It was helpful that during our initial meet-n-greet she introduced herself to him first outside her home. Then we went inside and she gave him ample time to spend in the environment with her pets. Throughout the day, Molly sends pictures to update me & even goes above and beyond by dropping Finley off home on the nights I work late. About: I love being around dogs. I’ve had them my whole life, and for the last 14 years I’ve raised my own—from puppy days all the way to senior care. My current dog is a total ball of energy, so I trained him to run with me while I bike, which has made me super patient and good with active pups. Dogs staying with me get a big yard to roam and a trail close by for walks or runs. I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever a dog needs—lots of activity, slow strolls, or just some company. I work remotely so I'm able to do boarding anytime. I do occasional walks around the neighborhood. We have a park right behind our home with a great trail to walk. I'm pretty flexible with other pet care responsibilities and would love to discuss what your needs are. I live in a home with a big yard with my husband and our 7 year old blue heeler, Bruce. He would love to keep your fur baby company.
About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.

I raised my own dog Koda from a 6wk old puppy to 16yrs old. She passed away in May (and im keeping her in my profile pictures for now) but now I have a dog friendly house ready to care for a dog. I've also spent time around dogs all my life and have recently started fostering through the Tacoma Humane Society too. About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

About: Since I was a baby I had a white Lab named Cooper. Best friends have always had dogs. 3 years ago me and my mom took care of two little Labradors. I don’t currently have them anymore due to health reasons my mom was facing but would love to spend as most time as possible with animals, especially dogs. I house sitted three dogs for a week, enjoyed every minute with it. Sprinting in a field with a dog is one of the most freeing experiences everyone needs to live. I am currently unemployed trying to find work before a trip in early July, Able to help anytime during the week, nite, etc. I have a very flexible schedule I can adjust so I’m able to spend lots of time with your pet.
