My dog is a little terrier mix who has lots of energy and also some separation anxiety, so I am always a little nervous about new sitters who don't know my dog's personality. Also, my dog and I just moved here so this was the first time I'd be away from her, so I was even more nervous! But Tobi was great! She was very assuring about it all, and her fenced yard and her other dogs were great for dog Sadie. She was very attentive to Sadie's routine, and while I was gone sent me photos and videos of Sadie throughout her stay. She even gave me print-out photos when I picked my dog up! I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, hands-on care. I’m naturally a calm homebody, and my house is a very low-stimulation environment. This allows pets staying with me to receive lots of supervision, interaction, enrichment, play, and rest throughout the day. 1. Safety: I pay close attention to animals in my care- monitoring their health and ensuring their curiosity stays safely contained. I routinely check that gates, doors, and leashes are properly latched, feeding instructions are accurate, and any potential hazards are removed ahead of time. I follow existing medication and walking schedules, crate routines, feeding instructions, mobility support needs, coat and body care routines, and can offer light training reinforcement when needed. Although I have systems in place for maximum safety, I require vet contact information in the case of an unexpected emergency. 2. Trust: If you feel anxious being away from your pet, or just really miss them, asking to FaceTime or Zoom is welcomed and encouraged. I try to answer messages and calls as soon as possible, and will accommodate each booking to the best of my ability. 3. Environment: We have a comfortable 3 bedroom home that is tidy-but-lived-in, with a fully fenced in backyard, and plenty of room to play. There are carpeted stairs to get inside, outside, and upstairs, and central heat and AC throughout that we adjust accordingly throughout the seasons. Depending on temperament, comfort level, owner preference, and availability- pets from seperate families may enjoy carefully supervised companionship and/or their own private room during their stay. Animals who need separation during boarding- or who simply prefer quieter or smaller environments- will be provided with their own private room, with bedding and windows, to decompress, settle in comfortably, and feel safe and secure (limited availability). If you would like the entire home for your pet(s) stay, the daily price increases to $90/night and $35 per additional pet (please send this in your initial request).

About: (Just to clarify that headline is from Frozen.) I'm a former dog owner and I loved my elderly dog till she passed. I've also pet sat for multiple families over the last five years. I'm familiar with high anxiety dogs, dogs with diet restrictions, I've house sat for multiple dogs and cats. I also recently helped feed and home a stray mama cat and her kittens over the summer. I approach with calm, confidence and joy. Its important to me that when I first meet an animal, the critter feels safe to approach me in their own time. Some animals can be anxious so I try not to be over stimulating. I'm a care provider to a cherished family member, so I have flexibility through out the week to care for animals when I'm not with that person. My dog of ten years that passed had a special diet for a sensitive stomache, I had to wash her bedding more often. Even though she was a small breed I still took her on walks. As she entered her golden years I frequently took care of accidents, put her in diapers, took her to the doctors for her stomach and her anxiety. Gave her medicine to ease her ailments. I do the same for the animals in my care, make sure they are loved and cared for the way their per parents outline for me. Down to walks, play time and special food requirements. Our fur buddies deserve care for the unconditional love they give us.
