About: Hello! I am an active PG resident who LOVES animals. I have a job in Carmel that I adore, but I need more dogs/cats in my life! I have a leash-trained cat who traveled the country with me for 2 years, and he’s the light of my life, but I have more love to give. I’ve been professionally/informally caring for animals my entire life. I’ve worked primarily with dogs/cats, but have also lived on several farms around the world where I cared for: donkeys, horses, cows, sheep, goats, and chickens to name a few. Raising a leash-trained cat has been an eye opening experience for me. Because of it, I’m skilled at reading an animal’s emotional state, and am often able to redirect when an unwanted behavior begins brewing. I believe in positive reinforcement, respect, and play! I have experience training both dogs and cats (yes, cats can be trained!) Some unique things I bring to the table: - 20 years of experience caring for cats. I think I’m particularly good at caring for anxious kitties, and smart/active kitties (i.e. ones that LOVE being trained). - I’m an active and strong person. I can pretty much always meet a dog’s energy needs and provide a wide variety of different exercise (rollerskating alongside them, long walks, throwing balls, tug, running around with them). - The main reason I’ve rejoined Rover is because I simply want more animals in my life! I would love to foster dogs, but my current living situation doesn’t allow for that. I LOVE when my friends go away and ask me to care for their pets, but they don’t take enough vacations! ¨̮ I work in Carmel Monday through Friday, from 9-3, so I’m available weekday mornings/evenings, and any time over the weekend! My time is a bit more limited during the week, but on Saturdays and Sundays, I would be more than happy to provide several drop-ins/walks for your pet! As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to keep your babies safe. Because I’ve been walking my cat for the past 6 years, I’ve had to learn how to read his body language, and the body language of the hundreds of dog’s we’ve interacted with. I’m by no means an expert, but I can often tell the difference between nervousness and excitement, stress and comfort, and anxiety and confidence. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement, respecting boundaries, and creating a loving relationship with animals. If your dog loves to constantly play tug, we’ll constantly play tug! If your cat is anxious and needs 30 minutes of playtime in order to feel relaxed around me, that’s what we’ll do! I love learning about an animal’s specific personality, and tailoring the kind of care I provide to exactly what they need!

I prefer to set up not the highest rate, so you can fairly evaluate my service and encourage by additional tips, which will be the great sign of providing the services you was satisfied with. I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats since early childhood, which helped me naturally understand their behavior, needs, and personalities. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes, including large breeds over 100 pounds, as well as smaller dogs. I focus on creating a calm, respectful, and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for, but in the same time I love to provide them appropriate activities.I prefer to be patient, attentive, and always adjust my approach to each dog’s temperament and routine.I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits well into my routine, as I’m available during weekday evenings and have full availability on weekends. I plan my time around feeding, walks, playtime, and rest so pets receive consistent attention and care. On weekends, I can fully focus on pets throughout the day, providing companionship, supervision, and a calm, comfortable environment. I care for pets the same way I would want someone to care for my own. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe. I keep the space calm, clean, and secure, always supervise pets, and make sure they get attention, affection, and proper care. In a client’s home, I respect their space and focus on creating a stress-free environment for their pet.

About: I have the most experience with various dog breeds young and old. More recently I have grown to also love and care for cats. Most of my full time experience has been with my personal dogs. Zoe, an Australian Shepard, was a shining light in my life for 14 years. Prior to Zoe I had Max, a sweet and gentle Rottweiler I was with for 6 years. For the past 4 years I've been spending a lot of time caring for the beloved pets and homes of my friends and family. I'm a retired teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do some regular volunteer work with cancer patients a few hours each week. I walk or hike daily and a furry companion would be welcome. It's one of the main reasons I signed up for Rover! I am also now on Trusted Housesitters and have experience caring for pets in client's homes. I could have a pet in my home for short visits. I live near a lovely wooded trail that dogs LOVE.

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life and currently have two cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of feline personalities and needs. I love spending time with cats, whether that means playing, giving them attention and affection, or simply keeping them company :) I also have experience walking and pet-sitting dogs of different ages and personalities. I volunteer with Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, which has given me even more experience interacting with dogs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away! I work from home so have a flexible schedule to check in on your cat(s) or dog(s) and take your furry friends for a walk! I am very active and love to be outside, so would love to get some fresh air with your pet. About: I grew up with animals and have always loved having them around. My family rescued two dogs and two cats when I was little, and I started dog and cat sitting for other families when I was around 12. I’ve continued pet sitting ever since and have also rescued two hamsters of my own. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so I always try to give pets more than just the basic care they need. Whether I’m doing a drop-in, going for a walk, or having a pet stay with me, I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and company. I know it can be stressful for pets when their people are away, so I want them to feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. I recently moved to Carmel and would love to connect with local pet owners and have some animals in my life again. I currently work part time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and boarding. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 5 years, including some that require medication. I’ve cared for friends and family’s pets along with occasional coworkers I’m currently not working a full time job so have plenty of time to spend with the pups or cats; walking, playing, any needed potty breaks. Although I cannot keep pets at my apartment, I make sure to create the safest place for any dog/cat I care for and make sure all their needs are met.

I make sure that food, water, treats, and play things are available at all times for all pets.
