About: I grew up around horses and learned to respect all living creatures large and small. We always had pets at home and they gravitated towards me because I like to play and have fun with them. I had a cat for 16 years in my youth and loved her so much. Kitties will always have a special place in my heart. I have had many pets over the years and my most recent were two rescue shepherd/husky mix wonderful family members. They were brother and sister and both passed away. I do not currently have any pets of my own right now. Pet sitting is the joy of my life, and I cannot imagine a day without walking, playing and cuddling with furry friends. I am home all day and available to spend quality time with your fur babies! I am extremely flexible and am here for all of your pet’s needs. I like as much information about the pet as you'd like to give me. Whatever your pet needs, I will provide for them. I have lots of experience with anxious dogs and senior dogs and cats. About: Dogs are truly a humans best friend.🥰We enjoy taking them for walks, (helps keep us in shape😁) playtime and just bonding with them. When we needed sitters for our pup years ago, we appreciated our sitter checking in with us. We feel communicating with our neighbors, gives us all peace of mind. So if it’s ok with you, we will send a picture, or video to assure you that your pup is safe and sound. We have more time now, to enjoy God’s creation and do things that bring us real joy. We decided to start pet sitting again part time, to help fill that void.🫠 We prefer sitting at your home, so your pet feels comfortable and less stressed while you’re away, but we also don’t mind entertaining them at our home for the day. If so, it would be helpful if they’re crate-trained, in case we have to step away for a little while. It is of upmost importance to us, to see that your pet is safe and happy under our care. We love to spoil and treat them as if they were our own, so beware, they tend to not want us to leave.🥰

About: Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals I have and host. During the week, I work part-time from home, and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, midday, and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I can offer flexibility to meet your pet's needs at my home or in yours. My home is pet-friendly, accommodating, and safe. I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas, and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats, and play things are available at all times for all pets. About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. I understand that having a new person around might be scary for your pet at first but I look forward to building a relationship with them so we all feel safe and comfortable. Having a nervous, reactive dog and a nervous cat has taught me how to better understand dog and cat body language and to go at their own pace.

About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter primarily walking and socializing with the big dogs. I lost my senior cat Meemow and senior dog Harley this year (both 15). As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the couch or floor and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.
