They obviously liked her because they weren't overly excited when I came to pick up like they always are when I come home. She was very detailed about wanting specific details about feeding, going outside, sleeping, toys, treats, etc. and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them. We will definitely use her again. That being said, I probably wouldn't take a large dog because of it being a small apartment but it was perfectly fine for our small dogs.”

About: There was never not a dog in my house growing up, so caring for dogs is second nature to me. Over the years I’ve taken care of everything from purebreds to mutts, and while I’ve always had a soft spot for rescues, I love all dogs equally and treat every one like family. About: As a child we weren't allowed to have cats despite wanting one. My brother and I secretly fed and cared for a stray in our garage until we were caught and had to find a proper home for her. Now my parents have a cat! I've cared for Cali a few times in recent years when they would travel. About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. “While visiting Carmel, we needed someone to care for our miniature Australian Shepherd for a day. With no experience leaving Blu with anyone locally, we chose David through Rover. We met David for an introductory visit and he gave us a tour of his excellent facilities, introduced Blu to his own dog and cat, and immediately put us all at ease. When our plans changed at the last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the couch or floor and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.
About: We always had pets growing up, when I moved out I missed having those loving beings around me, so I started petsitting. My clients and friends know me as a reliable, loving and caring person and trust me with their loved ones. I am self employed so I can create my own schedule.
