“Alyssa has been nothing but amazing! I first booked her for dog walking while we were out of town for a week and our friend staying with Sully worked long hours. I received multiple pictures everyday of their walking adventures; you could tell Sully really enjoyed his walks with her. Today he had his first day of daycare at Alyssa’s home and again I received multiple pictures and updates on how he was doing with her dogs. He has since come home and has been relaxing at my side. We are going to do weekly daycare with Alyssa and will definitely book her for pet sitting or walking when we are out of town again!! I cannot recommend her enough!!”

About: My husband and I both work from home and we have a delightful 17-month-old boy who loves animals and is great with dogs. We look forward to caring for your pup! We live in a great neighborhood and love to go on walks. My schedule is flexible and I am available for walks as well as boarding. I am available all day throughout the week and also during weekends. I have a small fenced in yard as well as a safe, loving and comfortable home to provide to your pup while you are away.
“We have booked Kelly multiple times, and our once-anxious shih tzus were practically dragging my husband across the lawn to greet her this time. They adore “Auntie Kelly” and they were a little sad to leave Khloe behind at the end of the day. I love the regular updates and photos she sends throughout the day, and she truly cares for my dogs as if they were her own. I (still!) highly recommend her!”

“Westin and I absolutely loved Mariana!! She was so kind and kept me up to date throughout the day along with sending adorable pictures. I felt so comfortable leaving Westin with her and he got so excited every time he saw her. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have basically never known a pet-free life. I grew up with my dad, who is a professional dog trainer, so learning how to understand and work with animals started early for me. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even ferrets (yes, really) — I had two ferrets and a cat in college, and now I have two cats of my own. I regularly take care of my family’s pets when they’re out of town, and I take that responsibility seriously while still making sure pets feel relaxed, safe, and loved. I’m excited to expand my pet care and help more families feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have two cats of my own, and playtime is built into our mornings and evenings — it’s something my husband and I genuinely enjoy. We both work full-time (I’m a teacher and he works in the medical field), but during the day my mom or grandmother is home with my son, so there’s always someone around. That means pets are never left without care, attention, or a familiar presence, and I’m able to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine. Pets will be safe and comfortable in my home. We own our house and have both a fully fenced backyard and a fenced front yard, giving pets plenty of secure outdoor space. We love getting outside and regularly go on longer walks and trail excursions, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. Daily walks are already part of our routine, often with my son along for the fun. Inside, pets have space to relax, and I can crate a dog if needed or requested. I also have a calm, quiet area of the house for pets who prefer a more peaceful space or need a break from activity.
“Sherry was amazing with my dog, Emmy! From the moment we met, I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them like family. Emmy seemed to settle in very quickly based on the photos Sherry sent— Sherry’s home has a cozy home that made her feel completely at ease. I really appreciated the photo updates and the genuine care she showed. It felt more like Emmy was staying with a friend than a sitter. Highly recommend Sherry to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and loving with their pets! ❤️”

“Priscilla is great! Lots of pictures and updates throughout the day and was really flexible with pickup and drop off times. My dog fell asleep in the car within 5 minutes on the drive home so they got lots of energy out.”

“My pup Jack had a great stay with Mollie and her family. I needed help with a long day and they were there for me. He came home tired and calm, ready to sleep!”

“Kate has been fantastic with Mabel! She sends regular pictures and videos through out the day so that we can see our pups play! Our dog is always super happy to go to Kate’s and loves all the other pups there. We would highly recommend Kate for any dog sitting, walking or regular day care and we will continue to use her in the future! If we could give more than 5 stars we would!”

About: Comfortable and experienced with administering medication and caring for pets with anxiety, medical conditions, disabilities, and special needs. Rest assured instructions for care will be followed exactly. As a stay-at-home dog mom, I provide attentive, consistent pet sitting with plenty of companionship, structure, and love, ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as part of my daily routine. Living in an apartment surrounded by parks, pets enjoy plenty of daily walks, outdoor time, and are always welcome to come along whenever I leave home.
About: I work remote and am home 24/7 with my 2 doodles allowing any dogs that stay to be attended to, plenty of room to run around, and friends to keep them occupied. I have had dogs most of my life and have always trained them myself to be very social, active, and friendly. My job is fully remote so I get to hang out with dogs all day long! I typically take my dogs hiking or swimming on the weekends but they are just as happy staying at home if there’s friends to play with. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly doodles to keep your doggo(s) happy. I also have multiple crates that can be used if requested.
About: I've taken care of, trained, and raised animals for well over 25 years, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. I currently have one fully vaccinated goldendoodle named Argus. He is incredibly kind to people and dogs and a great companion to our guests. My home is pet friendly where dogs are welcome on the furniture and to sleep in bed with the pack unless they prefer their crate. Plus we have an incredible fenced backyard. I have experience giving medicine, including injections for fluids or insulin and oral medications, if your pet is special needs. Please note that you need to let me know before you book if your pet requires medication or special needs - it may impact the number of pets I host. I try to send at least 1 picture per day and provide updates regularly, occasionally, especially if your pet is high energy, we might be very busy playing or supervising and I might be slow to send pictures - rest assured it's because my attention is on your beloved pet. I do my best to accommodate last minute requests if I can and will always prioritize repeat clients. It will take some time to respond during week days or late at night. Dogs usually feel incredibly at ease in my home, even if their normal temperament is a little nervous or anxious. I've always been a magnet for both kids and animals to find comfort and love and can soothe pets through less-than-optimal behaviors with positive reinforcement and a firm "no," when needed. I typically cap boarding at a max of 3 dogs including my own. Dogs seem to really enjoy being part of a pack during their stay, so I'm a huge fan of giving them that experience - plus it feels like they're taking a vacation at a dog park! :) We go out at least 3 times a day - morning potty break, after work exercise & potty, and another potty break before bed. Usually, we add a walk or very active play time in at lunch or dinner, depending on weather and energy levels and which office I'm working in. I always make sure dogs get rest and if they're tired or struggling, we'll adjust. On high heat days, I make sure to walk early morning or late evening to avoid any paw injuries on hot pavement. One icy days or snow days, we take precautions and I make sure to monitor time playing in the snow. When boarding a puppy (under 1 year) or an anxious first-timer, I make sure to come home during lunch breaks to reinforce potty training habits and set them up for success in a new space. I offer lots of cuddle time, belly rubs, training reinforcement (but not new training), and a calm environment (minus normal dog chaos, of course) I also offer constant supervision on weekends and prefer dogs who do well outside of a crate, but if your dog is used to crate time alone, I can keep that routine for them. The first night or so, your pup will probably adjust to neighborhood noises and household routines, but usually by night 2, they're sleeping through the night again and well-adjusted. I have two kids (13 and 10), one of whom has aspirations to become a veterinarian. Both kids are well-taught in pet behavior and will slowly approach new dogs. They're attentive to reactions, needs, and care and know how to give space. We also have an incredibly friendly goldendoodle, who has been very loving helping other dogs adjust to board his entire life. We're generally quiet and spend a lot of time with our pup at the park or playing at home. I can provide either timed feeding or free-feeding, depending on your pet's needs. Our dog is allowed on furniture and sleeps in bed with his human. Your dog will be welcome to do the same. Argus is non-territorial and non-aggressive, although absolutely full of puppy doodle energy. We did recently move, so we're still settling into our new home and may be working or assembling furniture when you arrive. We have chews, toys, beds, and lots of other comforts to make your pet's stay a great experience! You'll need to provide food, leash, a favorite toy and any supplements or medications. If your dog is still potty training or otherwise needs pee pads, you'll need to provide those as well.
About: My name is Sara Bailly and I live in a Craftsman house with a large yard in the North End of Tacoma. I have a 10 year old and 8 year old who both love dogs. I am a stay at home mom, so except for my kids activities I am pretty flexible. With two kids running around I prefer dogs that are not food and toy possessive. I am careful to watch that they are gentle with dogs, but dogs need to be kid friendly. We have a tall fence and a doggie door with access to the back porch. We generally keep dogs indoors when we are out to minimize barking for our neighbors. If your dog is crate trained that is a plus. I love dogs and have been working with them for many years. I was a veterinary technician for 3 years, so I am comfortable and capable of administering all types of medication. I have a lot of experience with training dogs too, so if you're working on something with your pup I can continue that while you are away. About this sitter: I specialize in high energy dogs, and would love to watch your dog. Does your dog have separation anxiety? Dogs with separation anxiety will benefit from plenty of exercise, love, and attention while you're gone. A tired dog is a happy dog! I cannot stay with your dog as I have a new baby, but if you live in the North End of Tacoma I am able to take your dog out on a walk twice a day. I can also bring in the mail, pick up poo, and water while you are away. Are you working on training with your dog? Well I can keep it up while you’re away. Just let me know what you’re working on and what techniques you are using and I’ll work with your dog. Does your dog have special needs like ear drops, oral medication, or teeth brushing? Having been a veterinary technician for 3 years I am very comfortable and capable with many special needs. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years and have spent many years caring for my own dogs as well as family and friend's pets. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved all animals, but especially dogs. In high school I volunteered at the local veterinary clinic, and was quickly hired on. I worked there for two years before I left to go to culinary school. I have always had a dog since I was eighteen ( we had dogs when I was a kid too), and all of them have been rescues. I'm the lady who keeps a leash and treats in my car in case I see a stray. I have found forever homes for many abandoned dogs, and brought others home safely to their owners. My current pride and joy is my dog Clyde. He is an English Field Setter and a total goofball. About my yard We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room for running and playing fetch. When the weather is warmer we fill up the kiddie pool for any water loving dogs out there. We also have a dog run along the side of the house with an even higher fence. It's about 300sq. ft. and is where the dogs stay while I am away. There is access to the house from the dog run through a doggie door and plenty of space to run. My experience administering medication Yes, being a veterinary technician for years, I am comfortable with administering all types of medication. I work during the day on Wednesday and Thursday, but have a flexible schedule. I also work in the evenings on Fridays and Saturday. I am home except for errands and school drop-off/pick-up the rest of the week. I have a fenced backyard and a doggie door leading to the back porch. We are able to close the door to keep dogs from going out at night or when we are away.
“Ivonne has taken great care of my pup, Bear on several occasions now. Whenever I bring Bear to her home now, he yelps in joy and can't wait for her to open the door. She sends lots of photo updates throughout the day and always makes me feel at ease to have Bear stay with her.”

About: Dog Daycare is Mon-Fri, 8-5. I send photo pupdates and shuttle dogs home between 4-5pm. 🚙 I can comfortably board dogs up to 4 weeks and make sure they still have a loved and happy time. 🧡 I’ve been working with cats & dogs since 2004 and would love to fill your best friend’s day with their favorite fun activities! :-) I start my dog walks and drop in cat care visits as early as sunrise. And, I say goodnight to my last customers by evening. From the moment I step through your door, I am happy to follow special feeding instructions, play their favorite games or take a neighborhood walk.
“Nova had a great time with Heather and the pups in her home! She was tired after a long day of play and took a long nap. Heather was responsive and friendly, and has a clear passion for dogs. Highly recommended!”

Central dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sydnee has been fantastic with my pitbull named Hurley. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and shows that she cares for her animals. She sends photos and updates throughout the day and her bully breed Bronson is sooooo cute and loves to play with my dog. It's also very refreshing coming home from a long day of work and my pup was ready for a nap. Will definitely be using her services again and again.

Rose is great ! She is very attentive, sends lots of updates and replies quickly. My dogs love going over there and get excited when I say we are going to see Rose. Having a puppy she has been great doing the commands he is working on learning at home to help continue his progress.

Alyssa took great care of our 5 month old puppy. As it was our first experience with dog sitting, we were a little nervous, but Alyssa’s knowledge and calm energy put us at ease. Our dog had a great stay and we appreciated the pictures and updates. We will definitely book again with her!

Honestly they did a really good job with our girl. I could tell because when I picked her up she was fast asleep and didn't even realize I was there (she is a little hard of hearing though lol). When she realized I was there she calmly came up to me and greeted me. She wasn't anxious to leave like the last sitter's place she was at. They also took her on a bunch of short walks around the block and let her chill on their couch too. I could tell she was in very good hands. Will probably be booking again in the future!:)

Ivonne and her family are wonderful! Ivonne is attentive, kind, and so good with animals! My shy and sometimes difficult little dog was welcomed and embraced in her care. She was consistent with communication and sending photos and I felt good leaving my baby with her all day!

Joshua was great about caring for my puppy! My puppy came home happy and was well cared for/exercised. My pup might be a bit too big and energetic for his home, but that’s not his fault. He adjusted well to best care for my big, chaotic, puppy. I highly recommend!!

Haley, thanks for giving Timmy a safe and stimulating daycare day! I can tell he had a lot of fun going on adventures in the neighborhood with you. A good balance of exercise and rest is what he loves! Thank you so much for being flexible about pick up as well, we had a wonderful time at Ren Fair and hope you get to go next year! Definitely consider booking Haley, she made my anxious boy feel safe and met all his high strung needs. Anxious and attachment issues can be challenging, but she really did put him at ease. So thankful!

I think she is an amazing sitter. Very attentive to my dog. She kept in touch with me during the day and sent many pictures and updates which is a plus. She also caught that my dog was have some tummy trouble as well which I appreciated her letting me know right away. She goes out of her way to make sure my dog is having fun and is hydrated. I recommend everyone to choose Tran to watch your dogs they will be in very good hands. My dogs love her and they are always so excited to see her

David was absolutely amazing with our dogs. Both of them have their own unique quirks and personalities, and David took the time to really understand and work with each of them. He’s clearly a natural with dogs — calm, patient, and incredibly intuitive. One of the highlights was how well his own lovely dog got along with ours — they became fast friends, and it was so heartwarming to see them play together so effortlessly. David made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and engaged. He’s also a good communicator. He listened to my concerns, kept me updated, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It’s clear he doesn’t just watch dogs — he genuinely loves them. Truly the perfect sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to book David again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Flora and Frankie!
