Single, mature female conveniently located in Carmel-by-the-sea close to Carmel Beach & downtown. I have loved animals all my life. My background includes ranching, livestock & pet care. My sheep and horses followed me around like a loyal dog in my childhood. I raised sheep for 4-H & showed horses. Our family Ranch had Australian Shepherds & Queensland Heelers as working dogs plus the family pets dogs, cats, rabbits, and various creatures. Dogs & horses are my favorite animals. The neighbors pets tend to follow me home. I am neat and organized. I understand the behavior cues of animals. My beloved fur baby Toby a small Terrier/Chihuahua mix passed away last June at 17 years old. I am enjoying the pleasure of caring for and going on adventures with a wide variety of dogs while I carefully search for my new canine family member. My schedule is very flexible. I am available to give your pets lots of love. I can provide stimulating play & varied activities for your dogs. I will custom tailor outing/adventures to your dogs unique personalities & special needs such as varied walks on the beach, trails and parks. Play dates can be arranged. Personalized pet care is available in your home, vacation rental or hotel. I would be happy to keep your fur baby company while you go out to lunch, play golf, visit The Monterey Bay Aquarium, etc. I accept same day reservations. Available for Weddings & Special events. I am wide open to fulfill your pet care needs. 24/7 Lots of love, cuddles, exercise, toys and sunshine to make your buddy feel happy. Services offered walks, drop-in visits, day & night care house/pet sitting in your home, vacation rental or hotel short or long term. Bathing, play dates, pet salon, vet visits, and more.

Julia was very responsive, went above and beyond in terms of cleaning paws and leaving the dogs with a treat. Highly recommend.
Julia was great with our dog, Hendrix while we went golfing. Drop off was easy and she brought him back to our place after. We got lots of photos of him on the beach during his many walks. I felt that he was being well taken care of!
We had a fantastic experience with Julia caring for our two dogs for the evening. She was available on short notice and ensured they had plenty of exercise with multiple walks during their stay. Her experience was evident, and she kept us updated throughout the evening with frequent photos and messages. We felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in her capable hands, and we wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to her again whenever we’re in town.
Orly, my two-year-old border collie, loves her time with Julia. Orly is normally very shy and can be slightly reactive but Julia was able to make her feel comfortable quickly. We rebooked with her immediately and we intend to use her time and again. She is accommodating, quick to respond, caring and professional.
Julia took fantastic care of our dog, Milo, while my husband and I went hiking in Big Sur. She went above and beyond to make sure that Milo had a fun day of adventure around town. It was clear that Julia was experienced and really loved dogs!
