I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the day. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and my weekends are usually open as well. I'm able to give pets plenty of attention during visits and can accommodate multiple visits per day when needed. I'm also happy to stay in local hotels with your dog while you go out and about!

For dogs, I provide a walk tailored to their energy level, followed by fresh water, feeding if needed and some extra attention and affection. For cats, I make sure food and water are refreshed, litter boxes are clean, and I spend time with them so they feel relaxed and cared for. If a pet has specific needs such as medication or a special routine, I carefully follow all instructions. Before leaving, I make sure everything is secure and the home is just as it was found. I always send photo and message updates so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe and well cared for.

I've been caring for animals for many years and have personally owned five beloved dogs throughout my life, including my current little companion Leo. All of my dogs lived well into their senior years, so I'm very familiar with the extra patience, gentleness, and care older pets need. I have experience caring for dogs and cats with medication schedules, mobility challenges, and special feeding routines. I've also provided overnight house and pet sitting for a home with three dogs and two cats over several years, making sure every pet received individual attention and care. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and especially enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. I'm patient with shy or anxious dogs and work at their pace so they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is always to make pets feel calm, loved and well cared for while their families are away.

I couldn't be happier with my senior kitty’s new sitter! My sweet Macy has reached the point of needing two visits a day when I am out of town. Denise’s care is extraordinary and worth every penny for both the well-being of my kitty girl, as well as for my peace of mind. Denise’s care and her attention to detail are exceptional! She is not only reliable, responsible, and trustworthy but she is equally warm, friendly, and gentle. Denise goes the extra mile - both my kitty and home were in excellent condition upon my return home - will be rebooking!
I accidentally provided the wrong address but Denise was great and it all worked out! Our pup who’s a nervous guy really warmed up to her. 10/10 recommend!
Denise took wonderful care of our kitty! She gave us great updates and pictures every visit, and we could see that our cat looked happy. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.
First time having Denise watch after my kitty who hadn't spent a night apart from me in 2 years, so I was concerned how it would go. But it seems Denise bonded quickly with my kitty and sent me photos during every visit which was much appreciated.
