About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. In the past, I worked as a kennel assistant at an animal shelter, and I’m also a certified dog trainer who enjoys helping owners better understand their dogs. I love being active and spending time outdoors with dogs, and I’m passionate about keeping them healthy and happy. I have a 3-year-old German Shepherd named Kona, and in my free time, I enjoy training him and exploring the beautiful trails of Washington. I’d love the opportunity to meet and care for your furry friend! I’m currently available Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm for dog walking and drop-in visits. I also offer overnight boarding in my home by request! I will treat your dog like my own! I will follow your directions given to me about how to take care of your pet. I’m very detail oriented and will listen to the details. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or any specific details I should know.
“We love Jenna! I am new to the area and my regular dog walker went away for a month but luckily I found Jenna on Rover. She obviously really cares about animals and really takes good care of my 2 fur babies, not just walks but also great feedback on their behavior and mood and poo quality and such, which is really helpful for a busy single Pet Parent. And they clearly love her! Jenna is now part of our "pack" we book her regularly.”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have basically never known a pet-free life. I grew up with my dad, who is a professional dog trainer, so learning how to understand and work with animals started early for me. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even ferrets (yes, really) — I had two ferrets and a cat in college, and now I have two cats of my own. I regularly take care of my family’s pets when they’re out of town, and I take that responsibility seriously while still making sure pets feel relaxed, safe, and loved. I’m excited to expand my pet care and help more families feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have two cats of my own, and playtime is built into our mornings and evenings — it’s something my husband and I genuinely enjoy. We both work full-time (I’m a teacher and he works in the medical field), but during the day my mom or grandmother is home with my son, so there’s always someone around. That means pets are never left without care, attention, or a familiar presence, and I’m able to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine. Pets will be safe and comfortable in my home. We own our house and have both a fully fenced backyard and a fenced front yard, giving pets plenty of secure outdoor space. We love getting outside and regularly go on longer walks and trail excursions, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. Daily walks are already part of our routine, often with my son along for the fun. Inside, pets have space to relax, and I can crate a dog if needed or requested. I also have a calm, quiet area of the house for pets who prefer a more peaceful space or need a break from activity.
“Rachel was great with my pup's walk! Also was super about communicating with me when we had to troubleshoot my front door lock. Happy to rebook and recommend to anyone!”

About: Newly establishing myself in Tacoma for pet care after a decade of owning my own walking/boarding company in Seattle, working in veterinary, doggy daycare, and more. I love all dogs from puppies to elders, and will happily tailor my services to meet individual needs. Located in Proctor, I’m taking clients across Tacoma. I’m an artist by trade and love supplementing this work with dog walking as it gets me out of the studio and connects me with dogs, nature, and my community. There’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a dog. As the ultimate companion, I know how precious they are to their families, and how deeply important it is to care for each client as if they were my own. My boy, Stu, a 7 year old Cambodian pitbull means the world to me, so I make sure to offer the same level of care to my clients as I do to him.

“Haley is the best!!! I know my Luda is well taken care of and have been told she gets excited as soon as Haley pulls up. Luda has known Haley since she was a puppy and I feel so fortunate to have found Haley and team. Communication is excellent, Luda has the most fun, and Haley is a wonderful, professional lady who sends me lots of pics.”

“Anna has been wonderful! Our pup loves her and is so tired after her walk. Anna is excellent at communicating, prompt and flexible. Highly recommended Anna to care for your fur babes!”

Van is my dogs favorite person!! They have put in the time and effort to get to know his personality and make him feel special and cared for. He can be difficult at times and Van has been excellent at communicating and working through those moments with us. Not to mention the best dog photographer in town! 10/10 recommend booking Savannah to care for your pet

Reese was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Casper! She is very communicative and even sent cute pics of him on the walk. Casper is a rescue so he can be a bit anxious with new people, but he warmed up to her right away! Highly recommend and we will be booking again soon!
Chris was great! He was super prompt in responding, ready next day to walk Kain and did very well with him. Being that Kain is 180lbs it can be intimidating but Chris really made himself feel like they had been buddies for years. They went on a long 3 mile walk/jog so Kain was plenty tired! We will certainly use Chris' service again and would highly recommend!
