About: I grew up on a farm with minimum four cats and four dogs And yes, it got hectic once in a while. I feel ready to take care of your animals. Like I have taken care of mine with much love and care. Growing up on a farm situations and scenarios always change. And you have to figure out certain problems. I’m ready to make sure these are taken care of head on and to communicate with their mom and/or dad. I wish that you can place your trust in me. That way you can enjoy whatever you’re doing😌 I currently have full-time availability, including weekends and holidays. I am a part-time artist, so that is one thing I do prioritize at times if there are events, and or opportunities to showcase, my art. But communication is key and most of the time. I am willing to work something out. I currently have three dogs at home my own, and my roommates. So bringing another dog home can be hectic, and I prefer not to. I feel a lot more comfortable going to your home.

“We booked Rachel for a week long house sitting stay for 2 dogs (one that is still healing from a broken leg) and she exceeded all expectations! She provided updates at least daily, sometimes even more - and I loved recieving the photos and cute lil comments about how their days went! We came back to a clean house, she even washed our sheets so we didnt have to worry about it when we came home. My babies were very comfortable with her, and she even stopped by twice before the booking to allow them to get used to her, which kept our Chihuahua from having any separation anxiety. She asked informed questions and made sure she had a thorough understanding before we left! We informed her that we got sick from the cruise and came home to some cans of chicken noodle soup, shes super sweet! I printed out any information I could for her about anything that could possibly come up (as I would have spotty service being on a cruise) and she followed them to a tee. She offered to help with our house plants too which helped immensely! She also looked for solutions to anything I noted as if they were her own dogs. I told her to help herself to whatever in the house, yet she still replaced it, I can not recommend Rachel enough. This was the first time we have left the dogs at home with a sitter, and I was very nervous, but she made the whole process extremely comfortable and I can’t thank her enough. We found our go to dog sitter and dare I say possibly even a friend! Thank you again Rachel 🥰”

About: I am a retired diabetes educator dietitianand since retiring in 2020 I have been focusing on doing the things I love, caring for animals, gardening, travel and enjoying nature. I have a 3 year old food forest in my yard. If you have a garden or even houseplants, they will receive the same love and care that I will give your pets. I volunteer with a pelican rescue group and over the years I have fostered cats, dogs and kittens with ACC in NYC and PCAS in Largo. I also volunteered as a goat nanny in Oldsmar. I have done house sitting and cared for friends’ pets in their homes. I have years of experience caring for my own pets. I’ve been a foster mom for dogs of all sizes from a senior chihuahua to an 85 pound pit bull, and from 2 weeks old kittens to seniors cats. I have had pets since I was 7 years old and when my kids were young they always had a variety of pets including gerbils, mice, guinea pigs, rats, snakes, lizards and of course we always had cats, dogs and chickens. My heart dogs were a Shepard poodle mix, a pit bull mix and an American bully. They lived to be seniors and I’m experienced with giving medication and the special care that seniors need. I’m not a dog trainer but I did participate in a program where I was trained to train shelter dogs to make them more adoptable. I am retired and my schedule is flexible. I’m an early riser so if your cat likes her breakfast at 5 am, no problem! I’m available for in home sitting and walks and I could be available with one day notice. I am taking a master gardener volunteer class from August 20-November 18 and they meet in person on Wednesday mornings. Other than that, I am available. I’d appreciate detailed instructions to best care for your pets in your home. You can rest assured that they’ll be taken care of while you’re away.

About: I am a passionate dog lover with extensive experience as my father is a veterinarian at Cornell University and I have been volunteering with many animal projects since I was a child. Furthermore, I used to participate in dog sled racing and recently finished an internship working with over 100 sled dogs, letting them out, training, feeding, and handling them. My family currently owns one dog yet in the past we have owned up to 26, and I have single handedly cared for 10 at a time. I have been pet sitting for 4 years, am dog CPR certified, and can administer oral medication if needed. I have worked with dogs and cats of all sizes, and am most comfortable with large and medium sized dogs I work from home and regularly travel/watch pets using the trusted Housesitter app. My schedule consists of assigned task, so I will be able to walk and give love to your furry family throughout the day. I try to keep routine as usual so that pets have an easy transition of care. I’m great at engaging with active pets or lounging with older/special needs pets.
