“This was our first Rover experience and it was great. Jasmine was able to come over to give Mochi her pill, meet the cats and go over things before we left. Loved the pictures we got while we were away. It was nice to know someone was coming in every day just to make sure they were looked after and not causing too much trouble.”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Brooke! Our cat is usually very shy around new people, but Brooke’s calm and gentle presence helped her feel comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure our cat was safe, happy, and well cared for, and she also looked after our home with care and respect. We appreciated the thoughtful updates and photos while we were away. We’re so grateful to have found her and would love to work with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had bloodhounds for the past decade, making sure that they get a daily walk and care they need and deserve. I also have had cats in the past and like my neighborhood cats that come to visit. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to come visit or walk your pet. I bring attention to detail and focus on the pet's needs. I am able to follow instructions, and respect other's loved ones and family. Calm and confident is the best way to make friends (humans and animals).

About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs ranging for 5lb to 95lb. I currently have a husky and a beagle mix. All types of dogs are welcomed. Sun-Tues all day due to being my off days and can stop more than twice. Wed- Sat 5am and 6:30 pm-9pm due to work schedule. I have a fenced in yard. If you do not have a fenced I am more than happy to sit outside and keep an eye on them.

“Elke was great! Very attentive, making sure our lil furbabies were fed and watered, and sent great updates during this stay… Thanks for taking such fantastic care of our two felines!”

About: Hello! I was zookeeper of reptiles and amphibians at a zoo for almost 6 years and now work as a veterinary assistant at a veterinary clinic here in Seattle. I have a cat, a dog, and a snake of my own and I love them dearly. I am experienced in animal care of many species. I have cared for dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and more. As a veterinary assistant, I am comfortable giving meds and managing old, frail, or special needs animals. I’d also love to hang out with your new kittens and puppies of course. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you have! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or scaly or feathered) friends!! My schedule is in flux at the moment. Please let me know when you need pet sitting and hopefully I can make it work. My schedule will be more solid soon when I start the new job. I can’t take pets into my home as my dog is sensitive to other new dogs or cats. I am happy to come to your place of residence to care for your pets and walk them around your neighborhood. I can also use my car to bring them to parks, trails, etc if you feel comfortable with me doing so.

About: Hi there, my name is Sarah and I love taking care of small dogs and cats! **I require all new clients to book a 1-2 day trial stay before booking more than a 5+ boarding stay in our home. I do not accept last minute requests for new clients, but will accept last minute requests for my regular clients at this time.** I have prior experience with taking care of two toy breed yorkshire terriers growing up and have always been a dependable and reliable caregiver for friends and family that own small dogs and also cats. I had my own fur baby 5lb pomeranian pup that I raised her from being a puppy until she was four years old and she passed away in 2023 due to MUE. She was the love of my life. 🌈 😔 As an ex-puppy mom, I miss having to take care of my own and would love to spend time with your pet and treat them with lots of attention, cuddles and playtime. If my requirements seem strict, it’s because I genuinely adore small dogs and want to ensure they are comfortable, supported, and thriving during their stay with us. As a former dog owner, I know firsthand the anxiety of leaving your beloved pet with someone else, and I want to put your mind at ease by making sure we're the perfect match for your pup before committing to extended boarding. If you’re a dog parent who truly cares about your pet’s well-being and quality of stay, I hope this message resonates with you. I’m committed to building strong relationships with pet parents who value their dog's happiness and want a reliable sitter who follows instructions and maintains a consistent home routine to help ease any anxiety. During the week day I work a part time position outside of my home and only can do dog boarding on the weekends. Given my schedule, I’m unable to provide constant care for elderly or high-needs dogs at this time. However, I'm more than happy to shower your dog with love and attention by playing with their favorite toys and taking them on evening walks. Since I'm an illustrator, I often have virtual meetings and design work to handle during the day, so I can only accommodate dogs that are calm and low-maintenance. In the evenings, my husband and I wind down by watching a show and heading to bed by 10 p.m. as he leaves for work at 5 a.m. I require meet and greets where we can go over care instructions and ensure your pet is friendly and well-behaved and house trained. I do send out an intake form that I require to be filled out prior to our meet and greet. Here is a breakdown of my services I currently offer and what you can expect during your pet’s visit: Each visit I provide 4-12 photos and 1-2 videos. Boarding: Ideal for 1 animal under 10lb, my home offers a fully fenced yard in the back and a partially fenced yard in the front for potty breaks. I require all dogs to have been crate trained and require all dogs to have a crate of their own or a small space or bed when they stay at our house. We do not supply any pet beds or crates and do not have stairs to go on the couch nor in our home. My husband and I have no children or pets and live in a 1-story 800 sq ft rambler style home. We have lots of rugs since we have wood floors and a cozy fireplace to lay next to during the winter. In the afternoon and evenings, me and/or my husband are home to ensure your furbaby gets lots of cuddles, affection and playtime including playing with their favorite toy, fetch, and going on evening walks. Please ensure your pet is up-to-date on all of their vaccinations, treated for fleas/tick prevention before arriving. 30 minute Drop-in Visits: Ideal for 1-2 animals, in this time I will put out fresh food and water, potty breaks, and spend the rest of the time offering cuddles, affection and lots of playtime with your furbaby. 60 minute Drop-in Visits: Ideal for 1-2 animals, in this time I will put out fresh food and water, potty breaks, clean litter boxes, and ensuring lots of affection, cuddles and playtime. If you have any special requests I’m happy to accommodate 😊 If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask!

About: I’ve been around and lived with pets almost all of my life — I’ve had lizards, fish, dogs, and more recently have been caring for my partner’s cat. I’m communicate, detailed oriented, and clean. L I work a mix of part time jobs, some of which start in the early morning, but most typically I get to set my schedule on a weekly basis. Therefore I get to organize my schedule to align with a pets routine and needs. I care for pets first by paying attention to them, noticing their patterns and behavior, to make sure they’re getting what they need. By paying attention to their visible needs and then following the instructions left by the client, I do my best to maintain a sense of consistency and normalcy for them. When I care for a clients pet, I organize my schedule and routine around the pets routine — it’s easier for my schedule to adjust than theirs. They deserve a feeling of safety and consistency, and so does the client.

“Carly was very easy to work with and provided great communication while we were away. She also provided great care to the cat and always gave detailed checkins. Highly recommended”

Sarah H.

“Sarah H. watched our Yorkie pups Ascii and Bandit for a week while we went out of town. She did a great job playing, feeding, caring and walking them at her home. She sent us pictures, and videos and reported to us every few days. She managed to keep them both looking pretty content despite their very unique personalities. One is a nervous dog and less trusting, but when we returned we found him content and pretty happy but still a nervous pup. The other is very relaxed and pretty happy, and he literally was curled in her lap when we arrived to pick them up. Sarah provided us a great card outlining daily notes with meal times, snacks and behaviors for each of them, along with a treat bag for each of with some of the treats she recommends. We really liked her when we met her originally and was so relieved to find her available. We will use her again! Thanks you so much Sarah! You did a great job!”

Luke S.
“Luke has a very gentle approach to caring for dogs, and will accomplish what you need for your pup to get adequate care and communicate well and provide updates when you are far away or out of town. He has watched my dog Koda for almost 2 years now on and off and has been a great companion to Koda - taking him on long walks and giving him lots of pets. Luke has a great history being with animals and is a great pick to have as someone to watch your pets!”

Carly D.

“Carly was very easy to work with and provided great communication while we were away. She also provided great care to the cat and always gave detailed checkins. Highly recommended”

Tukwila cat parents share their Rover experiences
Brooklin was absolutely fantastic and so wonderful to work with! We have kitties with special medical needs including oral meds, inhaler treatments and insulin shots every 12 hrs, and she jumped right in and learned their routines/treatments so quickly and easily! We loved reading Brooklin’s fun notes after each visit and the photos & videos she sent. It truly made being away from home so much easier knowing they were in great hands! We appreciate you so much Brooklin!!

Coburn was referred to us by another sitter we’ve used previously; we’re so glad to have been introduced! Coburn did a few days of drop-ins for our cat and dog while we were out of town. He provided wonderful care to them (including eye drops for our blind dog) and they warmed up super quickly to him! We could see from the photos how much they were enjoying hanging out with Coburn. Coburn also treated our home respectfully and was a great communicator (and photographer!) throughout and around our trip. We had peace of mind knowing that he was looking after our pets and home while we were away. We look forward to booking with Coburn again!

Yukako checked in on our cat Mittens while we were away for a few days. As always, she sent many pics, and we were delighted to see Mittens looked comfortable and playful in every photo :) We always feel comfortable leaving our pets at home with Yukako checking in on them.

Very responsive to our last minute pet sitting request! We appreciated all the cute selfies with the cats and were happy to have someone to check in on their food/water situation while we were out of town. He even helped bring in some packages that were delivered and cleaned up a few messed the cats made. Thanks again!

I recently hired Eric to take care of my two beloved cats, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment we met, it was clear that he genuinely loves animals and has a natural connection with them. Both of my cats, who one of them can be a bit shy around new people, warmed up to he immediately. Eric went above and beyond to make sure my fur babies were well taken care of while I was away. Not only did he stick to their feeding schedule and play with them, but he also took the time to send me regular updates with adorable pictures and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind. I could tell my cats were in the best hands, and they seemed so happy and relaxed when I returned. It’s such a relief to find someone I can trust wholeheartedly with my pets. If you’re looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter, I highly recommend Eric. My two cats are already looking forward to their next visit!
