About: I grew up next to a dog park and spent most of my free time around dogs, learning their personalities, body language, and energy naturally from a young age. I began pet sitting during my teen and college years, and over time developed a strong ability to help animals feel safe, comfortable, and understood. While attending school in Boston, I also worked at a pet supply shop, where I regularly interacted with dogs and their owners and further developed my understanding of pet care, behavior, routines, and different personality types. Professionally, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and caregiver, which has strengthened my skills in patience, consistency, structure, emotional awareness, and reading behavior cues. I’m especially good with sensitive, shy, anxious, high-energy, or routine-oriented pets because I naturally bring a grounded and calming presence. I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and maintaining routines that help pets feel secure while their owners are away. Whether that means energetic walks and playtime, quiet companionship, or extra attentiveness to specific needs, I adapt to each pet individually. I also have experience caring for pets in clients’ homes and understand the importance of respecting both the animal’s environment and the family’s space. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy creating consistent, attentive care for animals throughout the week. Currently, I’m available for morning care and walks until noon, as well as evening care after 7 PM on weekdays. I also have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for pet sitting, extended care, and overnight stays. I enjoy incorporating walks, outdoor time, play, feeding routines, and calm companionship into my schedule, and I’m committed to providing reliable and consistent care that helps pets feel comfortable and secure. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where pets can feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, rest, medications (if needed), and overall structure. I understand that consistency helps pets feel more relaxed and emotionally settled, especially when their family is away. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, energy levels, and each pet’s individual personality and needs. My background as a caregiver and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) has strengthened my attentiveness, patience, and ability to remain calm and observant in different situations. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, reliable with communication, and committed to keeping both pets and owners comfortable throughout the experience. Safety is always my top priority during walks, outdoor time, feeding, and supervision. I aim to create an experience where pets feel genuinely cared for — not just watched.

About: Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals I have and host. During the week, I work part-time from home, and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, midday, and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I can offer flexibility to meet your pet's needs at my home or in yours. My home is pet-friendly, accommodating, and safe. I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas, and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats, and play things are available at all times for all pets. I also set areas for downtime, relaxation, and naps inside and outside the house, and provide regular interaction and amusement throughout the day.

About: I have been helping friends and family take care of their pets for years and have two cats of my own. I would love to help take care of your fur babies! I have a work from home job, so my schedule is very flexible and I can work with you for what works best for you and your pet. I am experienced in keeping both my cats very well taken care of and often help my mom take care of her little dog. I am happy to accommodate any requests that you may have for your pets.

About: I love dogs, I grew up with two and have also helped sit for my sister and best friend’s dogs for the past 3 years. I am a reliable person to help care for your pet. I am currently a full-time student at CSU Monterey. I live in San Jose and commute for classes. I will be able to give your dog walks and lots of attention before/after leaving for class and I am available all day on the weekends. I can walk your pet in your neighborhood if that is comfortable for you. Or I can bring toys for them and keep them in your home. Either way my goal is to make sure that you’re pet is given attention and an outlet for exercise.

About: I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets throughout the years. I also have experience working with the SPCA as a volunteer. I am a responsible sitter who can walk, bathe, feed, play with, and tend to your pet! *the one thing I can not do is administer medication via injection!* Please reach out to me and we can find a schedule that works! About: My boyfriend (& roommate) and I both have a lifelong love for animals and am really missing having pets around! I’ve grown up with all sorts of dog breeds ranging from Pit Bulls to Havanese and feel comfortable around them all. I’ve also opened my home to foster dogs, embracing the joys and challenges that come with caring for both older dogs and newborn puppies. My commitment to the well-being of these animals extends beyond routine care to creating a warm and loving environment that caters to their individual needs. I have a fully remote job so I am at my house most of the day with lots of spare time for walks and cuddles. My boyfriend Will is also obsessed with both dogs and cats and gives them even more attention when he is home before and after work. While we are in the upper unit of a duplex, we have a fully fenced yard and live in a great very walkable neighborhood. I have space in my house for a crate and any other supplies needed to make your pet feel comfortable. I live with my boyfriend who is also a huge animal lover so rest assured your pet will get plenty of love and attention! Please note we do have stairs to get up to our unit with a large deck that gets lots of sun!

About: I've had dogs nearly my entire life, enjoying them from puppyhood to senior age. As my kids grew up, I have also taken care of hamsters, bunnies, lizards, turtles, and parakeets. But most of all, I love dogs. My dog Rainie is an English lab, half chocolate/half yellow who loves playing with other dogs, especially other labs. I'm very familiar with the needs and limitations of senior dogs and can adapt our routines accordingly. I only host one dog at a time to ensure everyone gets enough peace and pettings. We can host caged pets at the same time (small reptiles and parakeets). I'm retired and can host your pet anytime with advance notice. My calendar will accurately indicate my availability. My regular routine includes walking and gardening with our guest dogs. I have a large fenced yard and a single level home 8 steps above ground. Your dog will spend most of their time wherever I happen to be and will be given regular potty breaks. Your dog will enjoy romping in the yard for extended periods under supervision, but will not be left unattended in the yard. Please provide detailed feeding and medication instructions and I will follow them to the letter. Tell me about your dog's special likes, dislikes, fears, and behavioral quirks so we can make dog feel at home. Your dog must be able to manage the steps to get in and out of the house, be willing to use the doggie ramp, or be small enough for me to carry up and down. Must be housebroken. Please provide crate if crate trained and more comfortable in the crate. Or, provide favorite bed or blanket. Otherwise, we have a collection of blankets. Please bring your dog's favorite toy. Some large dogs accepted, depending on size, breed, and degree of training. A meet and greet is a must for most dogs. Pit bulls, Rottweilers, and Dobermans will not be accepted under any circumstances. I realize that many individual dogs are very sweet, but as a rule, these breeds unnerve me, and the dog will sense that.

About: We always had pets growing up, when I moved out I missed having those loving beings around me, so I started petsitting. My clients and friends know me as a reliable, loving and caring person and trust me with their loved ones. I am self employed so I can create my own schedule. I am flexible and cater to the needs of my customer. I am sure we can work someting out. I will strictly obey the wishes of my client to make sure their pets are safe and well taken care of. However the clients handle the safety of their pets.

About: I love animals! In the past, I volunteered at Animal Friends Rescue Project in Pacific Grove and I loved it! I currently have two dogs that I take very good care of. I am currently attending California State University, Monterey Bay, full time, but I will definitely try my best to schedule my services around my schedule. I don’t allow clients to board their pets at my own house, but I will make sure to keep your pet as safe as possible at your house or on a walk.

About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. And, I spend time either playing with them or going for a walk, depending on the service and the clients' request.
