“Natalie is the best. I've tried a few other sitters when she wasn't available but it wasn't the same. Her Rover cards at the end of each really visit shows she cares. The best photos, I really feel that my boy is safe with her.”

“Mari is fabulous! Nat was a bit unhappy to be woken from her nap but Mari handled it like the pro she is. They had nice, productive walks and her communication was top notch. She was always on time, gave me a full rundown and she is a lovely person. After meeting with her, I was at ease knowing me sweet senior pup would be well taken care of and I was spot on. I will happily use Mari again and recommend her without hesitation. In fact, I already have some upcoming dates in mind and felt comfortable in booking my next trip knowing my baby would be well taken care of in my absence. Thank you Mari for taking such good care of Nat and being so accommodating.”

About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter primarily walking and socializing with the big dogs. I lost my senior cat Meemow and senior dog Harley this year (both 15). As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the couch or floor and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

“She was super sweet and really went out of her way to make my anxious and shy dog feel comfortable. Shannon is super reliable, communicative, and sends dog pics. If I could give her 6 stars I would!”

I understand the need to ensure pet needs are injected into your human routine. I evaluate the needs of each pet client and plan my work and personal obligations around their needs. “Brooke made my first experience with Rover a positive one. She was sweet enough to pop over the night before for a meet & greet, and was warm and professional. Maple took to Brooke right away, and that put me at ease. Will be calling Brooke again!”

About: I grew up helping friends, family and neighbors with their cats and dogs. I have taken care of small dogs and big dogs alike. I have experience with senior dogs who need more love than activity. I currently work full time, but I am remote on Fridays. I have ample time available on the weekends to provide support for your furry friend. If you need someone to help with your furry love our house sit for the week of the 4th of July, I’m off that week and available! I allow my pets on the couch, but they have multiple beds to choose from. They have access to water and are secured in the apartment. We only take walks on leash, and I have a gate to keep them secure if the front door needs to be opened. If a client requires a crate for their pet, they will need to bring it.

About: Letty is a Carmel native and proud sixth-generation Californian. She studied business at the University of San Francisco and continued her education in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Courtauld Institute of Art. After living abroad, she returned to the Monterey Peninsula, where she brings her creativity to local projects. With a lifelong love of animals, Letty is happy to care for dogs and other beloved pets - because there’s nothing quite like the bond we share with them. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, decorating, supporting local charities, and spending time with her niece. Pet care easily becomes part of my daily rhythm—I genuinely enjoy it. I build my schedule around walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, making sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and not rushed. I care for pets by sticking closely to their established routines - feeding, walks, playtime, and rest - while giving them lots of attention and companionship. In a client’s home, I also make sure to respect the space, keep things clean, and follow any specific instructions exactly as provided.

“We had a great experience with Nicole. My dog warmed up to her right away, and it was clear that she understands dog behavior and knows how to build trust quickly. She was calm and gentle, and gave my dog space to settle in and feel at ease. I was visiting from out of state, and having a sitter I felt comfortable leaving my dog with allowed me to spend a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a highlight of my trip, and I was able to enjoy it knowing my dog was in good hands. She kept me updated throughout the walk with messages and photos. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable with Nicole. For a dog who usually wants to be by my side, that says a lot. I would absolutely book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dependable sitter.”

“Elizabeth is wonderful! She is great with the pups and great with communicating with me. I'm super appreciative of the attention she gives to them and the great pictures. She has great dog sense and I trust her with the pups. I will definitely call her again!!”

“dropped Baci off and he immediately took to Kai. We went to luch for 2 hours, and picked Baci up after his walk and play time with Kai and his dogs. I would definitely use Kai again.”

Brooke is awesome! She walked my very excitable pup at last minute's notice. I could tell immediately that she loves animals and has had a lot of experience. She seemed to have confidence in herself to be able to manage a new dog without a problem. That made me confident too. And my doggie loved her! :)

Kai is absolutely amazing. I would only leave my dog with the best of the best. I honestly went to so many sitters and Kai has been the one that is the most caring. He sends me pictures and updates and my dog gets so excited to see him. He truly loves animals and I would recommend him to anyone.
