About: I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with experience in emergency, intensive, and general care. I have a soft spot for pets with special needs and am able to administer all types of medication, including insulin. Do you monitor your pet's blood glucose level at home? No problem! I can obtain samples and record values. I'm trained to recognize when something isn't right, and can obtain veterinary care based on your directives. I utilize low-stress techniques for administering medication, and am comfortable handling a variety of temperaments, from cranky kitties to grumbly Chihuahuas! I provide lots of positive reinforcement to develop a bond with each dog or cat- my hope is for your little one to hardly notice that you're away! Open and honest communication is important to me - I can provide updates with photos, via email or text as little or often as you wish. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve helped take care of both in my own family and other family members pets for many years. Looking to help out pet owners in need of a sitter or walker! I work on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00pm-11:00pm. About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. I understand that having a new person around might be scary for your pet at first but I look forward to building a relationship with them so we all feel safe and comfortable. About: I have worked in the vet field for 5+ years. Also am familiar with boarding procedures. I.e: special feeding instructions, Separate feeding + meds etc I am a very active person. Walking for a good amount of time would not phase me and if your pets requires some outdoor time. That expectation will definitely be met. About: I have been taking care of animals like horses, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 7 years old. I became a veterinary assistant in 2022 and have now pursued a side passion in pet sitting and care. Every day, I take my dog out for a morning walk, an afternoon fetch game in the back yard, an evening walk, then a supervised backyard potty break before we sleep. On our walks, he gets to socialize and play with the neighborhood dogs as well. On weekends we go to the beach or the small dog park. He always has fresh water, good food, and the best treats! After a long day, I watch cartoons and he watches with me while chewing his bully stick to self-sooth before bed. This is how I will treat your pets, with the upmost love and respect. Just let me know what their special needs are, and I am going to take care of them like my own. I offer a very safe and loving environment. Whenever I take care of a dog, they usually try to pull their owner back to my place when it’s time to say goodbye. I love all pets, especially the ones who have attitude and can be a little spicy. I love the shy ones, and love seeing them open up to me. I love the rambunctious ones who fly off the walls. I love them all! I understand it can be hard to look for a pet sitter these days, but I promise you, your pets will be in the safest of hands. I want to get to know you and your pet and all of your guys’s needs, so if I ask you a lot of questions about them, it’s because I care and want to make sure your pet is comfortable.
