“Sophie is the most wonderful dog sitter. She looked after our elderly dog Willow for a few days while we visited our new baby granddaughter in Sweden. We felt very confident that we had left Willow in good hands and we were absolutely right. He is almost 15 and has a bit of dementia which can be challenging to cope with, but Sophie handled everything brilliantly and in a fuss-free way. We cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We were so happy leaving our home and pets in Rose’s safe hands. She looked after our pets lovingly and kept us well updated with pics, videos and messages. We had been so happy with the care she had given, and then it was a lovely surprise to come home to find the place immaculate! We would definitely ask Rose to house/pet sit again for us. Thank you, Rose!”

“We are so pleased we found Alison. Thank you so much for the excellent care you gave to Roxie, our very senior labrador (15yrs!). “This was the first time Laura looked after my two girls and she came to meet them ahead of the actual day. Laura was very calm and confident with them both, Nellie is a very strong girl and Laura managed her on the lead really well. During the sitting Laura sent me some lovely pictures and a video of the girls playing. They were really calm and relaxed when I got home, they really took to Laura and had clearly had a fun day. I feel very confident leaving my girls in her care. Thank you.”

I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs so I can provide personalized attention and affection.

“Amelia is an absolute star! She arranged to come over and meet Dolly before looking after her, and remained in touch throughout the stay. It really put me at ease knowing that Amelia was at home, and Dolly absolutely loved playtime with her! I would definitely recommend Amelia for your pet-sitting needs, and will use her again! :)”

“Always a worry to hand your furry friends over to someone you don’t really know, let a know stay in your house. Jasmine was kind enough to come for a trial one night stay ,before our week’s holiday in June. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, they have mostly been rescues and larger to middle dog breeds. I am confident and calm around dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I also have a little experience with cats and small dog breeds which have mostly been family pets. I have some experience in basic training and I can connect well with dogs who need that little bit of extra time, attention and patience. I have this experience because my family dog who's 13 has Cushing's disease and has issues with her back legs. I have a lot of experience with German Shepard's (my old girl is a German Shepard cross) and Collie's, but I would love to expand my experience with other dog breeds and also cats ☺️ I am currently on summer break for university so my schedule if currently very open and flexible. I spend most of my time reading, walking, or going to the gym which means that I will be able to give your fur baby/babies plenty of time and attention they need. I'm available for walks and/or pop-ins most weekdays and weekends, including short notice bookings. However, my schedule will change a bit once university starts back up but it won't change drastically. I'm happy to follow your pet's usual routine, do a bit of training with them if needed, use crates if needed/requested. I will also provide you with regular updates and pictures so that you can feel relaxed, confident and connected while you are away. I hold a full, clean driving license just in case of any emergencies or vet visits.

“Jasmine and Nick are absolutely lovely. We were doing a test run with our sensitive Chihuahua Ponte so he gets used to them for their house sitting here for 2 days next week. I would highly recommend them ,they are very intuiative to the animals needs. They enjoyed cuddles with our cat Gulliver and let Ponte just chill and get used to them being around.”

“Jo was amazing. We were holidaying local and needed a sitter for two days for 4 dogs with more requirements than is acceptable 😂. Jo was super calm and gentle with all the dogs, listening to and following their requirements, and they clearly all loved her! It was really lovely to know they were all being so well looked after and took a huge stress off us for those days. Reccomend Jo, and would 100% rebook if we were back in the area. Huge thanks!”

“Lisa was amazing with Goose and our two cats. She was punctual, great communication and kind and caring with the animals and the house. I hope Lisa can look after the animals again. Thanks so much Lisa.”

“Hilary has been fantastic once again. Our dog is not the easiest due to his fear of other dogs but Hilary is brilliant with him. He is so pleased to see her when she arrives :)”

About: I have cared for many different animals growing up, from dogs, cats, and bunnies, to hamsters, rats, birds, and currently tortoises. I have also helped my Grandfather hand-rear calf's when separated from their mothers, as well as helping birth them when necessary. I have lots of knowledge about caring for many different animals, as well as being trusted to care for housemates' pets, neighbours' pets, and family pets. I adopted my very own kitten in 2018 and he is thriving, and have had 7 pet rats of my own across the course of 5 years. I am also no stranger to cleaning up after animals, as this is something I have been doing ever since owning them. Furthermore, I was an active member on BorrowMyDoggy, and walked plenty of dogs whilst being on the site. I have recently finished a college diploma in social science and I am due to begin University in September to study Forensic Psychology. Until then, I am doing my best to fill my summer with paid work that fits me and my passions. I am available 24/7, excluding the odd day for anomaly appointments and such. As summer is creeping up on us, I am sure many of you will require sitters for your pets whilst you are on your beautiful holidays, which I would be grateful to do for you. I cannot reside pets in my current home due to house sharing; however, should you choose me to care for your animals in your own homes, I will follow strict regimes if necessary (such as gates, crates, no pets on sofa's or in certain rooms). For animals such as tortoises, I understand fresh water and roughly 2 hours of heat lamp per day is needed (unless otherwise is specified).

About: I've had 2 cats now for the last 3-4 years and working from home have looked after them. Additionally I have looked after a small puppy when it's owners were away in the past and my parents have a dog that I have looked after/taken for walks etc. With 2 cats I have to make sure they are fed daily, along with ensuring they are well groomed, are up to date on their treatments and they litter is clean. Ensuring they have everything they need e.g. food/water/clean litter. Making sure they get play time and rubs if they want them and ensuring their eating/litter areas are clean.

“We loved having Sylvia to take care of our dogs! She was extremely communicative and took them out up to three times a day and sent through daily photos. Our dogs can be a handful and Sylvia did an amazing job looking after them for the four days we were away and our house was left spotless! We can’t wait to have her take care of them again.”

Kirsty Georgette C.
“Kirsty looked after my boy Gus for a week and I couldn’t have asked for someone better. Gus is a very big boy (60kg Cane Corso) and needs someone who knows what they’re doing with a big territorial breed, which I had no issues entrusting Kirsty with managing this. She gave regular updates on how he was getting on and how he was, which I really appreciated. He absolutely adored her from the offset which is very unusual for him with a stranger and I could see she would look after him as he was her own. He is also on a raw diet which not everyone is clued up on or comfortable with, so it was a relief to leave him with someone confident. I 100% recommend Kirsty and will definitely be using her again.”

Kirsty L.
“Mel L Kirsty is a very responsible young lady who is calm around animals. She grew up in a household with a variety of different animals including rats 🐀 birds, chickens 🐓 dogs and cats. Nothing really fazes her and I would definitely recommend her to look after your pets. She likes spiders and snakes also. She has good time management skills and is reliable. Your fur babies would be in good hands with Kirsty looking after them.”

Scott P.Star Sitter
“Scott has 2 cats at home and is absolutely wonderful with them. He is attentive and affectionate and always puts them first. He always makes sure they have everything they need and is very intuitive to their subtle cues when they need something, or any changes in mood when something isn't quite right with them. I think he'd be great looking after other people's pets as he loves to spend time with animals, whether it's relaxing with them or playing with them, and he loves going out for walks.”
