“I was more than happy with the service provided by Meg in looking after my terrier at such short notice. The house and facilities were perfect and the regular updates put me at ease. Thank you for looking after my dog.”

About: I have lived with dogs since I was 10 years old. We are a family of dog lovers and our dogs are our babies. I am new to sitting and walking but I have my own dog who I care for and walk every day. I have lots of ideas of dog walks and also know what it is like to care for a reactive dog as my dog can be anxious around other dogs. I am currently on holiday for the summer as a primary school teacher and looking to earn some extra money pet sitting and dog walking. This could be something I do more regularly when I start working again at weekends and evenings. I cannot care for dogs in my own home due to my dog being reactive however I am willing to come to your home. I will treat your home like my own and the safety of your pet will be of paramount importance. I will always think about how I would want someone to care for my dog when caring for your pets. Our pets are our babies and our family and that is how I will care for your pets.

“I’ve waited a while to leave Nicola a review, because our girl Dolly, had extremely bad separation anxiety, so Nicola devised a plan, to help us through it. I’m being completely honest here, I really didn’t think that we’d get there. My stomach was truly in knots about our girl not being able to cope and as much as we adore and love her, the thought of us not ever being able to have any holidays or day trips, was truly upsetting and frustrating. Nicola never gave up, and was always honest and adamant, that she wanted to do everything possible to help our girl and us. After a fair few hours of having Dolly, but easing her in gently, slowly but surely, we were seeing massive improvements, each time she went. Nicola even devised another plan, for when Dolly was picked up and dropped off, I had initially been walking her up, leaving her, then walking back for her, once her session with Nicola was finished. Nicola, quite rightly decided that by doing it this way, was making Dolly realise that once I’d dropped her off, I’d be leaving, hence her separation anxiety, would begin, so after chatting to me, it was decided that Nicola would begin to fetch Dolly from ours and then bring her back, after her visit was over……….. GENIUS, it worked like a dream. We had another few Doggy Day Cares before we tried the ultimate, of Dolly getting booked in with Nicola, for a nights boarding. Our girl had her sleepover and was not fazed one little bit. She was as good as gold and Nicola even mentioned that any house noise, or noise from another Dog, did not disturb her, or bother her whatsoever. We had an extremely happy Dolly, dropped back off to us the next morning. Music to our ears!!!, and all thanks to the help and guidance from Nicola, who never faltered once and went above and beyond, to try everything possible, to help our girl and indeed us. We are so grateful and thankful that we found Nicola. Dolly adores her and has so much fun with Boots. Long May this continue, we are now confident enough to book holidays and know, that Dolly will be just fine. She will also still go for the odd Doggy Day Cares with Nicola, so we keep to a routine. Thank you so much, it’s hard to put into words how much this means to us as a family❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 years old, growing up with dogs who need special care (blind and diabetic) I can ensure your dog no matter what gets special care. I currently work from home 2 days a week so will be around plenty to take care of your pups, from morning till night ! I have a large, fenced back garden meaning plenty of space to run around and play in. I also have a miniature dachshund pup myself who loves other dogs and will be happy to keep your pup company

“Amazing skye loved her time with Tracy and family she was so happy. I got regular updates and photos and videos. It was like home from home and would definitely use Tracy again thankyou”

“We can highly recommend Becki and have just picked our border terrier up after her 8 day stay. She has obviously been well looked after and we were sent updates and photos which were really reassuring. Will definitely choose Becki again next time we go away and we can tell Bella has been relaxed and happy all week which was definitely not the case when we used kennels. Becki took on board the information we gave her about our dog not being friendly with other dogs and always walked her on a lead. She also ensured she had her medication daily for her allergies. Thank you so much x”

“My dog Charlie has just spent 5 days with Nathalie whilst I was on holiday. It's the first time he's ever stayed away from home with anyone. I can honestly say Nathalie made Charlie feel very welcome. She eased my anxiety, sending regular pictures and videos of all of the fun Charlie was having. He was calm and came home a happy dog. Although I think he is already missing her. Charlie cant wait to return in August. Thank you 😊”

About: I first got experience looking after dogs when I got my cocker spaniel at 13. I was solely responsible for his care, exercise and training. I have also helped care for my friends', families' and neighbour's dogs when they need it and am capable of caring for dogs of all ages. I have trained both my dogs as well as assisting my friends in the past in the past and still attend 'Deputy dog' classes with my current puppy since she loves the challenge! As the majority of my work is done at home and in my own time I am able to schedule everything around the care for the dogs and still get my work done easily while the dogs are either with me or sleeping. I am often working in the room we keep the dogs in through the day so they will have company almost all the time and I can take them for walks at whatever time is best to break up my day. Our garden is walled and closed off, when I am in the kitchen the dogs can roam freely between the kitchen and the garden. The dogs are allowed in every room of the house except for the bedroom and the details around when they get fed and walked can be easily tailed to suit the dogs. At night, our dog will be crated and ideally yours would be too, but if they settle down well an exception can be made. If there is anything else you wish to know please message me!

“Natasha was great with Toto - took her out for a couple of walks and a ball throw. Communication was great as well, fast responses about the booking, and updates and photos while Toto was with her. Will definitely use again. Thank you, Natasha 😊”

“River had a lovely time with Sharon, Willow, Charlie and the gorgeous cats. He went on Saturday morning, stayed overnight and returned at eight on Sunday night. Sharon rang me before River’s stay to check on feeding, overnight arrangements and the training we are working on. Sharon and Willow worked on River’s recall skills and “drop it” command. He made great progress. River was really well cared for. He had had a busy two days and is now lying upside down on the settee snoring loudly. One happy pooch. Thank you, Sharon and team 🐾 🐾 See you soon x”

“Nichola was exceptional! She was incredibly accommodating when I was abroad and had to arrange dropping Ruby off through my boyfriend. I got lots of updates and Nichola even took her to the pet store to pick out a chew. Ruby didn’t want to leave in the end!”

“Scooby had the most amazing time, and we were constantly kept updated with pictures and messages of what he was up to! We will definitely be booking again in the future!!”

“We have not had a holiday in many years because we have not had anyone to look after our dog. This year we decided to look for some one to care for Sadie in their home. We found Rover and looked at all their sitters, we went to Alison in the first place because she was near to our home.On meeting Alison she put our mind at rest immediately, Sadie took to her straight away and we were able to go on holiday without any concern. Alison sent us a message and a photo everyday. Alison’s fees are not the cheapest on the sight but she is worth every penny for the peace of mind and I hope we will be able to make us of her service in the future, I cannot praise her to much. Gail Blamire.”

“Many thanks to Yvonne for caring for Rosie so well over the weekend. It’s the first time Rosie has stayed there . I was nervous as Rosie is a miniature dachshund and is a real Mummy’s girl . But Yvonne invited us to her house for a couple of visits before I finally left Rosie . The stay went wonderfully, with lots of photos of Rosie having cuddles and belly rubs . Thanks Yvonne , Rosie will become a regular visitor xx”

“Molly had the best time with Emily, Phil and their dog Mac for a long weekend stay. This is the second time we've used Emily and Phil, and Molly clearly remembered the house and was very excited to be there again which tells me how much she'd enjoyed her first visit. Molly and Mac are now the best of friends and she's been on some brilliant adventures with them - ideal for a very active cocker spaniel! The communication from Emily and Phil has been excellent with regular updates and pictures, and I'm already booking in the next stay. Thank you.”
