pet prior to any walking arrangements to establish open communication, disclose any concerns, set goals, and answer any questions you may have. I currently work full-time. I am available for most of the week as I WFH half of the time. I try to sync up my daily breaks with the pet I am caring for (usually about every 2-3 hours). I try to care for the pets as they are my own. I make sure that there aren’t any potentially harmful objects around the apartment and that all doors and windows remain closed.

About: I actually started off caring for giant dogs from 5 years-old and worked my way through a myriad of both species and sizes over my childhood; by adolescence I came to realise that I just love animals, in all the infinite differences and peculiarities. But between you and me, I am particularly fond of dogs and cats. I typically work from home as a composer so disturbances are to a minimum as far as I am aware. Also, no need to fret - all ordinarily loud instruments are headphone jack-friendly. My house is gated with a respectably sized fenced back garden with the beautiful Queens Park in the immediate vicinity. There are a surplus of wonderful locations and other areas for walks around my location too.

About: Ive owned a dog since I was 7 years old and before then I was always known as the neighborhood dog walker. I have now been sitting through Rover for about 3 years and have kept consistent clients since then. I have taken every opportunity i could throughout my life to spend more time around animals whether it was through dog sitting or walking the pets of others or just spending any free moment I had with my own dog. In addition to my personal pets I have also held multiple jobs where my primary respobsibilty was the care of animals. I was head volunteer and stable hand at a horse stable. I also volunteered at the Boulder Humane society for 7 years before I moved away to college. In this position I spent my afternoons cleaning, walking, feeding, playing with and just giving general love and care to the dogs of the humane society. I am starting my masters at UCL in the fall and I have a lot of free time on my hands until then. I would love to dedicate this free time and energy I have to giving your pets a vacation at home while you have a vacation away! I will ensure they never feel alone or get bored :). When caring for your pet at your own home I make sure to leave the space just as I found it if not better. I will fit into whatever schedule you prefer or have set for your pet and will comply with any request you have for specific care since I understand each pet is completely different and will need care specified to them. I want this to be the most stress free experience possible for both you and your pets and I will make sure to send you lots of pictures so you don’t miss them too much!

About: I began sitting dogs when I rescued my own, Polly, in a small Colombian town when she was just three months old. She’s now four years old, calm, well-trained, and incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. In my family, dogs are part of everyday life—my sisters have a schnauzer, a husky, and a border collie, my brother has a cocker spaniel, and my mother also has a cocker. I’ve had the joy of caring for each of them at different times, and they all get along beautifully with Polly. Because Polly is so gentle, she naturally helps other dogs settle in, especially those with separation anxiety. Beyond my family, I’ve also looked after my partner’s sister’s dogs—a Boston terrier and a large 40 kg mixed breed—and several dogs from the friendly pet community I’ve joined since moving to the UK a year ago. One of Polly’s closest friends here is a nine-year-old Boston terrier, who I’ve cared for during longer stays of 10 and 12 days. No matter the breed, size, or personality, I adapt to their needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Since completing my master’s degree, I work remotely from home, which means I can give dogs full-time attention. My days are already built around Polly’s care—we go for three walks daily, including time for play, sniffing, and exploring new routes. Having this routine makes it easy to welcome other dogs into our schedule without disrupting their needs. Because I’m home throughout the day, I can stick to your dog’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, and play sessions. I also prepare Polly’s BARF meals every two weeks, so I’m used to following precise feeding instructions, whether for raw diets, cooked meals, or kibble. With my flexible hours, I can accommodate early morning drop-offs, late pick-ups, or special routines, making your pet’s time with me stress-free for both you and them. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly studio flat with Polly. Although it’s a studio, it has plenty of room for dogs to move around, and a large, secure, fully fenced balcony where they can enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and people-watching. Polly loves lying out there, and visiting dogs often join her for a peaceful rest. When caring for dogs in my home, I make sure the space is safe, tidy, and free from hazards. I respect each owner’s preferences for feeding, exercise, and sleeping arrangements, and I’m attentive to special needs such as medication or anxiety management. I treat every dog as if they were my own—ensuring they feel secure, happy, and loved from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home.

About: Reliable and caring pet lover! I’ve looked after friends’ dogs while they traveled, making sure they got walks, meals, and lots of love. I’ll treat your furry friend like my own (I’ve grown up with a cat and dog)! I work M-F so I’m most available and flexible on the weekends. I can be available on some weekday evenings but I would need advanced notice to plan around it. The priority is about keeping your pets safe, happy, and on a familiar routine while respecting your home space so happy to understand more about your preferences!

About: I have owned cats my whole life but also love dogs! I have a lot of experience feeding neighbours cats, dog/housesitting and dog walking. About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and I used to live in Spain before coming here. Here in London I have taken care of two of my friends' cats and the dog of a third friend when they have gone on holidays. I have stayed at their houses as is easier for the pet to feel safe and at ease, I have made sure that they are feed, change the cats sand and taken the dog on walks and to the park to play. I am currently working but 6 hours per day, 5 days. I am always free one day per week, most evenings, and Sundays whole day. First of all I make sure to follow all the instructions that the owner gives me. I keep an eye in anything they can eat.
