“Carol did a great job watching Buster. She's super reliable and really connects with dogs. Buster is a rather large dog, but Carol had no problems keeping him under control. I highly recommend Carol!”
“Jazmine was wonderful with my two corgis. One of my dogs has terrible anxiety, but Jazmine was able to really help her stay calm and get through her scared moments. She also did some training for my younger dog. She was always punctual, a very good communicator, and handled herself professionally.”

About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. I understand that having a new person around might be scary for your pet at first but I look forward to building a relationship with them so we all feel safe and comfortable. Having a nervous, reactive dog and a nervous cat has taught me how to better understand dog and cat body language and to go at their own pace.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for animals and extensive hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve been a dog owner since I was 15, and I currently have two French Bulldogs, which has given me a deep understanding of breed-specific needs, puppy energy, and senior pet care. Over the years, I’ve learned how to read dogs’ body language, understand their moods, and respond calmly and effectively to keep them safe and happy. Professionally, I’ve worked in both an animal hospital and a doggy daycare, where I gained experience with feeding routines, administering basic care, monitoring health and behavior, and handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’m also skilled in creating structured routines, providing gentle exercise, and giving extra love and attention to pets who need it, like seniors or shy dogs. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive. I make sure to communicate clearly with pet owners, providing regular updates and photos so they can feel confident and at ease while they’re away. For me, every pet deserves individualized care, respect, and affection, and I treat each one as if they were my own. My combination of personal experience, professional training, and genuine love for animals ensures that every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and truly cared for. Caring for pets is part of my daily routine. I make sure they get fed, exercised, and plenty of love every day, and I stay on top of any special needs or routines. I enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for. I care for pets by keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow their routines, supervise playtime and walks, provide lots of love and attention, and make sure the environment is clean and secure. I also watch for any signs of stress or health issues so pets always feel well cared for.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Seaside
Andrea was amazing to work with as always! And it is clear that our cats love her too! She is incredibly responsive and follows (even my most ridiculous) directions to a tee! As someone who is very anxious to leave my cats, I always feel like they are in great hands with her and I wasn’t worried at all on my trip.

Flora took exceptional care of our two cats while we were away. She is professional, friendly, and an excellent communicator. She always arrives on time, and is flexible when situations arise. I highly recommend Flora as a pet sitter because she is trustworthy, responsible, responsive, friendly, educated, and an excellent communicator.

Asja watched my cat over the holidays while I went home and was the best! She was able to match my schedule through the holidays and be there for my cat. She was very attentive and responsive and always kept me updated with pictures. Would defintely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Katie dropping in to check on my cat Penelope. Katie’s communication kept me in the loop throughout the week, providing reassurance that Penelope was well taken care of and happy. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone with pets to care for, and will be using her again in the future.

Jessica was great with our two cats, would totally recommend her to a friend! This was our first time using Rover and she helped us through the process. We got to meet beforehand so she could get familiar with the cats and their specific needs. We always got cute pictures from each visit. Our cats loved her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
