About: I've also had dogs for most of my life, but I think I really gained a love and understanding with my own dog I got 2.5 years ago as a puppy. Raising a puppy has given me a whole new appreciation for dog training and having a well-behaved puppy! I haven't done much senior care of dogs, but I have worked in human Healthcare and always had a special appreciation of older patients who required certain care, so it's not outside of my realm of comfort to provide extra care. I also understand that when training dogs you need to maintain consistency and as long as your commendas/needs are expressed, I will uphold those standards for you. I am not currently working so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to provide care. Currently I manage my own dog with walks, food, potty breaks, and enrichment every day. When my husband is gone for work I manage the feeding, enrichment, and litter box cleaning for our cat as well. I have a fenced yard and access to dogs parks as well as live in a quiet neighborhood for adequate walks. My home does have stairs that are required for access, but we have lots of beds and couches for pups to get comfy on. I also have plenty of toys and treats for enrichment. We have a large koi pond in the yard, so dogs staying with us do need to have good enough recall to be called away from the pond, they should not want to jump in at sight. In the client's home I'm willing to play/provide enrichment, training, and walks in the neighborhood, or whatever the normal routine is.

About: My family always had animals growing up, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, Guinea pigs, goats. You name it. I got involved volunteering at the local animal shelter walking dogs and occasionally boarding them. Since then I’ve expanded to working with a rescue fostering dogs from time to time. I find great joy and fulfillment in helping out in that way and seeing dogs thrive and find their forever families. I’m experienced with all ages of dogs. I am currently a stay at home mom to my kids, ages 10, 7 & 5. We homeschool and we are home most of the day, if we do leave for an outing it’s no more than a few hours. Caring for pets in our home, with our fosters we have a good system of slow introduction with our current dogs (male, 4yrs, female, 2yrs) who are very dog friendly and use to random dogs being at our house haha. Once we know everyone will get along we let them meet in the backyard, with leash attached. If they are staying over night, they will sleep in a wire crate (we have a large double crate) they will eat their meals in their crate as well, to avoid any food aggression. The kids can be loud and busy, so we would need to assure the dog won’t be triggered or lash out at that type of behavior. We haven’t had an issue with this so far.

About: I grew up with dogs of my own and neighbor hood dogs that I would feed, walk, and play daily with in our yard. Currently I have a dog of my own that I have cared for and walk twice a day for 7 yrs, he is a Corgi. For about 2 years in my twenties I worked at a Vet Clinic as a Kennel Tec, daily I would clean their kennels, take them on walks, and feed them - so I have plenty of practice with different breeds. I am a 36 year old stay at home mom who currently is available M-F. I am flexibly available to walk and care for your pets. I have a calm and chill personality where I can make your pet feel comfortable and safe as I care for them. I love taking walks and going to parks where we can adventure around and enjoy nature together, as well as helping tire out those high energy pets.

About: I (Mandy) grew up with multiple dogs in my family my entire life, and can't remember a time (until now) when I wasn't caring for a pup. I had a few large mutts (70-115 lbs), a medium-sized tibetian terrier, and two yorkies. I also worked at a dog-friendly office, so I got my fair share of dog time with a ton of different breeds and I miss it! I absolutely adore dogs and they tend to love me. Greg, my husband is a Maryland native and we lived in Virginia together for 5 years where we did most of our dog sitting. I'm from Kent, WA originally and we bought a house in Tacoma in December of 2024 and we cannot be happier to be here! We are excited to start meeting the dogs in our area :) Our home has a fenced in back yard, and Greg and I both work from home, and we have very flexible schedules that allow for multiple dog walks and potty breaks every day. We both work from home 7-3 but with a very flexible schedule. Typically we will give a quick 30 minute walk in the morning, depending on the dog's size and energy level, a mid-day walk, and then a longer walk after dinner. Of course, potty breaks are dependent on the dog but we're able to take them out as often as every hour. We are happy to work with you on what your dog prefers! We live in a 3 story home with hardwood floors on the first floor. We have a fully fenced back yard and have plenty of space for your dog's items including their bed and/or crate.

About: I've had a family dog growing up and have taken care of them when I was younger. I currently have a 13 year old mini Aussie, Jackson, since he was a puppy. Jackson is an older dog and is very friendly to all dogs and he loves cats. I work from home so it gives me a lot of flexibility to care for my dog and yours. I walk my dog daily and your dog will join our pack. Your dog will roam free. Water bowl are always filled as mine drinks quite a lot. Food is left out as well unless your dog is on an eating schedule. Lots of toys and treats so you won't have to bring any. I live by a park so I can walk your dog along with mine 3 times a day as Jackson loves to go to the park and watch squirrels. I work from home and have a lot of time available to take my dog and boarded dogs on walks 3 times daily and we live by a park so there will be plenty of walks and time to play during breaks. While I live in a small complex apartment my area has access to parks that is 1 block away. I live on the top floor as well as work from home and your dog will be safe. They will be able to roam free with no restrictions. Bedding, toys, treats, water, food, and all necessities will be provided.
