About: We have had many dogs throughout our life. Right now we currently have 2 small Havanese dogs - Daisy and Luna. We have two children, 15 and 13, and both dogs get along with all children and other dogs as well. We will take care of your dogs as though they are one of our own! We do take on more than one dog at a time. We have a fully fenced in yard where they love to run around and play. We live in a great neighborhood where we can go on long walks. We have two size crates should your dog require one. We look forward to spending time with your pet/s! I currently work full time as a teacher but am home by 2:30 and am able to come home during lunch breaks to let dogs out and walk them. And my husband works from home - so they always have company! My two dogs love other dogs so they will always have someone to play with. I usually go to the gym in the morning around 8-9am, and would love to get extra steps in whenever possible (ie walking dogs)! I perform thorough inspection to ensure my client’s home is free of pet droppings and/or potential messes. I ensure the pet has eaten their appropriately measured food, and check for any potential signs of distress or illness. One of my goldendoodles passed in 2024, but was able to stay with us a little longer because I noticed her lethargy early.

About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall.
