About: I’ve always grown up with lots of pets, and currently my family includes 5 pugs. I have experience with very large dogs, small dogs, newborn puppies, and elderly dogs. I love walking dogs and can take them out for as long or short of a walk as they need. I also have experience giving them medications including pills, ointments, and eye drops. I am not working a full-time job until the beginning of the school year, so I will have a lot of time and flexibility to do dog walking and drop-in visits in Tacoma every day of the week. I can take dogs on long or short walks, depending on their age and what they can handle while paying attention to how the warmer weather might affect them. I can also do check-ins to feed and play with your dog or cat, making sure to give them plenty of attention and care.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have basically never known a pet-free life. I grew up with my dad, who is a professional dog trainer, so learning how to understand and work with animals started early for me. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even ferrets (yes, really) — I had two ferrets and a cat in college, and now I have two cats of my own. I regularly take care of my family’s pets when they’re out of town, and I take that responsibility seriously while still making sure pets feel relaxed, safe, and loved. I’m excited to expand my pet care and help more families feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have two cats of my own, and playtime is built into our mornings and evenings — it’s something my husband and I genuinely enjoy. We both work full-time (I’m a teacher and he works in the medical field), but during the day my mom or grandmother is home with my son, so there’s always someone around. That means pets are never left without care, attention, or a familiar presence, and I’m able to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine. Pets will be safe and comfortable in my home. We own our house and have both a fully fenced backyard and a fenced front yard, giving pets plenty of secure outdoor space. We love getting outside and regularly go on longer walks and trail excursions, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. Daily walks are already part of our routine, often with my son along for the fun. Inside, pets have space to relax, and I can crate a dog if needed or requested. I also have a calm, quiet area of the house for pets who prefer a more peaceful space or need a break from activity.

About: I have been doing Rover for about 4 years with my mom and have pet care experience from jobs as well! I have a senior dog and 6 cats, so I have many years cleaning lots of litter boxes, messes, hair balls, and keeping spaces clean behind my belt. I can help with mobility issues and can administer medications (oral and injectable). I am very caring and patient and sending owners silly photos is one of my favorite things! Rover is my main priority and source of income so I have full availability weekends, week days, and holidays to spend time with your fur babies! My cats are indoor only so I know how to navigate escape artists and closing doors real fast. I have experience walking large dogs from previous Rovers and jobs. I am a great communicator and you will always know what is going on and receive updates and photos. I can bring in mail, take out garbage, feed chickens or ducks even! I always recommend a meet and greet as well to make sure everyone feels comfortable and stress free!

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. In the past, I worked as a kennel assistant at an animal shelter, and I’m also a certified dog trainer who enjoys helping owners better understand their dogs. I love being active and spending time outdoors with dogs, and I’m passionate about keeping them healthy and happy. I have a 3-year-old German Shepherd named Kona, and in my free time, I enjoy training him and exploring the beautiful trails of Washington. I’d love the opportunity to meet and care for your furry friend! I’m currently available Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm for dog walking and drop-in visits. About: Just want to add a note. Because I do not have kids or a dog of my own, I regularly travel to help friends and family in other cities and states. Sometimes with sitting, often with caregiving. If you see my location change or have questions about my availability in a different location, hit me up. I’m flexible unless previously booked. I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. I work from home Monday-Friday and as long as i have WiFi, I am flexible to work around your animals schedule. I’m also a bit of a homebody so I’m perfect for all the Covid dogs looking to keep their jobs as a shadow while their parents are out of town. At this time I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.
