About: I've also had dogs for most of my life, but I think I really gained a love and understanding with my own dog I got 2.5 years ago as a puppy. Raising a puppy has given me a whole new appreciation for dog training and having a well-behaved puppy! I haven't done much senior care of dogs, but I have worked in human Healthcare and always had a special appreciation of older patients who required certain care, so it's not outside of my realm of comfort to provide extra care. I also understand that when training dogs you need to maintain consistency and as long as your commendas/needs are expressed, I will uphold those standards for you. I am not currently working so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to provide care. Currently I manage my own dog with walks, food, potty breaks, and enrichment every day. When my husband is gone for work I manage the feeding, enrichment, and litter box cleaning for our cat as well. I have a fenced yard and access to dogs parks as well as live in a quiet neighborhood for adequate walks. My home does have stairs that are required for access, but we have lots of beds and couches for pups to get comfy on. I also have plenty of toys and treats for enrichment. We have a large koi pond in the yard, so dogs staying with us do need to have good enough recall to be called away from the pond, they should not want to jump in at sight. In the client's home I'm willing to play/provide enrichment, training, and walks in the neighborhood, or whatever the normal routine is.

“By the time I picked Pepper up, she was so happy and when we came back home she was tired from all the walks and playtime with Priscilla and her dogs. It’s a relief knowing Pepper is in good hands while I’m away. I also love how she sends updates with photos and notes. It really puts my mind at ease. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and loving doggy daycare, I highly recommend Priscilla! Thank you for taking such great care of Pepper.”

About: Hello My name is Salman. Over the past 10+ years, I have gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and small reptiles. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering medication, cleaning enclosures, and providing companionship to ensure animals feel safe and comfortable. I have also assisted with grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming. In addition to working with individual pet owners, I volunteered at a local animal shelter where I supported staff in maintaining clean living spaces, observing animal behavior for signs of stress or illness, and helping with adoption events. These experiences have strengthened my sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and deepened my passion for animal welfare. Animals are my passion. Rest a sure you’re pet will definitely be safe with me :) I am home full time. I will have lots of time playing with your pet & showing them new tricks. They will love staying with me because they will have all my attention. I will make sure they are always at a place where I can see them. I will make sure to remove every object or things that shouldn’t be around the house. They are also allowed on my furniture. My house is also their house

“Paul accepted my last minute booking request. I had to adjust my drop off/pick up times & he was flexible with that. My dog Eddie can have a bit of anxiety when he isn't with his family. When he was picked up he was very relaxed & happy; so I know he was well taken care of. I will definitely use Paul again.”

“Matt has been fantastic. We've been using him for doggy care and boarding for our Husky at least once per week for the past month and she always comes home tired and well taken care of. Matt has been prompt in communicating with us and has been really flexible with our schedules. Highly recommend!”

“Rose has watched our 2 dogs on a few occasions and they seem to do so great with her. One of our dogs can definitely be anxious with new places but Rose seems to go above and beyond to help him settle in and from the pictures she sends, he seems to really enjoy being there. Will definitely continue to take our dogs to Rose anytime we are in need of a dog sitter!”

“Kate did an awesome job watching my 2 dogs. I received updates and pictures throughout the day that let me know I didnt have to worry about how my dogs were doing.”

“I felt that my girls were comfortable with Riga. She would send pupdates and was very responsive. Our girls also got along with her dog, Walnut, which is a plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend her and plan to book her services again.”

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home dad in Tacoma with a spacious, fully fenced yard and a calm home environment perfect for dogs that need peace, consistency, and a little room to roam. I only care for one dog — or one dog family — at a time, which means your pet will never be around unfamiliar dogs. No pack dynamics, no stress, no surprises. This is ideal for dogs who are mellow, shy, older, or just prefer their own space. I’m a former Marine and longtime high school science teacher — calm, responsible, and steady. Your dog will get gentle structure, a lot of attention, and real companionship throughout the day. Whether they love sunbathing in the yard, laying by my desk, or getting regular belly rubs and breaks, they’ll be safe and happy here. Happy to provide updates and photos. I treat every pet like family — because I know how much they mean to you. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, so I’m around all day to provide company and care. I like to start the morning with a walk/run around the neighborhood — it’s a great way for dogs to get some energy out and for both of us to enjoy a bit of fresh air. Fully fenced yard! My home is a calm, pet-friendly space where safety and trust come first. I work from home and spend much of the day in meetings, so the environment stays quiet and predictable — perfect for pets who enjoy a peaceful routine. I only care for one pet or one pet family at a time, so there are no unexpected animals or crowded situations. Dogs can nap nearby while I work, hang out in the fenced yard for breaks, or go for relaxed walks around the neighborhood. I keep things low-key, respectful, and safe — your pet gets attention, consistency, and a stable environment while you’re away. Whether they want to play or just relax, I make sure they feel secure and cared for like part of the family.

About: My family always had animals growing up, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, Guinea pigs, goats. You name it. I got involved volunteering at the local animal shelter walking dogs and occasionally boarding them. Since then I’ve expanded to working with a rescue fostering dogs from time to time. I find great joy and fulfillment in helping out in that way and seeing dogs thrive and find their forever families. I’m experienced with all ages of dogs. I am currently a stay at home mom to my kids, ages 10, 7 & 5. We homeschool and we are home most of the day, if we do leave for an outing it’s no more than a few hours. Caring for pets in our home, with our fosters we have a good system of slow introduction with our current dogs (male, 4yrs, female, 2yrs) who are very dog friendly and use to random dogs being at our house haha. Once we know everyone will get along we let them meet in the backyard, with leash attached. If they are staying over night, they will sleep in a wire crate (we have a large double crate) they will eat their meals in their crate as well, to avoid any food aggression. The kids can be loud and busy, so we would need to assure the dog won’t be triggered or lash out at that type of behavior. We haven’t had an issue with this so far.

About: I grew up with dogs of my own and neighbor hood dogs that I would feed, walk, and play daily with in our yard. Currently I have a dog of my own that I have cared for and walk twice a day for 7 yrs, he is a Corgi. For about 2 years in my twenties I worked at a Vet Clinic as a Kennel Tec, daily I would clean their kennels, take them on walks, and feed them - so I have plenty of practice with different breeds. I am a 36 year old stay at home mom who currently is available M-F. I am flexibly available to walk and care for your pets. I have a calm and chill personality where I can make your pet feel comfortable and safe as I care for them. I love taking walks and going to parks where we can adventure around and enjoy nature together, as well as helping tire out those high energy pets.

About: I (Mandy) grew up with multiple dogs in my family my entire life, and can't remember a time (until now) when I wasn't caring for a pup. I had a few large mutts (70-115 lbs), a medium-sized tibetian terrier, and two yorkies. I also worked at a dog-friendly office, so I got my fair share of dog time with a ton of different breeds and I miss it! I absolutely adore dogs and they tend to love me. Greg, my husband is a Maryland native and we lived in Virginia together for 5 years where we did most of our dog sitting. I'm from Kent, WA originally and we bought a house in Tacoma in December of 2024 and we cannot be happier to be here! We are excited to start meeting the dogs in our area :) Our home has a fenced in back yard, and Greg and I both work from home, and we have very flexible schedules that allow for multiple dog walks and potty breaks every day. We both work from home 7-3 but with a very flexible schedule. Typically we will give a quick 30 minute walk in the morning, depending on the dog's size and energy level, a mid-day walk, and then a longer walk after dinner. Of course, potty breaks are dependent on the dog but we're able to take them out as often as every hour. We are happy to work with you on what your dog prefers! We live in a 3 story home with hardwood floors on the first floor. We have a fully fenced back yard and have plenty of space for your dog's items including their bed and/or crate.

About: I've had a family dog growing up and have taken care of them when I was younger. I currently have a 13 year old mini Aussie, Jackson, since he was a puppy. Jackson is an older dog and is very friendly to all dogs and he loves cats. I work from home so it gives me a lot of flexibility to care for my dog and yours. I walk my dog daily and your dog will join our pack. Your dog will roam free. Water bowl are always filled as mine drinks quite a lot. Food is left out as well unless your dog is on an eating schedule. Lots of toys and treats so you won't have to bring any. I live by a park so I can walk your dog along with mine 3 times a day as Jackson loves to go to the park and watch squirrels. I work from home and have a lot of time available to take my dog and boarded dogs on walks 3 times daily and we live by a park so there will be plenty of walks and time to play during breaks. While I live in a small complex apartment my area has access to parks that is 1 block away. I live on the top floor as well as work from home and your dog will be safe. They will be able to roam free with no restrictions. Bedding, toys, treats, water, food, and all necessities will be provided.

“I would highly recommend Marissa to any pet parent! She is extremely professional; punctual, polite, and excellent at communication. She cares deeply about her clients, providing focused attention and intelligent follow through. I think what sets Marissa apart is her curiosity and compassion. She is genuinely excited about each client as an individual, rises to meet their needs, and spoils them with love and comfort. She has a former career in healthcare, therefore I can trust that she is logical and has a ton of integrity. She is also just a joy to talk to! She listens, volunteers her thoughts and ideas, and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to make sure she is giving her absolute best. She is absolutely fantastic with my dogs and cats. She has been incredibly patient and persistent with my shy rescue dog that doesn’t trust ANYONE. Marissa’s hard work paid off, and my once suspicious pup now gives her kisses and leans in for pets. Patient, smart, loves animals and they lover her; that’s Marissa!”

Tacoma dog parents share their Rover experiences
When our sitter ghosted us just before drop off, Happy Furbaby Inn was able to take our pup in immediately. They really saved our day! It was our puppy’s first daycare experience and it went great, they were even so nice about his little pee accident. Super happy with the experience!

Kate was very friendly, wonderful with Enzo and worked with me and my schedule. She has a great backyard, where he loved to explore and run around. I was so appreciative of Kate being able to jump in and watch him for the day while I was at work. I highly recommend her and no doubt we will see her again!

My pups and I are so incredibly thrilled and thankful that we found Danielle as our permanent sitter! Her energy is truly wonderful and as a pet parent, I feel relieved seeing my dogs happy to see her each day that they are in her care. My dogs took to Moshi and Danielle's partner as part of their little pack. It really is the cutest thing, and she is exceptional at the level of service, responsiveness and open communication about my two dogs. Danielle is definitely a 5/5 highly recommend doggie caregiver. THANK YOU, DANIELLE!! <3

Jessica is absolutely wonderful! I am so thankful to have found her to watch my puppy. From our first meet and greet to picking up, she kept me posted the entire time. Her communication is excellent. I knew my puppy was well taken care of, and as a pet parent, that’s what it’s all about. Without a doubt, I will have Jessica watch my pups again.

Kato was very thorough in getting to know Bruno wants and needs before his stay. In addition, Kato gave me all of the information and emergency contacts if anything were to happen while watching Bruno. It seems Bruno enjoyed being at Kato's house. I would definitely recommend Kato as a petsitter and have Bruno stay with Kato again.
