About: Hi I'm Nicole! I’ve been dog-sitting for over 4 years for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company! I make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m a college student, so I’m home during breaks (including holidays) and for about four months in the summer. I also come home frequently on weekends during the school year. In the summer, I’m available any time of the week and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I have a large yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, and I always make sure to supervise them while they’re outside. My home is a spacious two-story house where dogs are free to roam and feel comfortable. I treat every dog like my own and many have even slept in my bed! I also have experience adjusting to each dog’s needs, whether that means crating them, sticking to a routine, or giving them extra attention and care.

About: I currently have a 7-year-old boxer/terrier mix named Kona, so I understand the daily needs, routines, and personalities that make each dog unique. I’ve also cared for strays in the past, making sure they were safe and well fed. I’ll treat your pet with the same attention and love I give my own. I’m in college Monday through Thursday mornings. This gives me plenty of free afternoons and daytime availability to care for pets and make sure they get the attention they need. I will ensure the dog(s) stay within their fenced area, ensure they're fed and their environment is clean and tidy. I will also ensure they get a good walk within the time limit set

“Karina was amazing from beginning to end. I felt a little skeptical about leaving my fur child with anyone unfamiliar. From texts before the drop off, Karina made me feel comfortable. I received texts, pics and videos of my dog continuously throughout the day to see my dog, adjusting to a new person and environment. I could see my bully taking to Karina very easily which gave me peace of mind while away. Karina was very attentive to my fur baby and making sure that she was her priority while under her care. When I picked up my dog the first thing I asked after expressing my appreciation was, if I ever have to leave my dog with anyone again, can I look you up on Rover and she said yes! About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.
