I'm currently a stay at home Mom, and have been for almost 5 years. I miss the animal field and thought this would be a great way to get back into it with my new responsibilities as a mother!

Depending on the pet and situation. I will always assess the animal first and make sure they are comfortable with me by reading their body language. If they are nervous, I will not make eye contact, instead I will go slow and give space. If they are happy to see me, I of course will love on them! I'm comfortable with all medication administration as well.

A typical day
Enrichment is so important! Playing hide and seek when their haven't toys, introducing new treats (if okayed by owner), and working and continuing tricks/behaviors or teaching new ones if the owner desires!

I've worked with all kinds of animals for over 10 years. I've worked at veterinary offices as a technician, assistant and receptionist. I've worked at, and volunteered for zoos and an aquarium. I've also been a dog trainer at zoom room for over a year.

Andrea was so wonderful with Gertie. She arrived early or on time for every appointment and her check-in notes were thorough and detailed- even though Gert tried to throw every curveball she had at her! Would book again a million times!
Andrea provided such kind care to our 4 month old puppy. Her diligent attention to details made it as if we were there and the routine just continued. She provides thoughtful updates let us know our puppy was well cared for.
I felt very comfortable leaving my two cats to be taken under her care while I was away on a long weekend. She was communicative and responsive. It even seemed my shy cat was willing to warm up to her?
Andrea took care of our older cat while we were on vacation. We really appreciated her kindness and thorough updates. She also was able to give our cat her needed medicine. Highly recommend!
