Pet Sitting Monterey

About: I have taken care of my sisters dogs ranging from 1-3 week at a time and provide love,care, safety and fun. My place is fenced and dogs can be roaming around. I currently work full time (remote) and I can walk or watch dogs before, during or after work and on the weekends. I open to onboard dogs any day. I am available to house/dog sit at owners home. I walk, feed and play with the dog during the day and night; walk the dog as much as needed. I clean up after the dog when able.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 5 years, including some that require medication. I’ve cared for friends and family’s pets along with occasional coworkers I’m currently not working a full time job so have plenty of time to spend with the pups or cats; walking, playing, any needed potty breaks. Although I cannot keep pets at my apartment, I make sure to create the safest place for any dog/cat I care for and make sure all their needs are met.

I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and genuinely love building connections with each pet. Available for walks, overnight care, and drop-ins. I love taking dogs for neighborhood walks with plenty of time for sniffing, playing with their favorite toys, giving lots of affection and belly rubs, and simply keeping them company while you’re away. About: I am new to Rover, but dogs and cats have been central to my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our home was a rotating little zoo — chicks, turtles, bunnies — but the loves of my life had four legs and fur. The first was Zhuzhu/Piggie, a Samoyed boy I got in middle school. If you know Samoyeds, you know: that cloud-like floof, that signature angel smile. I watched him grow from a tiny pup into a majestic, hefty pillow, and walked him through every kind of weather without a second thought. Then there are my two cats back at my parents' place. Bread — a white cat my sister rescued on a snack run when she found her shivering and stray on the street. She went out for bread and came home with something much better. And Xiaoxiao, an orange tabby my mom adopted — named "little" because he was the runt of the litter, though I suspect he's made up for it since. By luck, my husband and I had the opportunity to home a rescue cat, a tiny apricot baby only few weeks old, in early May 2026, and I have loved Mila like I had birthed him. I made milk formula for him 6 in the morning, fussed over his digestion and stool, took him to the vet multiple times, shopped products for him with the utmost meticulous manner. I know what your pet means to you. Your dog or cat won't just be in safe hands. They'll be fussed over, admired, and genuinely cherished. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your baby pet! I'm available for boarding, dog sitting/walking, cat sitting on weekends and weekdays before 4:30 pm. Due to my current living situation, I offer care in your home rather than mine, which honestly works out better for your cat anyway. Cats are creatures of habit and comfort, and staying in their own space, with their own smells, their own window perches and hiding spots, makes for a much less stressful experience than an unfamiliar environment. When I visit, I'll follow your routines to the letter — feeding schedules, litter scooping, fresh water, any medications or special instructions. I'm a respectful, tidy guest, and I'll leave your home exactly as I found it. My job is simple: keep your cat happy, safe, and well-loved until you're back.

About: I have been working with dogs since I was 10 years old and started 4-H, I have shown dogs trained them and worked with animals my entire life. I worked for a breeder and helped care for a litter of 6 from birth to 8 weeks. Caring for animals is important to me and I want to create trusting relationships with my clients so they know their pet is in the best hands as I know I only wanted the same for my own pups. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the week. Because I create my own work hours, I’m able to plan my days around pet care and give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether it’s regular walks, check-ins, or overnight care, I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I care for pets in my client’s home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and secure while their owners are away. I prioritize feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, medication instructions, and plenty of attention and companionship. “Elizabeth was an absolute miracle for Kona and for me. She is such a kind human, and it was immediately clear that she has an incredible capacity to care for and love the animals entrusted to her. This was my first time away from Kona since she lost her sister, and she has been noticeably more anxious since then. While I was gone, she was incredibly responsive and thorough. Her daily Rover cards were detailed, thoughtful, and honestly a joy to read. What meant the most to me was how closely Elizabeth paid attention to Kona herself. She understood that Kona needed time and space to become comfortable, and she kept me updated as that trust gradually developed. I could see it happening in the photos and hear it in the way she described their time together. Elizabeth really cares. There is no question about that. Knowing Kona was with someone so attentive, patient, affectionate, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing gave me an enormous amount of comfort while I was away. I cannot thank her enough, and I would trust her with my little girl again without hesitation.”

About: Dogs are truly a humans best friend.🥰We enjoy taking them for walks, (helps keep us in shape😁) playtime and just bonding with them. When we needed sitters for our pup years ago, we appreciated our sitter checking in with us. We feel communicating with our neighbors, gives us all peace of mind. So if it’s ok with you, we will send a picture, or video to assure you that your pup is safe and sound. We have more time now, to enjoy God’s creation and do things that bring us real joy. We absolutely love and appreciate the gift of life and enjoy caring for and bonding with all types of animals. Whether at the park, or at the beach, dogs tend to gravitate towards my husband and I. (They obviously feel our ‘love for dogs’ vibe.🥰) We have 4 grand pets we love dearly and look forward to their visits, but when they go home, we love on everyone else’s pets, lol. We decided to start pet sitting again part time, to help fill that void.🫠 We prefer sitting at your home, so your pet feels comfortable and less stressed while you’re away, but we also don’t mind entertaining them at our home for the day. If so, it would be helpful if they’re crate-trained, in case we have to step away for a little while. It is of upmost importance to us, to see that your pet is safe and happy under our care. We love to spoil and treat them as if they were our own, so beware, they tend to not want us to leave.🥰

About: I’ve had several loving dogs and cats in my life. I would love to help walk and show your pet some love when you are away from home. I am free in the mornings and evenings. I work from home so am also available during the day on select dates. I am free on weekends as well. I am unable to have pets at my rental property, but will show the upmost respect and care to your home during my visits with your pet.

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have always loved them. I'm the one my friends and family always ask to watch their pups, it's something I've always loved doing. My dog Charles has been my shadow for the last 10 years, and although he much prefers the couch life, he still joins me on walks and hikes when he's up for an adventure. I'm new to the Monterey area and currently have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your dog. I'm available throughout the week and can easily work around what you need. Over the last several months, I've cared for my family's two dogs across several trips while they traveled. Charles gets along great with dogs of any size, he's been living happily alongside both of them and loves playing in the backyard together. I've cared for senior dogs and dogs with extra needs, from managing a specific eye care routine for vision loss to giving medication for anxiety during travel, so I'm comfortable following a detailed routine and staying attentive to how a dog's doing day to day. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! My schedule is wide open these days, so I'm flexible for morning walks, midday breaks, or afternoon adventures, whatever fits your pup's routine best. Short notice works too. Safety comes first, whether I'm out on a walk or watching your home. On walks, I always double check your dog's leash, collar, or harness before heading out to make sure everything is secure, and I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and anything that might spook a nervous pup. For drop-ins and house sitting, I treat your home like it's my own. That means doors and gates stay locked, food and water are kept fresh and where they should be, and I leave everything exactly as I found it, plus regular updates and photos so you're never left wondering how things are going :)
