About: My journey with animals started long before I became a sitter-growing up around dogs, cats, and small animals taught me the value of patience, empathy, and consistency. From daily walks to special-needs support, I provide thoughtful, reliable care that helps pets feel safe, loved, and right at home-even when you’re away. Right now I am working full-time as a pier attendant for the HOA at Tahoe Tavern. I am off Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday to Monday I work from 7:45 to 2 pm. When I care for pets in their home, I prioritize safety, trust, and consistency above all. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keeping their environment calm and familiar while respecting your space as if it were my own. I stay attentive to behavior changes, ensure secure feeding and walking practices. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely at ease-because peace of mind is part of the service.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: Dogs are better than humans and the more we aspire to be like them the better the world gets. I love dogs and have always been an active member of my local humane society and have volunteered with non profits in several 3rd world countries for animal welfare. I am active and move around often so have not been able to have my own fur baby yet so I would be so grateful and honoured to be the best ‘ fun aunt’ to yours. I enjoy time outside as much as a dog does so I’ll be able to return your pup well exercised and ready to relax after a good hike and some fresh air and belly rubs. I work in restaurants so am free every day until 3 and finish around 10pm. I would be able to take your dog out for regular runs or walks as well as house sitting in the safety and comfort of their own home. I live in a studio apartment with great access to trails and an unfenced yard. Dog sitting at my house would be totally possible for the right dog that would be comfortable with a smaller space.

I currently work from home, so your pet will never be left unsupervised. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant at a local clinic, where I gained hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, rodents, and reptiles. About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. Your dog will be my only priority. I am available to take care of all of your dogs with each scheduled visit. I will always ask if it is ok to also care for another dog along with yours. I am interested in boarding your dog/ dogs while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I will be able to spend all of my time with your dog. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: My partner and I both grew up with cats and dogs in our households and we love pet sitting! We do not have any animals of our own due to frequent travel and not wanting the long-term commitment at this point in life, but Rover a great opportunity to fill the void of not having animals around. My boyfriend works remotely and I work on a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to come home for lunch on the days I’m in office. We have ample time to tend to pets and we enjoy getting outside for walks to break up our workdays. Having grown up with many pets, I'm comfortable with them being on furniture and having them feel at home in my space. I believe the best way for animals to feel comfortable is by sticking to their normal daily schedule.

About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently, we live in Tahoe City. I am in nursing school and work at the hospital. Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I watch a lot of my friends dogs when they go away and always make sure they are happy, fed, and included on adventures. I have experience taking dogs trail running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. I currently work as a trail guide with horses part time. If your pet is okay being around horses, they can come to work with me. They do have to be in a kennel or tied up while there are guests, but they would be let out and walked multiple times throughout the day. On days I’m not working, your pet will be with me all day, whether it’s hiking, biking, or running! I typically don’t work on Tuesdays and weekends. I live on a quiet back road with a big yard. There is not a fence. My neighbor has a friendly yellow lab that we often take for walks and care for as well. There is a big trail system behind my house and I often take dogs up there for exercise. Inside the house, I am always open to having a dog on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. I am not a partier and am an early morning person. Your dog will be sure to get a morning and evening walk at the minimum. The dogs I walk usually come for any adventure with me, but if you have a senior dog that just needs a place to hang out and be loved on, that’s fine too!

About: Our animal companions need compassionate connection and care, especially when during times when their routines are disrupted by our human schedules. I aim to provide calm and gentle care during transitional times to alleviate any stress and anxiety. I love to play and regulate energy through games and activities! About: My wife and I have had the pleasure of owning dogs our entire lives! From miniature dachshunds to labs to rottweilers and more! We are trustworthy and timely humans and will be sure to give your pups all the love they deserve. We both work from home full time, and your pups will never have to be alone! We LOVE to be outdoors, and are happy to take your fur baby on as long or as short of a walk as necessary, and we're open to boarding on a case by case basis once I have met the dog as we do have a miniature dachshund (Sarge) of our own. Sarge went through back surgery last year, and we're very well adept at handling special needs pups, giving medication, etc. We hope you’ll give us a chance to earn your business time and time again.
