About: I’ve been a dog mom to an 9 year old Carolina-mix named Jake for eight years and a cat mom to Silas since he found us at just 10 weeks old. I love meeting new pets and would love to take care of yours when you’re away or out of town. I know how stressful it can be trying to find someone reliable and trustworthy to watch after your pet and I hope I can make your decision a little easier. If you’re visiting the Monterey area from out of town, welcome! We live just 3 miles from Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium, so if you’re looking for daycare while you explore downtown, my home is the perfect choice. Our dog-friendly neighborhood has several dog parks within walking distance and our fenced backyard is an ideal spot for your fur baby to soak up some sun. Your pup can expect to get lots of attention and will have plenty of human company while they’re here! I’m home the majority of the day — I take two classes at the Naval Postgraduate School, and when I’m in class, my husband is usually home with our animals. Your dog will be treated like family while they’re here. Every pup is different, so I spend a lot of time getting to know each and every one. Being in a new environment can be confusing for some dogs, so they have full access to explore our home, allowing them to find a spot that makes them feel comfortable. I pay extra special attention to their eating habits, potty break routine, and overall temperament. I tailor my approach to each pup and their unique personality to ensure they are at ease and feel relaxed during their stay! I also love to send a lot of photos and updates while you’re away so you can rest assured your fur babies are in good hands. I look forward to spoiling your dogs and can’t wait to meet you! First time Rover user? Use my referral link below to get $20 off your first booking with me! KELLYD08321 https://www.rover.com/sit/kellyd08321 I’m a full-time graduate student at Naval Postgraduate School with plenty of free time in-between classes, in the evenings, and on weekends. My typical routine involves a long walk in the morning with my pup, usually about a mile. Then in the afternoon, we go out for another walk/run to get some exercise. There’s always an evening, pre-bedtime walk, as well, and we go to our local dog park often! We have a two-story home with plenty of space to roam. If your baby isn’t equipped to maneuver up and down stairs, we do have a doggy gate that we can use to keep them on the ground floor. Pups can also enjoy the breeze and sun from our fenced backyard. We live in a wonderful neighbor with plenty of sidewalks to go on our daily walks, too, and the dog park is just around the corner! I’m happy to accommodate pets who are crate-trained and those who are not. If you’re working on any commands, routines, or behaviors, please let me know so I can continue training.

Angie is awesome!! I have a super high energy dog that needs 2+ miles every other day to be happy. Angie came with her bike, hooked my boy Bruno up, and off they went! He made friends with other walks she had to pick up along the way and came home tired each time! I would highly recommend Angie for dog walking services especially for high energy dogs!!

So happy with Marion’s daily dog walks for our two pups while we were away. We have an older girl (who cannot walk far) and a younger boy who has loads of energy and strength - so we appreciated her figuring out a way to get both their needs met in one walk. Top notch dog walking, super reliable. And our dogs loved her.

About: I loved dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of many different kinds of dogs since owning mine. My partner and I have a 4 year old, 70 pound golden retriever mix. I raised her mostly by myself for almost 3 years She is a rescue dog from the SFSPCA shelter. I have experience training reactive dogs because my girl had a big issue with biker and skaters. Now she is a lot more comfortable around them. I’m very patient, responsive, reliable and loving. Safety is very important to me. I will make sure your dog is in good care. Im currently not working so I have lots of flexibility to watch your fur babies. During the weekdays I can walk your dog at least three times a day.( morning, afternoon, and at night). My partner can also help out. I live in a spacious two bedroom condo. I have a patio with a grass patch, making convenient for pups to go potty on or play. There is also a dog trail for dogs to go walk in everyday. My dog gets along with almost everyone. She would love to have a friend If you are new to rover, use my link to get $20 off your first booking! https://www.rover.com/sit/astay00975 Code: ASTAY00975

About: Hello, my name is Sonia! I have worked with various organizations throughout Monterey County, where I received training in animal behavior and boarding. Over the past five years, I’ve gained valuable experience creating daily routines that help animals feel comfortable and cared for. I am currently a volunteer at the SPCA clinic as a vet assistant, and help at the cat and dog adoption center. I have also worked at a local veterinary clinic and am now a full-time Rover sitter! I am CPR certified and comfortable administering both oral medications and injections. During my time on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful pets and building great relationships with both them and their owners. I love sending daily photos and updates so pet parents can feel at ease while they’re away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns—I’m always happy to help. Thank you! :) P.S. My pup Tommy does not accompany me to visits or house sittings, so no worries if your pet prefers to be the only animal in the home. :) I recently graduated CSUMB and am working towards becoming a veterinarian and have a love for animals. I typically have an open availability and am comfortable with house sittings and drop ins. I love to have meet and greets to get to know the fur baby and their family. I have 9 years of previous experience with boarding animals and work well with sticking to the specifics of every pet's needs. I have experience with all different breeds, including those requiring extra medical attention. I am trained in administering injections as well. I can also care for reptiles, birds, and any other pet in the household.

About: Animals have always been my happy place. I’ve spent years caring for both cats and dogs, learning their unique personalities, routines, and needs. Every pet is different, but all deserve patience, attention, and genuine care. I don’t just “watch” pets—I connect with them. This is the 2nd time we have used Kyra for our boxer. He is deaf and 4 y/o. Kyra is very calm and laid back and walks our boy around the area while we have a relaxing dining experience on Cannary Row. She sends pics periodically which sets my heart at ease. I highly reccomend Kyra for your pup care.
