About: Easy going and adaptable dog walker with experience! Animal lover and grad student wanting to work on the side! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently a full time graduate student which consists of a pretty busy schedule during the week but leaves the weekends very open. Also, on breaks, usually consisting of 4-6 weeks at a time, my schedule is wide open to accommodate a variety of dog walking needs. I have a fenced backyard with a moderate amount of space to run around. When dog sitting or walking, I always try to be aware and alert during social situations and pay attention to the needs of your dog while making sure they can get their energy out!

About: Hello! I’m a pet parent to three cats and a senior Yorkie, as well as a trained Doggy Day Out volunteer at SPCA Monterey County. I love taking care of pets and giving you peace of mind. I believe in treating pets with kindness and using low-stress, cooperative-care approaches whenever possible so they can feel safe and comfortable. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for drop-ins, dog walks, and house sitting. I will carefully follow your instructions, pay close attention to any changes in your pet, and provide clear updates. I also hold an online Pet CPR & First Aid certification through American Health Training and a certificate of completion for Fear Free Shelter Program training, which have helped me learn how to recognize common warning signs, reduce pet stress, and take appropriate next steps in a pet emergency.

About: I have the most experience with various dog breeds young and old. More recently I have grown to also love and care for cats. Most of my full time experience has been with my personal dogs. Zoe, an Australian Shepard, was a shining light in my life for 14 years. Prior to Zoe I had Max, a sweet and gentle Rottweiler I was with for 6 years. For the past 4 years I've been spending a lot of time caring for the beloved pets and homes of my friends and family. I'm a retired teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do some regular volunteer work with cancer patients a few hours each week. I walk or hike daily and a furry companion would be welcome. It's one of the main reasons I signed up for Rover! I am also now on Trusted Housesitters and have experience caring for pets in client's homes. I could have a pet in my home for short visits. I live near a lovely wooded trail that dogs LOVE.

About: Always had a love of animals cats and dogs. Pets are all lovable in their own fun and unique ways. I would one, guarantee your pet friends are looked after with the most care and attention and two keep, in close contact with you providing updates and photos throughout 🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛🐾 On the weekends I’m the most flexible both during the day and night. Weekdays I’d be available 4pm and after for walks, drop ins or stays. I can’t provide lodging at the moment but regarding drop in or stays I’d treat anyone and anyone’s home as I would friends and family.

About: I love dogs, I grew up with two and have also helped sit for my sister and best friend’s dogs for the past 3 years. I am a reliable person to help care for your pet. I am currently a full-time student at CSU Monterey. I live in San Jose and commute for classes. I will be able to give your dog walks and lots of attention before/after leaving for class and I am available all day on the weekends. I can walk your pet in your neighborhood if that is comfortable for you. Or I can bring toys for them and keep them in your home. Either way my goal is to make sure that you’re pet is given attention and an outlet for exercise.

About: My boyfriend (& roommate) and I both have a lifelong love for animals and am really missing having pets around! I’ve grown up with all sorts of dog breeds ranging from Pit Bulls to Havanese and feel comfortable around them all. I’ve also opened my home to foster dogs, embracing the joys and challenges that come with caring for both older dogs and newborn puppies. My commitment to the well-being of these animals extends beyond routine care to creating a warm and loving environment that caters to their individual needs. I have a fully remote job so I am at my house most of the day with lots of spare time for walks and cuddles. My boyfriend Will is also obsessed with both dogs and cats and gives them even more attention when he is home before and after work. While we are in the upper unit of a duplex, we have a fully fenced yard and live in a great very walkable neighborhood. I have space in my house for a crate and any other supplies needed to make your pet feel comfortable. I live with my boyfriend who is also a huge animal lover so rest assured your pet will get plenty of love and attention! Please note we do have stairs to get up to our unit with a large deck that gets lots of sun!

About: I've been caring for animals for many years and have personally owned five beloved dogs throughout my life, including my current little companion Leo. All of my dogs lived well into their senior years, so I'm very familiar with the extra patience, gentleness, and care older pets need. I have experience caring for dogs and cats with medication schedules, mobility challenges, and special feeding routines. I've also provided overnight house and pet sitting for a home with three dogs and two cats over several years, making sure every pet received individual attention and care. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and especially enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. I'm patient with shy or anxious dogs and work at their pace so they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is always to make pets feel calm, loved and well cared for while their families are away. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and my weekends are usually open as well. I'm able to give pets plenty of attention during visits and can accommodate multiple visits per day when needed. I'm also happy to stay in local hotels with your dog while you go out and about! I take time to carefully follow each owner's instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and daily care so pets feel as relaxed and secure as possible while their families are away. I'm attentive to details such as making sure doors and gates are secure, leashes are properly fitted for walks, and the home is left just as it was found. From handling young pups and kittens to hand feeding senior cats and dogs. I am available all of sunday-wednesday! I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals I have and host. During the week, I work part-time from home, and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, midday, and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I can offer flexibility to meet your pet's needs at my home or in yours.
