About: My preferred name is Theo. Ive taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Dogs love me and I love doing everything with them. There’s nothing better than watching a dog enjoy its life. I currently am available at any time. So after I get my dog set for the day I’d go and check on any other dogs that need me. Take them out for a walk and play with them or get them settled back at home. I I currently live in an apartment but I always take dogs out on a leash unless the yard is fenced. And I have a dog first aid kit in my car always.

About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

About: Since I was a baby I had a white Lab named Cooper. Best friends have always had dogs. 3 years ago me and my mom took care of two little Labradors. I don’t currently have them anymore due to health reasons my mom was facing but would love to spend as most time as possible with animals, especially dogs. Your dogs will be my priority. My flexibility also allows me to be responsive to owners and accommodate changes when possible. I want both you and your dog to feel like they’re getting plenty of attention—not like they’re just another appointment on my calendar. Safety, trust, and making your dog feel comfortable are always my priorities. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and quirks, so I’ll take the time to learn what works best for yours rather than assuming every dog needs the same kind of care. For dogs staying in my home, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and live in a very walkable neighborhood for regular walks and exercise. My dog, Drogo, is friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs, but I think introductions are important. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so everyone can get comfortable and we can make sure our dogs are a good fit—especially with puppies or dogs who may need a little more time to adjust. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both your space and your dog’s established routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding meals, walks, medications or special care instructions, doors and gates, and anything else that helps keep your pet safe and comfortable. I also pay close attention to a dog’s body language. Some dogs want to be best friends immediately, while others need patience and space before they feel comfortable with someone new. I’m happy to let them set the pace. And of course, communication is a big priority for me. I’ll be responsive and keep you updated so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while they’re in my care.

“Jennifer was such a great host for my doggies. She made my first time with rover worth while and would love to book with her again for any vacations. She’s very experienced and knowledgeable of labs (I’m sure all other dogs). Since my dogs are young they could be a handful and with her experience she was able to do some training during their stay. I highly recommend her to first time rover users or just anyone looking for a skilled host with great professionalism and communication skills.”
