Pet care experience
Less than a mile from Cannery Row
I grew up around horses and learned to respect all living creatures large and small. We always had pets at home and they gravitated towards me because I like to play and have fun with them. I had a cat for 16 years in my youth and loved her so much. Kitties will always have a special place in my heart. I have had many pets over the years and my most recent were two rescue shepherd/husky mix wonderful family members. They were brother and sister and both passed away. I do not currently have any pets of my own right now. Pet sitting is the joy of my life, and I cannot imagine a day without walking, playing and cuddling with furry friends.

As someone who has used rover for years I can say Mary was five stars. She was wonderful with my very anxious cattle dog. Her warm calm presence was perfect for mags temperament. She gave me great feedback during the stay and sent pictures. She knew exactly what to do to keep mag as comfortable as possible in a new environment. I felt so confident that he would be okay with her. 10/10 recommend her with your pets. Thank you Mary!

I am home all day and available to spend quality time with your fur babies! I am extremely flexible and am here for all of your pet’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I like as much information about the pet as you'd like to give me. Whatever your pet needs, I will provide for them. I have lots of experience with anxious dogs and senior dogs and cats. I welcome any information you can provide to help your pet feel comfortable. I will only feed your pet what you provide. I will follow all of your instructions verbatim.
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks with all pets. I like to start with a walk if they are up for it because I feel it’s a good way to get to know each other and trust each other. I have toys, but if your pet likes their own toys we can play with those as well. I am here for them and will do whatever I can to keep them comfortable and safe. I do not take pets off leash unless in a secure gated area, and never with other pets present.
