Marianne kept my judgmental and grumpy kitties very happy! I’m not even sure they noticed I was gone. She made sure food and water and the litter box was clean. And, she even gave my plants some TLC.

About: I have been living with my roommate's dog for the past year and I care for her when my roommate is at work. My love for dogs has grown exponentially in the last year due to caring for her, and I find myself a go-to for friends when they need a dog sitter or walker! I love how dogs have such complex and interesting personalities, and you can really build a relationship with them. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring neighborhoods with a furry little companion. I have a naturally calming constitution, which I have found helpful for dealing with stressful moments or young untrained pups! I always let the dog come to me, and I will address him/her at their level. I respect their autonomy but can easily establish/reinforce boundaries. Overall, I adore dogs and want them to act and react in a positive manner so I can give them pets:) I currently work part-time in the evenings and weekends, with my mornings and afternoons during the week being free or very flexible. As the weather improves, I'd love to be spending the weekdays walking dogs! My schedule is currently very open and I am available for exercising and spending time with your pets! I am more of a late morning riser but can accommodate to your pets’ individual needs. Occasionally I work evenings and would need to be gone for 4-6 hrs between roughly 5pm-11pm. I can confidently keep your pets safe, exercised and cared for. I genuinely love animals and want to make them feel safe and comfortable. I have a calm demeanor that animals naturally gravitate towards.

About: *New to Rover…NOT new to pet sitting!* Hi there! My name is Gisella. I live in Big Sur and I absolutely adore dogs (and cats). I’ve owned dogs throughout my whole life…I don’t remember ever not having a dog, actually. All of our dogs have always been rescues/adopted, and with that comes its challenges, especially dealing with different types of personalities in dogs. I’m comfortable with all dogs, big or small, young or old. I worked for Carmel Valley Vet and was team leader at Dawg House Grooming Salon in Carmel Valley Village. I can ensure your pet will be in great care with some of my amazing references. I have years of dog sitting/walking, house sitting experience and I’ll treat your pets as my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m pretty flexible. I can do overnights in your home or in my home (as long as my dog approves), I can do drop in visits, and I can do walks. I can pretty much do anything you need. I have a fully fenced front yard. The property is not accessible to any trails as we live on a cliff side. However, I can drive about five minutes and walk your pup if need be. If I’m staying in your home I will do whatever you usually do for your pet.

Jazmine was wonderful with my two corgis. One of my dogs has terrible anxiety, but Jazmine was able to really help her stay calm and get through her scared moments. She also did some training for my younger dog. She was always punctual, a very good communicator, and handled herself professionally.

About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. And, I spend time either playing with them or going for a walk, depending on the service and the clients' request.

Nicole checked in on my three elderly dogs. She took great care of them while I was out and made sure Tally got her afternoon medication. During the visit she sent updates and photos, and asked clarifying questions since this was the first visit. Nicole also left the house in perfect condition and made sure the house was locked up when she left. I look forward to having her take care of my dogs again.

About: I truly love being around animals and caring for them - it makes me happy and always puts a smile on my face. Dogs give unconditional love and I do the same back to them. Besides personal passion and experience, I pet sit for my friends and my family. Even in college with a full load of classes and 2 part time jobs, I also ran pet sitting business with a friend, and handled many clients per day. From cats and dogs, large and small, horses, and homes as well. If you know me, you know me as an animal lover and I am the person that you think of when you need someone to care for your pet, or pet related question. I have two sweet Chihuahuas (rescues), two bunnies (rescues), and two aquariums with large fish. I am also the person that people bring injured animals to...I had a pet squirrel for this reason, and a feral cat as well because they were brought to me by neighbors hoping I could care for them. I have two chihuahuas at home and we have a routine - When I leave for work they are sad, but they know they get a treat as I walk out the door. I come home for lunch to check on them, but they are content sleeping on my bed in their little beds. I usually take them with me wherever I go because they are part of the family. I have had dogs my whole life and did the same with my previous dogs, (a husky and lab). My pets always live a long life....I pay attention to their behavior and can tell if something is wrong with them just by looking at them. I have a tender love for dogs and all creatures great and small. I typically work from 8 to 5 but have flexibility so can be home when I am pet sitting, take the doggie to work with me and adapt to the pet's needs. On a typical day, since my dogs are happy sleepingwhile I work, I come home at lunch to walk them or just to spend time with them. I am very responsible and will do what I promise to do. I communicate best via text but can be reached by phone and email as well. I have a full-time job but have flexibility-I can take the dog/dogs to work, work from home, or come home throughout the day. I look forward to coming home to see my pups! I am free on the weekends and love to take them to the park, the beach, or on hikes. I have a fenced yeard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company - some owners prefer crating at night so I will do what your fur baby is used to. I am also happy to have your fur baby sleep on my bed with my two other doggies. They have their own favorite spots and there is plenty of room for more fur babies!
