Top-rated Barnsley house sitters

“Marie and Tony were great, they had a difficult time with our lab. It appears his separation and anxiety got the best of him, which in turn lead to his old bad behaviours coming out. They never once moaned about being kept up all night and had a bad run in with an off leash dog. All of which was handled brilliantly. They made us feel very at ease and we’d definitely use them again.. hopefully it’s a smoother ride next time. House was well looked after and lots of pictures and communication!”

“Really good. My dogs were cared for well and l had updates and pictures.”

“I honestly cannot recommend Joana enough. I had never had a house sitter for my dog before and was a bit anxious, but Joana made the process so much easier right from the start to the end. She was flexible with all of my needs and the needs of my dog, met Teddy twice before the house sitting, and gave me an update with photos and videos every single day. I could tell Teddy was having an amazing holiday himself! Joana is a generally lovely person and will 100% use her services again in the future, and I know Teddy can't wait to see her again!”

“Rebecca stepped up last minute to care for our dog on our wedding day. She made the time to meet him before and was excellent on the day. Our dog had the best time, we would definitely recommend her and will be requesting she cares for our dog again. Thank you Rebecca! xx”

“Absolutely wonderful. Great comms, super considerate, an excellent house/pet sitter.”

About: I understand that every pet is unique. From energetic puppies who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who crave gentle company, I tailor my care to suit each dog’s personality and routine. What sets me apart is the genuine bond I build with every animal. I treat your dog like part of my family, offering not just basic care but affection, enrichment, and attention to detail—whether that’s sticking to feeding schedules, providing stimulating walks, or simply giving them the reassurance they need while you’re away. We both work during the week, so weekends are dedicated entirely to caring for your dog. From Friday evenings (if needed) through Sunday, we can give them our full attention, companionship, and care. We have a fully enclosed, secure garden, providing a safe space for your dog to relax and play. Our home is calm, with no other pets or children, so your dog will have our undivided attention. We dedicate our time entirely to meeting your pet’s needs, treating them as part of our family. Whether it’s daily walks tailored to their energy level or sticking closely to their feeding schedule, we’ll ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved throughout their stay.

“Maddie took amazing care of Bentley ,giving me updates often with photos and videos to put my mind at ease. I would 100% recommend and have her return. My house was clean and tidy when returned from holiday couldn’t ask for better care for my fur baby.”

About: I have a little pet care experience, watching over my friends cats Nelson and Dorito for a couple times. My family also had a German shepherd I used to look after. Fury friends always make me smile whenever I see them on the walk, and I dream about the day we’re going to welcome a dog to our home as well. I’m currently taking some time off work, so available most of the time during week and weekends as well, so gladly spend some quality time looking after your loved ones. I don’t have any pets, but your dog is going to be very loved by my family who adore pets as much as I do, if you need an over night stay.

“I can highly recommend Rosie , She came to look after our old dog who we’ve never left before . She’s very calm and nothing phases her . Wilf and Peach were both very happy when we arrived back home . Thankyou so much”

About: From a young age, I've always had pets in my life, whether that is a dog, a cat, a rat, a hamster and more and that is what drives me to become a pet sitter. Animals give me joy and I love being around them! Pets are part of our family and I will treat them as if they were my own when I'm caring for them ☺️ I'm currently working full time but normally work from home so can easily drop in to see your pets or walk them to fit around my schedule. I will always ensure they have been well fed, water checked, walked (if applicable) and their environment is suited to their needs. I will ensure I fully understand your pets needs and personality to ensure they receive the best treatment possible. I know each pet is different!

About: My current house is rented, and doesn't allow animals. As an animal lover, it means i have to rely on other means to get my fix! I have grown up around dogs, and have always been relied upon to be the family dog walker. I still go home to take my parents dogs out on a regular basis, as well as other dogs in the family. I regularly look after my aunties dogs while they are on holiday, and I simply love it. I have in the past owned a Beaglier called Nellie, and trained her from a Pup. I work full time as a primary school teacher, so although a little extra money is appreciated - I do this for the love of spending time with furry friends - I often prefer the company of animals to people. I am a primary school teacher working full time. Due to being in a rented accomodation, I am not allowed animals. Therefore I have to rely on other means to get a furry fix! I am free weekends almost any time, and during the week from 4PM onwards. When looking after an animal in your home I understand that I am responsible for more than just the pet. Therefore all boundaries will be respected, and will require all relevant information regarding the pet prior to sitting the animal. I.e, boundaries within the home, medical requirements, feeding requirements, relevant training i.e recall, temperament etc.

About: I have a big love for dogs love going on walks and seeing new places especially the beach walks with the dogs i enjoy the company and getting out as much as I can on walks I work full time but I work from 5 am to 2 pm walk in the morning before work then when I get home shower and walks again I have a fenced garden secure and a nice clean home smoke free and quiet environment for any dog close by fields woodland areas too

“A really positive experience for us and our dog, a face to face visit first was accomodated, followed by a thorough paperbased assessment to ensure all details, likes, dislikes and vaccination history including vets details were logged in case of emergencies. Friendly and genuine love of dogs Jeff took excellent care of my dog. He has a good understanding of reading dog behaviour and genuinely felt comfortable in leaving my pet in his care. It really was like he had a holiday at the same time as us. Receiving the update photos and how he was doing were of great comfort to me and my husband via social media while we were away. I can't thank Jeff and his wife enough, would definitely recommend and have my dog stay with them again.”
