I am a marine biologist currently applying for graduate programs and have lots of availability! I spend lots of time working or walking which either cats or dogs would fit perfectly. I like to take notes and ask questions to ensure all logistics are taken care of when in a clients home. About: I have grown up as the eldest of three siblings and the owner of pet seahorses, hamsters, dogs, and bunnies. Caregiving is second nature to me. I worked for a breeder and helped care for a litter of 6 from birth to 8 weeks. They have access to water and are secured in the apartment. We only take walks on leash, and I have a gate to keep them secure if the front door needs to be opened. If a client requires a crate for their pet, they will need to bring it.

About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. And, I spend time either playing with them or going for a walk, depending on the service and the clients' request.

About: I’ve sat for friends and family through out the years. I’ve also taken care of my own animals for years and have become more attentive throughout the years of getting older and being in charge of 2 dogs and 2 cats at one point. I’m used to being around rescue animals with anxieties as all of my animals have been rescued. I would love to care for your pets and treat them as one of my family members and best friend. Since living in an apartment I had to leave my childhood dog at home with my mom. I’m used to giving medicating in food and treats as well as through syringes in the mouth. About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!
