About: Hi there! I grew up with dogs and for the last nine years, have been a mom to my beloved chiweenie named Fynn. Friends, family members, and clients trust me with their dogs, for both short and long term stays, and I’d love to care for your pup. Fynn is very active, so we do at least two long walks a day. I live in the North End, so frequently walk in Puget Park and am always happy to take pups to Point Defiance depending on exercise needs. Of course, if your dog needs more rest, I’ll take that into account as well. I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication. She was easy to schedule with and assured me she would not take on any other pets while she watched my cat, which brought me a lot of comfort. It was harder to find a Rover with no other pets involved than I expected. A lot of sitters on Rover take on multiple pets at a time, lock them in separate rooms or crates or have pets of their own. Those circumstances create a stressful environment for both myself and my cat so I prefer a sitter that is able to provide a stable and stress free environment. She sent me daily updates and photos which is not required but was very much appreciated. Sammy was happy and purring in all of the videos and it brought me peace of mind. She even took him outside a little for fresh air which he loves— she went the extra mile. Her communication was great & timely and she easily built trust with me. “Juli was fantastic! This was my first experience with a pet sitter at all, much less Rover. She was patient and walked me through every step of the process. It’s especially tough finding a sitter for cats which makes sense - never before have mine really cared whether I came or left! But my newest addition is a little diva who needs all sorts of attention and Juli provided that. I felt comfortable leaving and knew that my kitty was well taken care of. “Highly recommend Carrie if you need a cat sitter! Carrie did check-ins for my senior cat while we were away for 7 days during Thanksgiving week. I was a bit nervous, as I've never had to leave my cat alone for that long before. The meet-and-greet with Carrie alleviated all my worries! She was wonderful with our cat, and gave him so much love, attention, and play time while we were away. Her update reports were always detailed and lovely to read, and she sent tons of great photos with each report. Everything was clean when we returned home (cat box empty/clean, litter swept off the floor). Carrie was always on time for meet-ups, check-ins, key exchanges etc, and is the perfect person to have check-in on your pet! :) I'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone to check on our cat!”

About: I love pets in general, especially dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although my home is their haven, we rarely spend time indoors when it's not raining outside. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. I also provide supplemental training using positive reinforcement if a dog is still very young or experiencing behavioral issues that need to be corrected. I believe in treats/rewarding good behavior over correcting bad behavior. I'm firm when I need to be, but I'm never harsh. Lastly, I'm very sensitive to a dog's body language and verbal queues. For example, I can distinguish between anxiety and boredom or when a dog is excited vs aggressive. You won't regret leaving your companion in my care. They will always be treated like family! I opened up my own tech business a couple months ago and I'm currently working from home. I'm available to host, walk and/or check in on your fur baby any day of the week. While your loved one is at my place, they will be able to have the run of it. I’m currently in a 700+ sq ft apartment. There’s definitely room for comfortable walking/running back and forth and the yard right outside my back porch, although unfenced, is huge and allows for easy access to leashed exercising/potty breaks. I always have toys and treats they’re more than welcome to. If house sitting at your home, I’d follow whatever instructions you lay out for me as long as my own dog is able to tag along.

I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. I work from home Monday-Friday and as long as i have WiFi, I am flexible to work around your animals schedule. I’m also a bit of a homebody so I’m perfect for all the Covid dogs looking to keep their jobs as a shadow while their parents are out of town. At this time I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a kid, have several cats at my home in West Tacoma, and love spending time with dogs of friends and family. I live in West Tacoma and have availability weekdays and weekends in mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Open for mid-day visits and walks, short or long term sitting, and more. I have cats in my home (and sometimes foster kittens) so I’m very familiar with helping cats get comfortable in new spaces or around me for the first time. Careful around open doors, clean and tidy, and respectful of your space!
About: I love pets in general, especially dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although my home is their haven, we rarely spend time indoors when it's not raining outside. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. I also provide supplemental training using positive reinforcement if a dog is still very young or experiencing behavioral issues that need to be corrected. I believe in treats/rewarding good behavior over correcting bad behavior. I'm firm when I need to be, but I'm never harsh. Lastly, I'm very sensitive to a dog's body language and verbal queues. For example, I can distinguish between anxiety and boredom or when a dog is excited vs aggressive. You won't regret leaving your companion in my care. They will always be treated like family! I opened up my own tech business a couple months ago and I'm currently working from home. I'm available to host, walk and/or check in on your fur baby any day of the week. While your loved one is at my place, they will be able to have the run of it. I’m currently in a 700+ sq ft apartment. There’s definitely room for comfortable walking/running back and forth and the yard right outside my back porch, although unfenced, is huge and allows for easy access to leashed exercising/potty breaks. I always have toys and treats they’re more than welcome to. If house sitting at your home, I’d follow whatever instructions you lay out for me as long as my own dog is able to tag along.
About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and treat them like I do my children! They are in great hands with me! Animal Activist here! I’m retired and thus I would be exactly what I want to do now that I’m free to. At this time I have no pets so this would be wonderful! I’m all about safety with pets and they are treated like my children. I do not have a fenced yard so in my home they would no go out unless on leash.
