About: Hi! My name is McKayla and I am a big animal lover!! I have two friendly kitties named Snowbell and Penny, and a Boston Terrier named Sophie. In the past, I gained experience dog/cat sitting for family friends, but I am looking forward to broadening my care to dogs/cats in the neighborhood! About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve helped take care of both in my own family and other family members pets for many years. Looking to help out pet owners in need of a sitter or walker! I work on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00pm-11:00pm. All fully available days are Sunday through Tuesday though I am available to come help with pets anytime before 3:30 pm on work days! I love to keep dogs/cats active yet comfortable! I can also complete other tasks, such as light house cleaning and other chores if needed (rates may vary). My clients have older dogs and I make sure they get their daily exercise and a potty breaks during the day. I am also comfortable administering medication if needed.

About: I started off my Rover journey in Seattle for a few years until COVID hit, and continued to watch pets offline for military families while living in Japan for the past 5 years. Now that I’m back in the US, I’m eager to start up my Rover services again! I am mostly experienced with small-medium dogs, with breeds like terriers, poodles, chihuahuas, corgis, and shelties. I grew up caring for hamsters and parakeets, and started getting more involved with dogs and cats in university as I volunteered with local shelters and rescues. I’ve raised 2 dogs of my own, and also took in a stray kitten for a few weeks until finding a permanent home for her. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, but more recently I’ve learned a lot about caring for senior dogs as my own dog has entered the geriatric age and needs more patience and empathy. If you have a senior dog that needs special attention, I’m happy to accommodate their needs so you can have peace of mind that your pup is being cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in between jobs so I have plenty of flexibility during the week to drop by your home for some play time and exercise! I respect that every dog has individual needs. Whether they need extra time to warm up or want space from other walkers when out and about, I will learn and your pet’s preferences and advocate for them in public spaces to ensure they are safe and comfortable.

About: I grew up around animals, working on my grandparents’ ranch and helping to care for horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I’ve always found working with animals to come quite naturally for me. I first began pet sitting during high school, and in recent years I’ve fostered for local rescue organizations, taking care of and helping to socialize dogs who are up for adoption. My husband and I adopted our own rescue, Leroy, in February 2020 and are so grateful we did! I work from home during the week, and enjoy breaking up my workday with nature walks. Leroy and I love spending time with other dogs, and especially enjoy taking them with us to explore our beautiful neighborhood! I tend to talk often to Leroy and the dogs I’m caring for, and treat them more like little humans. The dogs I grew up with were treated like members of the family, and I’ll treat your dog with the same kindness and respect. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible and adaptable depending on the needs of the animal I’m caring for. We have a big, grassy, fully-fenced yard and a doggy door for pups to enjoy indoor/outdoor access as they please. As an example of my routine for my own dog (and when I have furry guests!), I usually take Leroy for a morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and a hike or beach walk in the afternoon/early evening, plus a short potty walk after dinner. I prefer to visit for a meet-and-greet before scheduling any bookings, so that I can get to know you and your pet. I only board or provide doggy day care for dogs who get along well with other dogs, as they will be spending their time with my dog Leroy as well. I like to have an in-depth understanding of their typical daily schedule, so that I can stick to it closely during our time together. My goal is for your pet to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible, which to me means sticking to their usual routine and activities. I will follow your directions to a tee, and be in contact with updates regularly to keep you informed. If I'm house sitting, dog walking, or doing drop ins, I am happy to care for non-social pups as well. I'll treat your space with the utmost care and respect.
