I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, hands-on care. I’m naturally a calm homebody, and my house is a very low-stimulation environment. This allows pets staying with me to receive lots of supervision, interaction, enrichment, play, and rest throughout the day. 1. Safety: I pay close attention to animals in my care- monitoring their health and ensuring their curiosity stays safely contained. I routinely check that gates, doors, and leashes are properly latched, feeding instructions are accurate, and any potential hazards are removed ahead of time. I follow existing medication and walking schedules, crate routines, feeding instructions, mobility support needs, coat and body care routines, and can offer light training reinforcement when needed. Although I have systems in place for maximum safety, I require vet contact information in the case of an unexpected emergency. 2. Trust: If you feel anxious being away from your pet, or just really miss them, asking to FaceTime or Zoom is welcomed and encouraged. I try to answer messages and calls as soon as possible, and will accommodate each booking to the best of my ability. 3. Environment: We have a comfortable 3 bedroom home that is tidy-but-lived-in, with a fully fenced in backyard, and plenty of room to play. There are carpeted stairs to get inside, outside, and upstairs, and central heat and AC throughout that we adjust accordingly throughout the seasons. Depending on temperament, comfort level, owner preference, and availability- pets from seperate families may enjoy carefully supervised companionship and/or their own private room during their stay. Animals who need separation during boarding- or who simply prefer quieter or smaller environments- will be provided with their own private room, with bedding and windows, to decompress, settle in comfortably, and feel safe and secure (limited availability). If you would like the entire home for your pet(s) stay, the daily price increases to $90/night and $35 per additional pet (please send this in your initial request).

Is your dog shy, submissive or reactive with other dogs. No problem, I have lots of areas in the house and yard where they don’t have to be apart of the group of other dogs. I have one cat who is an indoor outdoor kitty. She has grown up with multiple dogs in the house. She has been around many dogs who don’t like cats, you’ll normally see her up in the trees or on the roof. I do have two kids in the house who have grown up with dogs. Along with safety respect is also something I value. My children respect the dog’s space. If your dog doesn’t like children or is nervous around them that is no problem. I strive to make sure my children are coexisting and having little interaction with our dogs who are not child friendly. All interactions with your dog are supervised, there will not be any interactions out of sight with the children. We take dogs with all kinds of personality. While your dog is here their comfort and happiness is my priority. It’s very easy to keep your dog and the kids separated.

“Van took great care of Mav during his stay. Response time was very quick and communication was clear. I received updates throughout his visit with plenty of pictures and videos. Mr. Mav got a nice long walk, playtime in a secure yard, grooming, and plenty of supervision and attention. They paid attention to his behavior and needs, including managing minor reactivity appropriately on walks. Mav came home happy, well cared for, and settled, and I would feel comfortable booking with Van again.”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life growing up and I have cared for them since I was a kid. Our family has owned several dogs over the years and I understand how stressful it is to find a reliable sitter. I am currently working full time from home so I can provide plenty of attention throughout the day with a large yard and walks mornings and evenings, in the many parks and trails right here in browns point. Full time working from home so I can give most of my attention to taking care of your loved ones. I like to provide morning and evening walks in the many trails and parks in the dash point neighborhood Large back yard for playing with many plants and trees. Clean and safe home free of hazards and good security. Very walkable neighborhood with parks and trails nearby
“Mckayla made my Rover experience such a breeze! I left my dog Lucy with her for almost three weeks and she was excellent at keeping me informed, communicating before, during and after pick up. She regularly sent me photos and updates of my Lucy during this time which really put me at ease while being away for so long. “Erin (and family 😊) were wonderful with Hazel. She can be a high energy greeter and the meet and greeent well. You can tell right away that the are experienced with dogs by the questions and approach. Hazel was living her best pupper life while staying with Erin. I highly recommend her especially if you like pics of your baby while you are separated.”
“Amanda did awesome caring for our Boston Terrier, Moses. She sent photo updates regularly and even let him sleep with them in the bed after I let her know how much he loves to snuggle and be close to humans! I feel like she knows what she is doing as she cares for all the dogs needs that are in her care! I recommend her to anyone looking for a place to board their pup and I will definitely be calling again to board, Moses. (probably towards the end of March) :)”
