About: I have the most experience with various dog breeds young and old. More recently I have grown to also love and care for cats. Most of my full time experience has been with my personal dogs. Zoe, an Australian Shepard, was a shining light in my life for 14 years. Prior to Zoe I had Max, a sweet and gentle Rottweiler I was with for 6 years. For the past 4 years I've been spending a lot of time caring for the beloved pets and homes of my friends and family. I'm a retired teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do some regular volunteer work with cancer patients a few hours each week. I walk or hike daily and a furry companion would be welcome. It's one of the main reasons I signed up for Rover! I am also now on Trusted Housesitters and have experience caring for pets in client's homes. I could have a pet in my home for short visits. I live near a lovely wooded trail that dogs LOVE.

I am currently a full-time student at CSU Monterey. I grew up in San Jose and recently moved to Carmel to be closer to school. I am available throughout the day to do drop ins and walks. I can walk your pet in your neighborhood if that is comfortable for you. Or I can bring toys for them and keep them in your home. Either way my goal is to make sure that you’re pet is given attention and an outlet for exercise.

About: Growing up on a ranch, animals have always been a big part of my life. Dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, horses, sheep, llamas, you name it! I can hardly remember a time in my life that there hasn't been a dog or cat (or several of each) sharing our home and consider myself lucky to have had them in my life. I have substantial experience with all age groups: puppies & kittens to mature pets needing special care. Working remotely, my schedule is very flexible in offering care of those in need. About: I’ve had several loving dogs and cats in my life. I would love to help walk and show your pet some love when you are away from home. I am free in the mornings and evenings. I work from home so am also available during the day on select dates. I am free on weekends as well. I am unable to have pets at my rental property, but will show the upmost respect and care to your home during my visits with your pet.

If a client requires a crate for their pet, they will need to bring it.

Lauren was absolutely the best! She helped out when we needed her, and Eddie loved her! He usually goes everywhere with us, but was so happy to stay with her, so at ease with her from the beginning, and so relaxed when we picked him up. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
