She kept in contact with us frequently via text, sending status reports and candid pictures of him as he went about his day. She has several cats and two dogs and he did very well with all of them. It was helpful that during our initial meet-n-greet she introduced herself to him first outside her home. Then we went inside and she gave him ample time to spend in the environment with her pets. Once he came over for his actual stay he settled in quite nicely and had a great time. Anita was lovely to work with and we'd definitely send Hunter to her again.”
About: I have always been in a home with pets. Currently have our dog (6yr) Cooper, 2 cats (Tobi and Lola), as well as a guinea pig. I work in office these days and only available evenings and weekends. During the summer my kiddos love to want money so have taken up some walking and daycare. My dog and I enjoy a good nature walk/hike during the day while the kids are at school and then sometimes a big adventure on the weekends. Our cats and guinea pig couldn't be more loved and cared for. They all thrive and enjoy each others company as well as my kiddos.

About: I am a huge fan of feline attitude, independence, and snuggles. I have seen my own past cats through their lives, from kittenhood, to their last breath, taking care of all of the medical concerns and love in between. You can feel confident leaving your feline friends in my care, because I will love them as though they were my own. As of May 31st, 2024, I have a 1/2 Maine Coon (Archie). He's amicable, gentle, fully vaccinated and free of any illness. When I house sit, he stays with my parents or my youngest, adult kid.

About: My first love was a German Shepherd at age 3, a gift from my grandfather. Since then I have taken care of many dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small fur friends all my life. I am a Forever Foster Mom for small dogs above age 8 for Old Dog Haven and right now take care of one small 15 year old fur friend named Tinker. I also have a 9 year old rescue Golden-doodle named Ava. I love taking care of small Dogs and Kitties (in your own home) so much I do not consider it work! I love taking care of your fur friend while you are at work or enjoy a vacation. I prefer small sized dogs up o 26 lbs. who get along with kitties and are non-aggressive. Oh, and we have a rescue Love Bird named Puffy who absolutely loves talking to visitors from his own "house" smile.. My middle-aged Lab is usually somewhat mellow and indifferent, but when he arrived for his second visit at Jennifer's house, he was super bouncy and excited! Jennifer has a big fenced yard and she has transformed her house for ultimate dog-friendly comfort. She sent pictures and updates throughout his visit, and even printed a beautiful photo of him for me to take home. About: I love pets in general, especially dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although my home is their haven, we rarely spend time indoors when it's not raining outside. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. I also provide supplemental training using positive reinforcement if a dog is still very young or experiencing behavioral issues that need to be corrected. I believe in treats/rewarding good behavior over correcting bad behavior. I'm firm when I need to be, but I'm never harsh. Lastly, I'm very sensitive to a dog's body language and verbal queues. About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.

About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

About: I grew up caring for small dogs, large dogs, chickens, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs… we lived on 4 acres, surrounded by other family members in the neighborhood, and I love all of the animals! I'll take 'em cute, crotchety, pudgy, feathered, or furred. :) I have regularly cared for pets of family, friends and business connections, in their home, or mine. I've seen my own pets through old age, and the related medical needs that come with that, so administering medications (oral, subdermal, dermal) doesn't phase me. Note that extensive medication schedules may result in added costs. I work hybrid, primarily, so there's ample flexibility in my schedule to match up with your needs. Since 2023, I work 4-6 hours/day, with a local company (I get to choose my shifts). I'm tidy, bring most of my own groceries (I appreciate it if you provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar, salt, pepper and cooking oil), and I love to bring healthy (approved) treats, and toys, for your pets. My Place: I live alone, in a 1 bedroom place, that I own. I have a few construction projects going, so it's not currently available for boarding, but I hope to have that service in the future. At my place, there's ample room for a small dog, cat, bunny or bird. A dog will be walked 3-5 times/day, depending on their needs. My little guy got his paw injured before I left on my trip and she did his best to help coordinate his care. She regularly communicated how he was doing to me, and when he needed to go to urgent care she was wonderful about getting him to a trusted family member to continue his care elsewhere. We love Jennifer and Champ and hope to see them again when Cosmo is all healed up!”
“Michelle and Samuel are the absolute best! My dog pit mix, Lazarus had the best time with their personal dog, which are BFF now! They send multiple pictures and videos all through out the day as they would include Laz in the daily walks, hikes, and fetch time, so I always know what he is up to (Helped Moms separation). Absolutely going to recommend Michelle and Samuel to friends and family, if they need a dog sitter. Don’t Think It Gets Better!! ??”
“Lizzie was incredible! My Bruce had sooooo much fun staying with her pack (human and animals alike). Her own dogs were very friendly with him and welcoming, and she spoiled him with lots of long walks, trips to the dog park, and games of fetch. He was a super happy pup when I picked him up and can't wait to book with her again!”

“I was able to board my dog Tex at Leslie’s on short notice and it turned out to be a great fit. Her dog Bruce is very well trained and got along great with my dog, who’s more interested in human friends than other dogs. She was able to administer his medication with no issues and kept the pups happy and active. She’s reliable, communicative, and took great care of Tex. I will definitely board my dog with her again! :)”
