About: There was never not a dog in my house growing up, so caring for dogs is second nature to me. Over the years I’ve taken care of everything from purebreds to mutts, and while I’ve always had a soft spot for rescues, I love all dogs equally and treat every one like family. I work primarily from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I can offer plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I know how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll always do my best to stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! About: As a child we weren't allowed to have cats despite wanting one. My brother and I secretly fed and cared for a stray in our garage until we were caught and had to find a proper home for her. Now my parents have a cat! I've cared for Cali a few times in recent years when they would travel. Most recently I spent three months in Italy at a villa and part of my job was to care for Tinker, a brave and friendly male cat whom I adored. About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. And, I spend time either playing with them or going for a walk, depending on the service and the clients' request.

When our plans changed at the last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. About: I have the most experience with various dog breeds young and old. More recently I have grown to also love and care for cats. Most of my full time experience has been with my personal dogs. Zoe, an Australian Shepard, was a shining light in my life for 14 years. Prior to Zoe I had Max, a sweet and gentle Rottweiler I was with for 6 years. For the past 4 years I've been spending a lot of time caring for the beloved pets and homes of my friends and family. I'm a retired teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. About: I got my first dog when I was 7 and was a part of the training process from the beginning. I have taken care of pets of varying ages but I always make sure to give each one the attention and love that they deserve, despite their age. My favorite part about taking care of pets is going outside and enjoying nature together. During summer I have a lot of free time to take care of pets pretty much anytime. However, during the school year, I mostly only have availability on the weekends due to school and sports. I care for pets by always giving them the proper food that their owners approve of while also staying with them long enough for them to go to the bathroom if needed. About: There was never not a dog in my house growing up, so caring for dogs is second nature to me.
