Pet Sitting in Monterey

About: I have taken care of my sisters dogs ranging from 1-3 week at a time and provide love,care, safety and fun. My place is fenced and dogs can be roaming around. I currently work full time (remote) and I can walk or watch dogs before, during or after work and on the weekends. I open to onboard dogs any day. I am available to house/dog sit at owners home. I walk, feed and play with the dog during the day and night; walk the dog as much as needed. I clean up after the dog when able.

About: I have the utmost respect for life in all forms. Years experience volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation and fostering animals. Grew up training dogs and target training chickens and fish. I have my own senior dog, so I am well versed in senior dog care. I have a gift for observation and notice the little things and differences in behavior and health. Always excited to care for new furry friends :) I work from home and care for my senior dog. The animals I choose to care for are my priority, daily/weekly routine can fluctuate due to the specific needs of each pet. I have a fenced yard with lots of sun that when possible I sit and soak the heat in with my fur baby. Plenty of sun indoors too for those that enjoy to sunbathe. I keep a good schedule and routine to keep consistency and trust. Walks and stimulation to keep anxiety down, and dedicated one on one time playing games or doing tricks to build a confident relationship with me and your pet.

About: I’ve worked with animals almost my entire life from dogs and cats to horses, goats, and chickens. I worked teaching kids how to handle animals for many years. I have three dogs, two small elderly mutts and a 3 year old German Shepard/malinois. I’ve dog sat for family friends for up to 3 weeks at a time. I love working with animals and it’s been a passion of mine for years. I’m extremely flexible and can work with any schedule. I’m in college and do mostly online classes. I can conform to any set schedule your pets already on. My childhood dog has anxiety so I’m used to taking care of anxious, clingy, and high energy dogs. I have experience with a wide variety of cats as well. My main priority is your animal(s) comfort.

About: I grew up with family dogs and took on the responsibility of helping train our puppies from a young age. My experience grew as I took on part time sitting jobs for friends and family and have loved getting to spend time with all of the animals under my watch. If you have a high energy dog in need of walks or runs, I'm more than happy to provide that sort of energy! I have a very flexible schedule that can allow me to watch, feed, and keep your pet company throughout the week days and most weekends. I will be able to come and watch your pet in the comfort of their own home and take them out to play and for walks if requested!

About: I have personal experience raising my bluenose American Staffordshire Terrier for six years. I recently lost my fur son on April 10th. I am very comfortable taking care of high energy, strong, and high-needs dogs. I also have a lot of experience working with small dogs, as I have grown up with 3 mini dachshunds and regularly volunteered at animal shelters growing up. I am comfortable with cat care, as I helped to take care of my roommate's Ragdoll for three years and have helped with cat sitting for multiple friends. I grew up doing competitive horseback riding and have experience in equine care. I love animals and I have fun pampering them! I work from 10-5, but am available any time before or after that for walks and pet sitting. My hours are generally consistent. I am free on weekends as well! For pet walking, I ensure a minimum of 20 minutes total. I like to allow your pet for time to sniff, exercise, and/or practice commands. Before I leave the house, I also ensure the pet is relaxed and comfortable, and that water has been refreshed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every size and kind since I was a kid. I’ve taken a little break because I am in college but still love to be around animals in anyway I can be. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, dog-sit, feed, and play with their pets whenever necessary. I can currently back home in Monterey for the summer from college! My current work schedule is Monday: 4pm-7pm, Tues, Wed, Thurs: 9am-12:30pm! Outside of those hours I will be available so please don’t hesitate to reach out! Communication is key for me and my clients and will make sure that is present in all my bookings 😊 There are many great areas around Monterey area for walking dogs, along Lovers point, Asilomar, Carmel, etc! I will make sure to spend time outside with your dog to make sure they get some walk time in and have a space to get their energy out.

About: I've been taking care of dogs for the last 15 years. I have a wide range of experience across many breeds. My wife is a vetrinary technician, our family is very knowledgable and encourages all types of pets. I am currently on parental leave and my schedule is highly flexible. Willing to accomadate a wide range of schedules and requests. Mornings and afternoons work best for me! I am more than happy to help with any house sitting tasks or requests. About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. I understand that having a new person around might be scary for your pet at first but I look forward to building a relationship with them so we all feel safe and comfortable. Having a nervous, reactive dog and a nervous cat has taught me how to better understand dog and cat body language and to go at their own pace.
