About: I've had dogs nearly my entire life, enjoying them from puppyhood to senior age. As my kids grew up, I have also taken care of hamsters, bunnies, lizards, turtles, and parakeets. But most of all, I love dogs. My dog Rainie is an English lab, half chocolate/half yellow who loves playing with other dogs, especially other labs. I'm very familiar with the needs and limitations of senior dogs and can adapt our routines accordingly. I only host one dog at a time to ensure everyone gets enough peace and pettings. We can host caged pets at the same time (small reptiles and parakeets). I'm retired and can host your pet anytime with advance notice. My calendar will accurately indicate my availability. My regular routine includes walking and gardening with our guest dogs. I have a large fenced yard and a single level home 8 steps above ground. Your dog will spend most of their time wherever I happen to be and will be given regular potty breaks. Your dog will enjoy romping in the yard for extended periods under supervision, but will not be left unattended in the yard. Please provide detailed feeding and medication instructions and I will follow them to the letter. Tell me about your dog's special likes, dislikes, fears, and behavioral quirks so we can make dog feel at home. Your dog must be able to manage the steps to get in and out of the house, be willing to use the doggie ramp, or be small enough for me to carry up and down. Must be housebroken. Please provide crate if crate trained and more comfortable in the crate. Or, provide favorite bed or blanket. Otherwise, we have a collection of blankets. Please bring your dog's favorite toy. Some large dogs accepted, depending on size, breed, and degree of training. A meet and greet is a must for most dogs. Pit bulls, Rottweilers, and Dobermans will not be accepted under any circumstances. I realize that many individual dogs are very sweet, but as a rule, these breeds unnerve me, and the dog will sense that.

About: I have been helping friends and family take care of their pets for years and have two cats of my own. I would love to help take care of your fur babies! I have a work from home job, so my schedule is very flexible and I can work with you for what works best for you and your pet. I am experienced in keeping both my cats very well taken care of and often help my mom take care of her little dog. I am happy to accommodate any requests that you may have for your pets.

About: I love dogs, I grew up with two and have also helped sit for my sister and best friend’s dogs for the past 3 years. I am a reliable person to help care for your pet. I am currently a full-time student at CSU Monterey. I live in San Jose and commute for classes. I will be able to give your dog walks and lots of attention before/after leaving for class and I am available all day on the weekends. I can walk your pet in your neighborhood if that is comfortable for you. Or I can bring toys for them and keep them in your home. Either way my goal is to make sure that you’re pet is given attention and an outlet for exercise.

About: My boyfriend (& roommate) and I both have a lifelong love for animals and am really missing having pets around! I’ve grown up with all sorts of dog breeds ranging from Pit Bulls to Havanese and feel comfortable around them all. I’ve also opened my home to foster dogs, embracing the joys and challenges that come with caring for both older dogs and newborn puppies. My commitment to the well-being of these animals extends beyond routine care to creating a warm and loving environment that caters to their individual needs. I have a fully remote job so I am at my house most of the day with lots of spare time for walks and cuddles. My boyfriend Will is also obsessed with both dogs and cats and gives them even more attention when he is home before and after work. While we are in the upper unit of a duplex, we have a fully fenced yard and live in a great very walkable neighborhood. I have space in my house for a crate and any other supplies needed to make your pet feel comfortable. I live with my boyfriend who is also a huge animal lover so rest assured your pet will get plenty of love and attention! Please note we do have stairs to get up to our unit with a large deck that gets lots of sun!

About: Prior to now, I have owned two dog boutique hotels that I have personally built from the ground up. I am familiar with all kinds of doggies and their personalities. All doggies are special to me and will receive nothing but the best of care and affection. I am currently taking care of pups in your own home unless we discuss and or have made other arrangements. I am also a commissioned artist so I would not be leaving to another job, your pup(s) would be my only concern. I might go run a couple errands, grocery store, etc... but I would enjoy just being home with your pups and painting, exercising them, playing with them or just doing whatever they are familiar in doing with you. As to your own personal instructions only. I understand, every dog has their own individual personality and each puppy has special needs. I will accompany each puppy as you wish.

About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. And, I spend time either playing with them or going for a walk, depending on the service and the clients' request.

About: We always had pets growing up, when I moved out I missed having those loving beings around me, so I started petsitting. My clients and friends know me as a reliable, loving and caring person and trust me with their loved ones. I am self employed so I can create my own schedule. About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter primarily walking and socializing with the big dogs. I lost my senior cat Meemow and senior dog Harley this year (both 15). As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the couch or floor and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.
