My middle-aged Lab is usually somewhat mellow and indifferent, but when he arrived for his second visit at Jennifer's house, he was super bouncy and excited! Jennifer has a big fenced yard and she has transformed her house for ultimate dog-friendly comfort. She sent pictures and updates throughout his visit, and even printed a beautiful photo of him for me to take home. Jennifer is very responsive, quickly responding to my inquiries about scheduling and and answering questions. I knew my Nikko was in good hands and I felt 100 percent comfortable leaving my pup with her. I just hope she doesn't get too popular and busy!”

I send photo pupdates and shuttle dogs home between 3:30-4:30pm. 🚙 I can comfortably board dogs up to 2 weeks and make sure they still have a loved and happy time. 🧡 I’ve been working with cats & dogs since 2004 and would love to fill your best friend’s day with their favorite fun activities! :-) I start my dog walks and drop in cat care visits as early as sunrise. And, I say goodnight to my last customers by evening. From the moment I step through your door, I am happy to follow special feeding instructions, play their favorite games or take a neighborhood walk.

About: I love pets in general, especially dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although my home is their haven, we rarely spend time indoors when it's not raining outside. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. I also provide supplemental training using positive reinforcement if a dog is still very young or experiencing behavioral issues that need to be corrected. I believe in treats/rewarding good behavior over correcting bad behavior. I'm firm when I need to be, but I'm never harsh. Lastly, I'm very sensitive to a dog's body language and verbal queues. For example, I can distinguish between anxiety and boredom or when a dog is excited vs aggressive. You won't regret leaving your companion in my care. They will always be treated like family! There’s definitely room for comfortable walking/running back and forth and the yard right outside my back porch, although unfenced, is huge and allows for easy access to leashed exercising/potty breaks. I always have toys and treats they’re more than welcome to. If house sitting at your home, I’d follow whatever instructions you lay out for me as long as my own dog is able to tag along.

About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.
